Dracula: Season One Ratings

Dracula TV show on NBC ratingsThe peacock network has found ratings success with the dark Grimm series on Friday nights. Is there room for another spooky thriller or will Dracula be cancelled quickly like so many other series? Stay tuned!

NBC’s Dracula is a retelling of the classic Bram Stoker story. In London, Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is posing as an American entrepreneur while he seeks revenge on those who cursed him. He doesn’t count on falling in love with a woman (Jessica De Gouw) who looks just like his deceased wife. Others in the cast include Thomas Kretschmann, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Smurfit, Katie McGrath, and Nonso Anozie.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

I love the new concept and take on the whole Dracula methos. I’ve been a big fan of the show and I want them to continue it. That being said they really need to move it to a better time slot if they are looking for alot more viewership. It is an intelligently don’t series that seems to be getting better, with great acting and twists. I write reviews for a blog and I would really give this show a 4 out of 5. Please forward our thoughts to NBC and help to sway them to give a great show on the air.

I love DRACULA – I think it is well acted, the story is great and the sets are beautiful – like a movie! I sure hope it is NOT cancelled!

Please renew Dracula for a second season. Jonathan Rhys Meyers does an excellent job portraying a more “modern” rendition of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and the rest of the cast is equally as talented. The costumes and set design are absolutely stunning!

The story-line is now really gaining momentum. If you look at the Facebook fan-page for NBC’s Dracula, the number of fans are steadily increasing. The over all majority of comments are all compliments about the show and requests for a second season.

Having a time slot for Dracula late on a Friday night automatically puts the series in a difficult spot for ratings. The four week hiatus didn’t help either. Even still, all things considered, there is a very strong fan base for this series. Not only in the United States, but in other parts of the world. One comment from a fan in China said to check the ratings on Youku.com. People love this series and are tuning in! The fans want more!

Please, do not cancel this series. I do not own a TV or purchase cable because I refuse to spend money on poorly scripted and brainless reality TV shows. I stream Dracula from the NBC website on my computer, and saw the advertisement through Facebook in the Spring of 2013. I have already pre-ordered the first season of Dracula through Amazon.com and I not only request, but expect to see a second season. I will be highly disappointed if the show is cancelled after season one.

Please don’t leave a slot open for more of those brainless TV sitcoms. Dracula is intelligently thought out, very well played, and has so much depth.

As the others have stated before me, great show, well written, fabulous costumes, great casting! Johathan was outstanding in the Tudors & this role suits him to a T! It would be a same to loose the desire to work all week & have nothing worth while on tv to look forward too! Says a mom of 4! I beg of you!

  6. Leanna says

This is the ONLY show I will not wait and watch later on Tivo! I will cancel all plans to ensure I get to see the first showing of this each Friday night! This is, by far, the BEST series on NBC, to include Jimmy Fallon, Grimm, etc. It is intelligent, creative, smart, and sooo seductive. NBC, if you don’t renew and move it to a better day and time slot, you are a fool!
