I agree with all of you. I was really into DRIVE. A few of my friends were even into it, they wouldn’t gamble that night so that they could watch the show. PUT IT ON FX OR THE REST OF THE SHOW ON THE INTERNET!

This show was perfect for our family of four. When we saw the first episode we were screaming Oh Yeah’ he’s back (Nathan Fillion)! Then we saw the show and we were hooked then we waited and waited and recieved nothing. It is cruel and unusual punishment to cancel a series with a unique plot and a strong and talented core group of actors.After, catching on to Firefly late then it being cancelled was hard on us. I mean really, how many good family shows are out there that both parents and children have marked on their viewing calenders. Just as they made a movie called Serenity that sort of gave us an ending I believe that they should at least do the same for all the dissapointed viewers of Drive give us some sense of closure, PLEASE. P.S. Someone anyone give Nathan Fillion his own show that won’t be cancelled until it fails at least three seasons for he’s an excellent actor and extremely believable in his roles. It doesn’t hurt that he’s; also hard not to go Yum, Yum over.

This isn’t fair. This is the only show, ever, that I had ever followed. I had to give up all my other favorite shows and then they cancel it without warning. This show was already becoming personal and I was enjoying it. By the number of people who have left comments for it to come back, I have to say that it was probably going to raise FOX’s ratings. They should have at least gave a notice and then end with the final two episodes. This was a show that I became extremly attached to and I actually made time to watch it. Please bring it back or at least show the final two episodes. Thanks.

I just found these episodes online. I never saw it during it’s brief run on TV. MY LOSS!!! Excellent show! I didn’t think I would like it because I’m not a big racing fan. This is so much more than a racing show. As a woman, it has a great story to hold women’s interest, and tons of action for men for them to enjoy. I really hope they can renegotiate and get this show back on the air.

I can’t believe you cancelled Drive. I searched for weeks before checking online & geting the bad news. I had been telling everyone to watch for it, but too late. Fox would have led the way out of the overabundance of Reality shows & had something worth watching, with a great story line. Hopefully, another network will see it’s potential & pick it up & Fox can go to the bottom of the pile. Also, Nathan Fillion is great & so is the cast. I wouldn’t change anyone.

It doesnt even make sense to me to spend all that money on advertising a show then not even giving it a chance to get popular. Fox must have spent millions of dollars on advertising and a bunch more on producing it then only showed like 3 hours, the least they should have done was taken it off prime time and just aired it later at night or possibly a couple hours earlyer.

i agree with the comments regarding DRIVE .. and how FOX wont let a show develop to its potential.. i suppose its a ratings biz and it seems the majority outway the minority.. some words of advice for FOX i beleive that LOST took some time for development and following and if they had patience and soem audience appreciation i beleive drive would have developed a good following.. they did the same with vanished.. Fox it seems is begining to leave a bitter and sour taste.

I never even heard of Drive, but the guy who introduced me to Firefly(great) talks wonders about it. i don’t plan to watch Drive at all after reading all these comments because I really don’t want to invest 5 hours into something I might fall in love with. I think, and I’m dead serious, the fans of this show should sue FOX for emotional distress or something like that. I’m sure there is a lawyer out there that would take the case if enough people got together. Wouldn’t it make amazing news. Think about it.

Drive episodes on DVD (full version of course)! and retail them! $40-$100 is reasonable for me!
Drive was the best show and hard to believe it had low ratings!
It was something that my wife and I marked on the calender and to do list! A guy show that girls could relate to and vice versa!! Come on FOX with all that money what is a couple more shows on tv or some dvd sets for people that are requesting!!!

Drive is to the automotive enthusiast what American Idol is to brain dead idiots.
I guess you can’t sell as much commercial time to an audience that is mentally prepared to find their entertainment elsewhere if you don’t offer quality television. Better yet, sell it to HBO I’m sure they’d do an even better job with it, afterall the Sopranos are finished.
Fox is making a terrible decision dropping Drive. You have networks such as Spike and The Discovery Channel making a killing appealing to the gearheads!

DRIVE had terrible actors and actresses. I liked the idea of it… but all of the characters were fake and had the talent have of an extra. And what’s with Kristin Leman trying to look and be like Uma Thurman… I didn’t understand it. Also Nathan Fillion was a terrible actor.

But I have to admit Fox didn’t give people time to get hooked on it. It can’t measure all of their new shows on 24, Prison Break and American Idol.
But sadly the best thing about DRIVE was the theme song.
But it was a….
POINTLESS SHOW.

This is bull because Drive was a good show and just becauase it was aired on a night of the week where other series were going on and in the middle of the season is why it had awful ratings. And since when does ratings tell how good a show is or not? Why not try playing the series in the fall when the new line up comes out. Would it only make sense to grab the viewers when the season begins and not when it is almost over. Who does FOX have working for them anyways, sounds like the people in the office taking care of the business need to sit back and actually watch the shows and get responce from real viewers and keep the good shows on and get rid of reality tv.

It’s beyond me why they still try and sell shows to FOX.
Series on FOX never get what they deserve, either they are canceled way to early, or they have to run until nobody wants to see them anymore….
Not even the people involved in making the shows (X-Files anyone?)
I knew before Drive even started that FOX would cancel it after only a few eps, I watched it anyways…

I am the mother of 6 natural children and 2 step children ages 2,8,9 14, 14, 17, 23 and 25 and four grand kids 2,5,6, and 9 all but the 2 years olds and us 46 year old parents loved watching Drive. It was entertaining and different. We planned also time around the show. We looked and looked for it to be on the next monday night and to all of our disapointment it did not show then we checked the schedule for the next few weeks and then now we find out a great entertaining show and now it is canceled. We were all disapointed about Invasion being canceled another great show but Drive was unique entertaining and had original quality like none of the series that is on the air. You messed up again Fox. When is the peoples opinions going to count instead of the advertisers or producers just thinking the ratings are low because of who they target to get the opinions from? Then I found out to Jericho was canceled is it because it is not profane or constant same old crap shows that you want to keep on the air. Originality needs to be seen. Give people a chance to see what is going on. Fox we will leave your station if you dont get things right. I know all the shows that have been canceled that we liked are not on your network but your choices on cancelations sucks.

Well, let’s see. I did’nt watch the episode one time while it was airing I put it on my DVR then watched it later. Duh, some of us can’t be home all the time. But thats why we pay for dvr services so we can watch the shows we like LATER. Do those reviews count? Let’s see is’nt 2marrow the last night of American Idol(yeah i’m an american idol junky and sorry for it) looks like u screwed up. I cannot believe that Fox cancalled Drive. It had action, suspense, drama, and everything a good show is made of. And they ended it with no warning?? This was the one and only show I, and millions of people, were actually into, and naturally they pull it. This is unbelieveable. And to talk about bad ratings then put it back on on the 4th of July is another stupid move. Don’t complain about bad ratings and then put it on on a day when no one will watch it… but I guess a good thing is that we will have another 2 episodes to watch. Truely I can care less if you actually end up reading this or not, this is mainly for the thousands; if not, hundreds of thousands, that you have personally hurt with the cancellation of, what seemed to be,m the only good show on TV. Sure, honestly, it wasn’t very exciting at first, the show started slow, but like a car, it needed a few seconds in order to get to 60, and if givin time, the show, easily could have done it. But once again you, FOX, have showed the american views, better yet, the world, how little you care about what they would like to watch and how much more you care about your own profit. Television was origionally created for entertainment, not profit, which is why TV shows were created. If you have a heart somewhere in your vast and giant media empire, please, look inside it and remember that television wasn’t created for the profit, but for the entertainment, and that our entertainment was DRIVE. So for the love of all of those who loved that show, bring it back and show the world that you still care, then, and only then will the profit return with it.

Massive disappointment does not begin to discribe the emotion I felt when I saw Drive was cancelled. It was one of the best shows this year. What are you thinking? Do you not want your network to survive? Whoever made this decision does not want to give FOX a chance to see what will bring in the revenue. Stop and think are they really working for fox or is there a traitor in the ranks. Pay Attention to the People. Bring Drive back or sell to another network and finish the deed.

Fox suxs! Drive had the potential for being a brilliant show… but no them that be decided not enough viewers and scrapped it…firefly should be a constant reminder of how what fox thinks and what the veiwing public want are two completely different things down to those who have no taste or faith!!

Did anyone from FOX even try Googling fan reviews of Drive before it decided to kill it, the people at FOX must be brain dead if they thought that a show about racing would be a flop.
All Petrol Heads enjoy a bit of American Muscle and Drive was looking to be a good place to get it, there really isn’t that much else on that was fueling my interest as most shows with Muscle cars tend to be about ruining them with pointless upgrades.

If anyone at FOX is reading these posts, please do something that will allow us to keep seeing this great show, and before you kill again try sending it to Australia and the UK, we have millions of racing fans who would watch…

I am crushed. I have been waiting for a show like this for years. Why did fox do this to me again!!!!
This really sucks. They didn’t give the show enough time to be discovered. Did they do their home work? Don’t they realize that most of their shows are sleepers that become hits. I hope someone takes it up.

I waited for ever for the show to air and I Loved it.I was a devoted fan after “Prison Break” it was my monday evening line-up. I hope it comes back or at least let the fans somehow purchase the episodes I’m P/O

I agree that Drive should still be on the air! I watched the first four episodes and got interested in it! I think someone should start a poll and send it to Fox telling them to put it back on the air!

Bring DRIVE back!! Without a ratings box hooked to every TV there is really no way of knowing how many viewers you really had. The show was really good, and the ratings cant be that good for old episodes of House!

This show, with the right advertising, combined with someone who can actually tell his a$$ from a hole in the ground has one of the LARGEST potentials for a fan base that I have seen in many years of watching TV. Does fox not consider that a fairly large amount of people no longer watch TV shows on TV, but are able to download them directly after their airing? What money is not made in commercials can be made in…hmmm..I dont know…maybe CAR COMPANYS!!!..We give you money…you show our car on your show…god forbid anyone think about that for a show that involves RACING!!! Not to mention that it is obvious that what fan base didnt exist then, sure exists now. Fox, please fire whoever made the decision to cancel that show, then rehire them so you can get the satisfaction of firing them again. Then you can hire my 3 year old niece to make these sort of decisions, because she could obvious do better then that person could. If you have a job opening in that area, I would be more then helpful to give you the address of my niece so you can contact her. Thanks for your genius marketing decisions.

This was the only show I looked foward to watching on Fox, American Idol doesnt capture my attention anymore, Ive never really watched 24, The Simpsons and Kings of the Hill will always be good, but there are no good 8:00 pm sjows during the week. I think if anything their ratings will fail because of this. We should go on strike people!!!
