Thus far there’s been no word on ABC execs changing their minds about ordering additional episodes of Dirty Sexy Money. Not only that, but it looks like the network’s not going to air at least one of the installments they’ve already made.
As you might have noticed, last week’s Thanksgiving eve episode was pulled in lieu of a Barbara Walter interview with President-elect Obama. The episode titled “The Facts” centers around Clark the chauffeur (Shawn Michael Patrick). While the Darling family are enjoying Thanksgiving at their New York mansion, Clark must fend off a relentless and sexy reporter (Rena Sofer) by setting the record straight about his employers.
The episode is essentially a clip show and features bits and pieces of unused film from season one. The installment also includes footage of missing-in-action sister Juliet (Samaire Armstrong) and an update on the character’s love life.
Unfortunately for fans of the spoiled rich girl, ABC isn’t planning to air the episode. The like reasons are the installment’s the turkey-day theme and because of the series’ low ratings. Last night’s drew a disappointing 5.67 million viewers and 1.7/5 in the demo.
On the positive side, it seems that Money fans will get some closure in what’s likely to be the series finale. The mystery of who killed Dutch George (the Darling’s former attorney and Nick’s father) will finally be solved – and apparently it’s a big twist! The bigger question remains if the network will keep the show on the schedule long enough to air it.
If they pull Money before all of the episodes have been shown, the finale will likely be made available online. If not, a season two DVD set is very likely and that’ll contain every dirty sexy minute of the second season, including the missing Thanksgiving episode. Stay tuned!

I love this show.
Why to you give us a taste of these shows and when we start watching them and recording them, you pull them off the air? DSM hasn’t even been on long enough for all viewers to even check in. We have referred this show and others are starting to watch it. Ridiculous. Show has new story line and you take it away. Keep it.
Keep the show.
Bring this show back, too good to place on a dusty shelp hidden away somewhere.
LOVE THIS SHOW–PLEASE CONTINUE. THE FINAL EPISODE JUST LEFT US HANGING.
All the good shows get canned by these moronic stations. This was a good show. Acting, dialog, pretty pictures.
Maybe all america does want is brain pablum.
Or maybe we need another distributor?
Who killed Dutch?
The show must go on.
Leaving a show with so many unanswered questions is just wrong. Please bring it back or at least a final episode to end it all properly.
Really disappointed the network would leave viewers hanging. This was a good show.
