The peacock network has found ratings success with the dark Grimm series on Friday nights. Is there room for another spooky thriller or will Dracula be cancelled quickly like so many other series? Stay tuned!
NBC’s Dracula is a retelling of the classic Bram Stoker story. In London, Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is posing as an American entrepreneur while he seeks revenge on those who cursed him. He doesn’t count on falling in love with a woman (Jessica De Gouw) who looks just like his deceased wife. Others in the cast include Thomas Kretschmann, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Smurfit, Katie McGrath, and Nonso Anozie.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/10 update: NBC has cancelled Dracula after one season and 10 episodes.
Final season averages: 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.25 million total viewers.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Dracula TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for second season?
I want Dracula back.
It was so amazing NBC are idols.
Bring Dracula Back !!!
PLEASE BRING DRACULA BACK.
SOOO disappointed that Dracula was cancelled; I have been waiting to hear when the 2nd season would begin, not even toying with the idea that it would be cancelled! What a fall let down.
I think they need to bring Dracula back that was a great show on some like the other crap they have so bring it back please
I really liked this series and it would be a shame to see it cancelled. Unfortunately these series are not getting a fair attempt at success as more and more people have less and time to watch shows live at the original broadcast time and may watch online or on demand where the ratings don’t give a true reflection of the entire viewership. A friend mentioned this series to me and I began to watch it as the season was wrapping up.
I can not believe that Dracula was cancelled and replaced with the likes of Constantine. Dracula was a well written and produced series with some of the most wonderful actors. The production was exceptional and ohso suspenseful. I anxiously waited for the next episode each week and JUST LOVE THIS SERIES. For those of us whose livelihood is our tv programs, it would have been nice to paneled before cancelling. When Constantine bombs and ratings are low, it will reflect on you and then maybe you will once again return Dracula to the viewers.
I like the show! The show was unique and different from the other TV shows. I loved the Victorian Era and the homes and dresses in the show. It looked so real! I even signed the petition and sent e-mails to Netflix to take the show. https://www.facebook.com/DracFans/posts/1478280159093607 OCTOBER 9TH THE FIGHT CONTINUES – – – – LETS ALL DO OUR PART – – – – WE WILL NOT GIVE UP – – – – DRACULA WILL RETURN! The new Fall Season has started and the new series that will be taking our Dracula’s spot as many of you already know… Read more »

I like the series of Dracula it was a good movie I wish that it will be a second series PS. is the first season on DVD yet
Dracula was a quality production, which NBC stupidly canceled only to replace with a vastly inferior supernatural drama, Constantine. Constantine is pulling in a fraction of Dracula’s audience with much worse ratings share, so it serves NBC right!
This was a classic example of a blatant and uninformed stupid decision constructed by a group of myopic dummies at a time when information is tantamount, footloose and fancy free. How could a decision be made without input from a samlpling of viewing audience comment before the fact. Now this is how money and passion mixes like oil and water.
I WANT IT BACK!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT SHOW…PLEASE BRING IT BACK.
