I just finished watching the episodes of Dirty Sexy Money. I am not one to commit to series and the only one I have ever followed was smallville and they had 9 seasons. From what I’ve learned and saw. This show was hyped up to the start of the ratings to give the show another season with not much hope and the leading possibility that it would not continue past the 2nd season. I found this show on Netflix and never herd about it before. Why there was no big hype. Smallville on the other hand was Hyped up to lead me and my family to follow and watch it. Sad that yes it ended but this show was our new thing. Just hear this out bring it back, hype it up, put it everywhere, call it something, express its something u don’t do and ull see the viewers roll in to see what’s the big hype! Especially because of the way the season ended. Show the ep before and the leading questions and everyone who hasn’t even seen it will still want to know what’s next! You have to spend money to make money and in this case you have a rare shot that has plenty of potential. Take the Nine Lives of Cloyie, that ending was fine something good and entertaining but no where near as good as Dirty Sexy Money or Smallville with its nine seasons. Bring it back and let your wallet grow this show is the next big thing. It just may have been brought out at the wron time. People are at a better place now and are starting to tune back in. Someone’s dad still alive and some one loosing a baby and some one married to a complete stranger come on Hollywood wrap it up and do it good like u did friends make it worth owning all the seasons

I watched the first season when it was aired on t.v. and just found the second season on netflix…i can’t believe abc cancelled it, and without resolving any of the storylines. Bring this show back and do it proper justice with publicity please!!

seriously?!.. Dear ABC, when you cancel a show and bring it back with little to no hype, of course the ratings are going to go down! Not to mention when everyone finally started to get back on board there was already talk of them canceling it again?!… So im sure there was a nice size chunk of viewers who felt it was pointless to watch something that was going to be canceled without finishing the plot!… It should totally be brought back!!!

One of the most fascinating shows on TV and surprisingly someone decides to cancel it.Till now i have still wanted to believe in the last drop of intelligent TV entertainment…but it now seems meaningless .It is crystal clear to me that “the customer is not always right”,especially when he craves for less stupid shows and asks for something lets call it more “pretentious” .

that is messed up the way you are deciding to end the show. i understand that its a business decision but look at the way season 2 ended how do end a show like that ? if the network isn’t interested in airing the show again shop it too other networks for a season that way everybody wins the fans win and you can get what you want as a network as well.
it has had excellent reviews when it started it might just need some additional marketing just some food for thought

I agree with the other comments on this board. What ABC did was dreadful, cancelling a show of such caliber and esteem and replacing it with nothing special. I believe that if the fans gather together though, and not just in a simple petition sort of way, but something more drastic, that the show could be revived. Therefore, I started up a website for it (link below), which, if we have enough involvement from people here and on other petitions, the show still could be saved.

Right now this website is pretty barebones, but if people join, it will expand and we could make a mark at saving this show. Please consider, because I think that we all signed this petition for a reason: the Darlings (and Nick George and Nola Lions) have found a spot in our hearts that we don’t want to go away.

This is insane. A top-notch show, top-notch actors (not a single weak character except possibly Wren, who seems miscast with her milk-fed looks and big Chiclet teeth), a plot that constantly “ups the ante,” and a killer cliff-hanger. I guess ABC is intent on making itself obsolete. What terrible Narratus Interruptus (my phrase).

It figures, ABC always cancels the shows with great actors because the network can’t afford them. I thought the show had great writing and was fun to watch. I think the name most likely scared away some of the more conservative viewers and maybe the ratings showed it. Anyway I was looking forward to the show but I guess I will have to watch a show on HBO or Showtime instead. It’s a shame ABC can’t figure out what to do with their prime time line up. ABC did the same thing with Life On Mars, another great show that was cancelled, ABC really needs to get their act together it seems they are out of touch with what the public likes. I think the program director should be fired, my 9 year old daughter could do a better job. Another bad move ABC, good luck with that.

What bothers me the most beyond finding a show I like is cancelled, is not getting closure. It’s like reading half a good book and loosing it. ABC should have an obligation to give viewers closure.

In 2007 ABC aired 8 episodes of The Traveler in the spring knowing before they were aired that it was cancelled.

The repercussions are easy if ABC has no consideration or obligation to their viewers we have a right to view elsewhere. .

I can’t believe this show has been cancelled. I so looked forward to this show EVERY week!!!!!! I found out that it was back on this summer on Saturday nights by the second Saturday show and no wonder the ratings were low…no one knew it was going to be back on and on Saturday nights at that. If they would advertise better then more people would’ve known it was coming on this summer. This show is FABULOUS!!! Please bring it back…on ABC or any other network!!! My parents love DSM, too!!!

I can’t believe this show was cancelled!!! It was excellent and my husband and I always recorded it if we weren’t going to be home. And it stars a great Canadian actor too…Donald Sutherland…..Bring back this show !!!
