Drive: Petition for the DVD Release of Cancelled FOX Series

Drive on FOXThough FOX’s Drive was cancelled after just four episodes due to low ratings, millions of viewers were left wanting to know how the race turned out. At the very least it would be nice to have the series on DVD.

We, the undersigned, have enjoyed the program Drive and were dismayed that the series ended prematurely. We greatly enjoyed the series and looked forward to not only seeing the storyline concluded but to watching the Drive for future seasons as well.

We ask that you bring Drive to a proper conclusion – at the very least, release the final conclusions of the storylines – and make the series available on DVD. We are convinced that there is still a great market for this show.

    Me and my family enjoyed the series on the night it was aired it was our family night everyone in my family enjoyed it can we get it on dvd please this is the only show i ever known to have it happend to that was not right FOX to do that

    That was a bad idea to cancel a show after three weeks of air time not to mention to try to put a new show in a timeslot that can competes with two reality tv shows that were popular at the time. You could put it in a timeslot or day where you didn't have any real tv shows that is doing well to draw people to the show that why getting more viewers because people will be at home and able to watch the show. Releasing the other show on July 4th was a bad decision because it is a holiday and not many people be watching tv anyways. If you didn't the show to begin with you should of never accepted it on your network and let someone else take it. You starting to make a habit of taking great shows that people love and cancel them because it doesn't meet your standards but these shows are made for the people, not for the wallets. You take care of the people you get money as simple as that. So stop dropping the ball!

    seems like to many great t.v. show ideas get cut so maybe if you had an internet channel for shows like this and firefly and so many more, you could build up a great following before relaunching them on t.v. again.

    I heard about this high-octane, high-stakes series five years after it aired, and am sad that I can not buy the six episodes of Drive on DVD.

    This was a great show, I enjoyed watching Drive. It was a crime it was unfinished and it's worse that the people who love to watch it and want to watch can't. say it with me give the people want they want! PLEASE!

    I was so upset when drive was canceled. i was recruiting so many people to watch the show and everyone loved it. i wish i knew how it all turned out. it would have been awesome to see how everything changed and progressed. i wish they would bring it back or at least put it on DVD.

    I truly love DRIVE (very interesting film script, actors), please make an end! I'm sorry for saying that but I don't understand why good american series are ended like this, this is really stupid, and annoying....

    I still have all the episodes on my DVR. I am getting them moved off onto .AVI files so I can keep them forever. I watch the 6 episodes at least once a year. In my honest opinion I think the reason FOX left the series off on such a cliffhanger is because they wanted to really put a slap in the face of any of the fans that watched this show, especially since the aired the last two on July 4th, the one {bleep}h they knew no one would be watching, just to prove that they had no audience. To this day if I ask someone if they remember Drive they remember it and they comment how they really liked it, So I don't know how they could claim that the ratings were horrible when you don't give a show the time to build its self. Hell they probably wouldn't even care if I released these episodes of mine onto download sites. I have looked for the episodes to buy with no luck, so why would they care?
