Dads: FOX Orders Six More Scripts for Struggling Sitcom

Dads sitcom on FOXThough Dads is tied with The Mindy Project as the network’s lowest-rated scripted series, FOX isn’t giving up on it just yet. The network has ordered six additional scripts — which may or may not end up becoming produced episodes.

Four episodes of Dads have aired so far. The premiere drew a 2.2 demo rating with 5.76 million total viewers. The sitcom fell more than 30% in week two and dropped another 13% in week three but seems to now be leveling off.

Dads revolves around a pair of software developers (Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi) whose troublesome fathers (Martin Mull and Peter Riegert) come to live with them and wreak havoc on their lives. Vanessa Lachey, Tonita Castro, and Brenda Song round out the cast.

What do you think? Do you like the Dads sitcom? Do you find it funny? Is it as bad as many say it is?

If Dads was really racist towards Asians, would Brenda Song remain on the show? Dads is the funniest new show this season!

like all great shows if it gets cancelled it will become a cult (like family guy…also a racist but very funny cartoon, and futurama…which too has racist elements)… I love the show and the prostate exam was THE funniest thing to see, Giovanni Ribisi’s tear in the eye was spot on acting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This show is the pinnacle of crap. Not funny and very racist towards Asians. I hate this show and it should’ve died after the pilot. How this show is still going just shows how racist Americans can be to Asians.
