It is really bad to put a show on the air only for 6 episodes, and when the show is getting better they (fox) just pull it off the air, they could just put it on a diferent schedule. Fox is getting worst but the minute, they just know how to air House nothing more.Borring no?

this is ridiculous i liked the show very much and this isnt the 1st time yous have cancelled a show right in the middle without letting us see the end there was that other show when the wife went missing and the other show with the friends fron high school and the girl getting killed now this my cable company wanted to cancel fox and i told them if they did i was switching to direct tv but i dont no for what now you dont even finish out your shows ever once everyone gets hooked

Come on! I’ve been waiting to see the rest of this show since it aired, only to google it to find that it’s been cancelled. What is up with this network. I like House, but I would much rather watch DRIVE. IF ANYONE FROM THE NETWORK READS THIS GET IT BACK ON AND QUICK, IT WAS THE BEST NEW THING GOING. WTF….another show canceled. These TV networks are getting horrible, its getting to the point that no one wants to watch a new show due to it has a high chance of being canceled. I really liked the show “Drive.” I agree with many of the people on this site who wrote that they didn’t watch much t.v. and this show was there only outlet to a hard days work. I actually looked forward to this show and didn’t even know it was cancelled until 5 minutes ago when it didn’t come on and reruns of “House” were on…not that that isn’t a good show too but come on already…enough with the medical hero shows!!! “Drive” was different and if you gave it a shot I’m sure it would have performed to your standards…i guess when execs need to make millions, they just can’t handle change too well!!!

WTF??? This is more proof as to why Network telivision will be replaced be the internet. Make quality interesting shows with intricate plots and twists. I would love to know where all this Neilson ratings Bull comes from. A handfull of obviously idiots that only watch reality telivision rule our airways. For me, I suppose my days of watching Network programing are over. Every good show gets cancelled in order to show reruns. Wow, you must be well beyond my mental capacity because I can’t understand. I really got into this show. I watch like 6 shows religously every week and did not want to add any new ones to my list because of my time issues. However, Drive sucked me in!!! I was loving it and they took it away. I honestly did not know that they scrapped it untill today. I just kept checking to see if it was on but I kept finding House instead. I love House but reruns are pointless for almost all shows. Please, if there is any sane person at FOX let this show play out. So what if you cant make it last 7 seasons, cut it back to two or something. How long could this race last anyway?? I just have to know how it ends.

they cancel the good shows, its like they really dont want anybody to watch tv now a days. i will admit i did miss the very first episode but i watched the next one and was hooked. then i hear it got canned? what is that? the only show i watch now on fox is american idol..and once in awhile i will watch the news but american idol is ending soon so i wont be watching fox any longer till the new season of american idol comes back. so by cancelling drive fox lost one more loyal fan for awhile. give it a chance..longer than what it was on and BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I totally agree with the comment about Nanny 911, Trading Spouses etc… those are really lame shows, just when I thought we were going to get off the reality kick and back into TV everything good gets pulled! I loved Justice, The Black Donnellys, Killer Instinct, heck I’m afraid to start watching any new shows that are being advertised for June because they probably will get cut for crap like ” Are you smarter than a 5th grader”?

Looks like all our hopes and dreams for the future of TV have been completely smashed… the big channels are cancelling good, scripted dramas in favor of cheaply made reality TV. I suppose I should have seen this coming- the ‘Meet Your New Mommy’ tagline near about did it- but I didn’t expect for a genuinely interesting show such as Drive could have been taken off the air after a mere four episodes. I heartily support any and all efforts to bring the show back.

However, let’s be rational here. No online petition is going to bring our beloved show back on primetime. No one cares about who signs online petitions, because they’re easy enough to ignore by simply pressing the ‘delete’ key. If we really want Drive back, we need to get our voice heard. Organize a protest group to call the Fox channel headquarters thousands of times a day, all stating reasons to give Drive another chance. Even better, see if you can get the CEO’s private phone number, and leave him messages. If you get enough people to cooperate, eventually they’ll be so annoyed Fox should at least reconsider their decision.

The only reason i got on the internet tonight was to see why drive was not coming on and hoped that FOX moved it to another night. But to my suprise it has been cancelled. I am very dissapointed in FOX for cancelling this show because I thought it was great and me and my wife was really starting to get into it. Drive and Prison Break are the only two shows that I use my DRV for and now I have to wait for Prison Break to come back on. FOX is starting to suck.

The networks are no longer giving the viewer a choice as to which program they wish to watch. Maybe if Fox had given the show a chance it would have been up there with new shows this year, such as Heroes!! Their network stood behind them and gave them the lift they needed. Fox gives up too easily!! You have to invest some to make a lot. Fox take this as a warning. The shows you have on air now are wearing thin and will not last much longer. I mean does anyone really watch the Simpsons anymore. They needed a movie to hit the big screen to get them out of their rut!! Will it work? Who knows! Bart has to grow up one day. Find some new shows and give them at least a season. Jack is not going to be around forever either!! Besides 24 the only show you have that is worth watching now is American Idol. And that is coming to an end soon this season. Wake up Fox!! Let Drive at least finish the season when reruns are being shown.

This show was like crack or meth for me. I was hooked after the first 5 minutes. I hope they bring it back and give it a chance.

I don’t how many of you remember “Party of Five”. It was one of Fox TV’s first television shows. It was cancelled very early on because of low viewership. After a letter writing campaign, Fox brought it back and gave the show a decent chance to build in popularity. It was on for many years after that.

There is hope! We just need to let them know how much we enjoy the show!

At this point begging for the show to be continued seems pointless, yet here I am. I say please to “the powers that be” continue to air the remaining episodes of Drive. So many excellent shows on this network have been axed without warning that we usually do not even bother to watch what is offered. But Drive caught our attention, then after one episode we were happily hooked. Who would have thought that after such a elaborate advertising campaign and flashy debut that Drive would be axed so quickly? What a disgrace to us the viewer, to then the Powers that be who program the network and also to the “numbers people” those unaimed Nielsons who help to make all the idiot fare
possible. Does America really want to watch cheap unscripted reality shows featuring conflict and general emotional problems ? Don’t we have Jerry Springer for that? Why would anyone want to watch a well written,acted interestingly filmed drama when so many cheap reality shows are available. Stupid me.

Last week I saw Drive for the 1st time and I really liked it. Today I’m looking for it and all I see is a rerun of House. Now I find out it’s cancelled. Well that sucks. And because 4.5 million viewers is not enough?? How is House supposed to help. It’s a rerun and even new it never grabbed my attention. How about getting rid of all the crappy “Reality TV shows”.

It’s like they really don’t want me to watch TV anymore. I HATE the reality bullcrap. I had gotten 20 people I know interested in the show. Some are car buffs, others are new show buffs, I mean seriously, I am pretty well done with night time TV now. That was the only show I watched on the three days it was on. You may as well put reruns of Andy Griffith on for all I care. House will never be watched by me or my friends as of this moment. I may boycott Fox as well after this. I honestly wonder if Married with Children had more than 4.5 million viewers on its 3rd show.

I’m sick and tired of getting into a new show only to watch it die before it even gets a chance to catch on. What are these idiot network executives? 8 year olds with ADD? Lose interest after 4 episodes? This is the worst I have seen all 4 networks…EVER!
You mean to tell me that Supernanny, Nanny 911, Wife Swap and Trading Spouses is good TV? Those POS shows hang around way too long and new shows get the can? There used to be a thing called mid-season replacements and now there are is no mid-season. New shows die before they even get started! I DVR a lot of shows and here is another example where I find a show is dead even before I’ve seen the 2nd or 3rd episode. It’s absolutely RIDICULOUS. Is there a way to get through to these “executives”? And where is the logic in replacing a new show’s slot with a rerun or something else? Who would care? Are they expecting the ratings in that slot to increase? They say that Drive was replaced by reruns of House because or low ratings (compared to the other networks). Is airing reruns of House going to improve that? How about finding a new time slot? Here’s an idea….stop the crap reality shows and get some good TV back. And stick with something longer than 4 weeks. RIP Knights of Properity, In Case of Emergency, The Black Donnelleys, Drive, Smith, Six Degrees, The Nine, etc.
