Desperate Housewives: Win Season Seven on DVD!

Desperate Housewives season sevenIt was recently announced that Desperate Housewives would be going off the air at the end of the upcoming eighth season. Before the ladies of Wisteria Lane say goodbye however, the big cliffhanger of season seven will have to be wrapped up. As you may recall, Carlos accidentally killed Gabrielle’s step-father and the ladies conspired to cover it up.

You can catch up on season seven of Desperate Housewives on DVD. The five-disc set has just been released and contains all 23 episodes as well as deleted scenes, trivia, featurettes, and outtakes.

Being that it is considered a soap opera type show and i usually dont watch those kind of shows i have watched every episode of the series so far and i would love to add this one to my collection

I find it very interesting that this is one of the few shows that exposes itself from the writing process through post-production on the DVDs. I find those types of things to be very interesting. Seeing how they arrive to the shooting script and how they make the choices to make the episodes is informative. I can’t wait to see what season 7 features hold and essentially what the final season dvds will have.

This may be a wrong thing to say but… in season 7, I was kinda happy to see Lynette’s and Tom’s marriage become in danger because it gives so many opportunities for the writer’s to take the characters in the final season. I was beginning to think that their marriage was too much of trying to “best each other” repeatedly. However, I do hope that of all the housewives that Lynette gets a happy ending. She’s been through so much!
