It was an unimpressive start for this new series. It was in third place at 8pm and in second place for the remainder of the half hours, beaten by FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance by 29% in the demo. It may be that America is tiring of singing competitions or at least that they’re not ready to embrace another one so soon after the finales of The Voice and American Idol. Perhaps the network would have benefited from waiting a few weeks to premiere this one.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

    Duets should NOT be cancelled.

It was FANTASTIC!!! VERY entertaining. I think ABC should try for a Season 2.

    I sure hope they do.

Duets rocks and Jennifer Nettles owns it. Man that girls can sing anything. Most of all, she’s the only coach the harmonized with her singers and let them shine. Her choice of songs simply blew everyone else out of the water. We need more talent like that to be highlighted and the network would be foolish not to renew this show.

I think “Duets” was an awsome competition. I have a great love for music as many others do. I do not think you can have too much good music. And I have to agree with previou remarks about other shows that are on television. Some are so rediculous but the music you can appreciate.

Are you kidding me, they would rather keep a stupid show on like The Kardasians, Lizard Lick Towing, Real Housewives, or that really stupid Honey Boo Boo show and so many others like that. Its a shame we can’t keep shows on that show people who have made something with their lives mentoring young people who want to have better lives. Its sad how the mentality of our society has gone downhill so far. What a shame, and that’s what the problem is, no one has any shame or morals or dignity or self-respect any more. Any self respecting individual will shun those shows and watch more productive shows like The Voice, Chopped, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol and DUETS and so many more like these. I for one will miss it like everyone else on this page who left a comment.

I loved duets and watched each episode many times. Jennifer Nettle is an amazing singer as is Kelley Clarkson. I learned to really like John Legend. Robin Thicke, not so much.

Duets was my favorite show. I notice the ratings got better each week as people became familiar with it and heard from others how good it was. Love John Legend. Jennifer Nettles is a magnificent singer, and the others were fantastic as well. Please bring back this program. It’s beautiful.

I just loved “Duets” and are very disappointed it will not be renewed. The stars were just wonderful and how they worked with the contests was awesome. The contests were so good and the voices remarkable. With all of the violence in the world today this is such an encouragement to all people young and old. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
