Dracula: Season One Ratings

Dracula TV show on NBC ratingsThe peacock network has found ratings success with the dark Grimm series on Friday nights. Is there room for another spooky thriller or will Dracula be cancelled quickly like so many other series? Stay tuned!

NBC’s Dracula is a retelling of the classic Bram Stoker story. In London, Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is posing as an American entrepreneur while he seeks revenge on those who cursed him. He doesn’t count on falling in love with a woman (Jessica De Gouw) who looks just like his deceased wife. Others in the cast include Thomas Kretschmann, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Smurfit, Katie McGrath, and Nonso Anozie.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

Please retain this for at least one more season. The story-line is, of course, good, but the costuming and set work is great.

It would be insane to cancel Dracula. The series may have started out slowly but the story line got to be so magnificent that it would be a crime to cancel this series. The story is incomplete there is so much more that can to told, and I for one want to hear the stories to come.

When I started watching it, I was not sure I liked it. I’m and a true horror story lover. The show, as it evoloved, started to gain my interest. The story line got a little more interesting. I started to enjoy it. Even though the ratings may be low, I think the writing and the acting made it enjoyable. So it is my opinion, renew it for another season.

Please bring Dracula back NBC & Carnival Films! This is a fantastic show I loved every episode. After watching it several times again I noticed more in the dialogue as well as the background going-ons in each scene. I don’t know how I missed Mina pilfering a bottle of the red colored liquid that brings life back to all things dead. But I did see it after my 3rd revisit of the series. (This was right before her assault in the medical training theater room.) She injected the rat. Remember the dead rat wiggled it’s tiny talons after Mina closed the box on him? Would it not be surprising if she, Mina, found Renfield dead and decided to inject him with the serum? Also, what if Van Helsing’s son did not really die and he turns out to be Harker, and god forbid Lucy his sister? I think Van Helsing mentioned that his children would be in their 20’s and I think he only assumes they are dead. But are they??? Dracula certainly needs another season and beyond. There are too many questions about the lives of the characters and to leave the fans without answers would be an abomination to the fans.

I enjoyed your story ideas, the posilbilites are endless. I am heartbroken that On Demanded has taken Dracula off the air. I ordered the DVD but was informed that it has not been released yet. What is going on, is as if NBC just doesn’t want us to see the best show on that network. I also watched each episode many times. each time seeing something new. Did you noticed that Dracula mouth was bleeding when he bit Lady Jane, could that have changed her??
Bring back Dracula for many ore seasons…

      • says

I also ordered the season on the 14th of February. Was told the same thing, anonymous. So get over there and vote and get in contact with Amazon.com and ask where the season is. Thanks Maggie

IMA PISCES Great imagination! There r so many possibilities. Mina could use the “red Liquid” blood to help Alexander walk in the sun! Its all the great directions that this show could go in with its great writers and actors. BUT, it won’t happen if we don’t keep Dracula in the minds of NBC, Sky Living, and carnival films. Log onto the site mentioned above and VOTE as many times as u can! Thnks maggie
