It was an unimpressive start for this new series. It was in third place at 8pm and in second place for the remainder of the half hours, beaten by FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance by 29% in the demo. It may be that America is tiring of singing competitions or at least that they’re not ready to embrace another one so soon after the finales of The Voice and American Idol. Perhaps the network would have benefited from waiting a few weeks to premiere this one.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

Love to watch superstars with such good chemistry being so helpful and genuine with contestants. great idea for a talent show. plus we get to see JOHN LEGEND every week performing – WOW!!! excellent show!
I don’t know what’s going on on Duets, but Kelly Clarkson’s singers are being voted d by the other singers so low that they are always in the bottom. Seams to me someone on the panel is jealous of Kelly. Her singers are just as good if not better than Jennifer Nettles. Plus Kelly and her singers are 3 times better than Robin. The last song Robin did was horrible on 5/31/12. If they don’t stop dissing Kelly I’m going to quit watching.
9p.m time slot would of helped too. that might have something to do with them doing better in the rating the second half.

i loved it. it is great hands on advice with other stars. team Jennifer all the way! I think that the judges are good at being unbiased about judging the other performers.
This show is a boring waste of air time!
Started off well with the first duet, then just fell apart after that.

I love the show but dislike the voting system. It seems unfair to have the competing stars to vote for one another.
I loved it. Will watch it (on dvr. I work nights). Was hoping that Lionel Richie would stay on but…. Does America get to vote? I definitely believe Kelly’s partners are much better than those that topped the list. As with other voting shows, I will make it a priority (the morning after) to make my vote count if able.

LOVE THIS SHOW…with the expception..thicke is arrogant and whats up with all those gay remarks, …the ladies are awesome, down to earth, and great, john legend..his name says it all. …smooth, talented, none like him and fine as …..well u know

I read that the public will get to vote in the second half of the season.
Some singers perform much better as soloist than in duo’s especially when with a superstar..I don’t connect with the show..Boring
