What’s This TV Show About?
A Syfy space opera, Dark Matter stars Marc Bendavid, Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr, Jodelle Ferland, Roger Cross, and Zoie Palmer. The science fiction drama series follows the crew of a derelict spaceship who awake with no memory of who they are or how they got on board. Still, they must work together to survive a threatening voyage charged with vengeance, betrayal, and plenty of secrets.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Dark Matter is averaging a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 612,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 8% and down by 9%, respectively. Find out how Dark Matter stacks up against other Syfy TV shows.
Although it premiered with mediocre numbers, it is still too early to assess the ratings and predict if Dark Matter will be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season. Syfy seems to believe in it though, since they’re adding an after show — After Dark — this season. Dark Matter also airs on the Space channel in Canada, so its fate largely depends on its success north of the border. I’ll keep an eye the U.S. ratings and update this page from time to time.
