TV show description:
This TV series is a modern interpretation of the classic Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde novel by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Doctor Jason Cole (Steven Pasquale) is a highly respected neurosurgeon who seems to have it all — a lucrative career, confident charm and the gift of compassion. Unfortunately, he also has a deep, dark secret.

Every night at 8:25pm, something inside Jason changes. It leaves him almost unrecognizable — seductive, devious, and borderline sociopathic. This new man is his dangerous alternate personality who goes by the name Ian Price and is in control for 12 hours.

For years, Jason has battled Ian, keeping him in check with a powerful experimental sedative. Now, his (their) body has developed a resistance to the serum, setting Ian free once again.

To make matters worse, after being suppressed for so long, Ian is hell-bent on taking revenge on his oppressor. With Jason’s career and everyone he cares about at risk — his patients, friends, coworkers and Doctor Lena Solis (Alana De La Garza), the sweet woman he loves — Jason knows he must stop Ian once and for all.

Doctor Vanessa Young (Phylicia Rashad) is the head of the neurosurgery department, a strong and determined woman who leads by example. Doctor Ruben Marcado (Lin-Manuel Miranda) is a clinical pharmacologist who helps suppress Jason’s alter ego and Josh Stern (Samm Levin) is Jason’s administrative assistant. Olivia Flynn (Ruta Gedmintas) is Jason’s former love interest who also has a son.

I watched the show from to the finale. I was disappointed when it was canceled, thrilled when they brought it back, and now even more disappointed that they cut it off without really fully tying things up. Seemed like a rush to end and the way it was meant to end the show. The whole storyline with the investigation into the disappearance of, Ruban, was just heating up. Sigh, RIP DNH you will be missed. LOL

My girlfriend and I watch the show religiously and have since the pilot aired. When the show got cancelled, we were shocked. Like all the other reviews, I have no idea of why it was cancelled. I completely agree it is a very unique and interesting show, worth writing a second season. We cannot wait till the season comes out on Blu-Ray. We will diffidently be the first in line to buy it.

NBC never keeps, or knows a worthwhile show when they see it, sadly. DO NO HARM was unique, had an outstanding cast, & one of the few ‘appointment’ T.V. Series we all watched weekly. When NBC axed “Medium”, CBS thankfully picked it up…let’s pray another network picks this wonderful Series up.

This should be looked at again !!!!! I have seen a number of shows that should have been cancelled but they are still being aired. Bring Ian, and Jason back.

I really like show… I believe it’s one the best shows Nbc has…Why would they not keep it going…I how that you guys change your mind about Do No Harm… The show is exciting it keeps in expense…An your just capture and drawn in waiting to Ian or Jason’s next move…Nbc would be making a bad move by canceling this show its really a hit show they need to promote with Commercials….
