It looks like the magic is over for the three ladies of Eastwick. ABC network has decided against ordering any additional episodes of the supernatural series, effectively cancelling it.
Eastwick revolves around three women (Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman) who meet at a wishing fountain and become friends. Soonafter, mysterious Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) moves to town and unleashes powers within the ladies. The cast also includes Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright.
The show got off to a slow start on September 23rd with a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.5 million total viewers. The second installment fell to a 2.3 in the demo and 6.57 million viewers. The third week fell again to a 1.8 and 5.14 million.

In the weeks that followed, the ratings didn’t get any better and more frequently got worse. Last week, Eastwick hit an all-time low of 1.5 in the demo and 4.4 million.
ABC has opted to pull the show from the schedule for two weeks. This Wednesday, it’s replaced by the Country Music Awards. Next week, it’s being bumped for an interview special called In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson. Though Eastwick is scheduled to return on Thanksgiving eve with a new episode, the supernatural drama won’t be around for long after that.
ABC has decided not to order any additional episodes of Eastwick, effectively cancelling the series after 13 episodes. It’s unknown if the last episode will wrap up the ongoing storylines. For now, ABC plans to air all six remaining installments but, if the ratings keep declining, the network could easily pull the series before that happens.

I agree with all of the above. I had actually just heard about Eastwick shortly before it was cancelled. I loved that show, told all my friends to tune in. They loved!
Wish another nerwork would pick it up, advertise it more & place in a decent time slot & I’m sure it would take off!!!
I’m truly amazed that Cougar Town wasn’t the program that got cancelled, that show sucks!! Also we are all fed up with reality shows, enough already!!!
I really don’t understand this x.x I just heard of this series! Even worse, it was exactly what i was looking for, but wouldn’t you know it? It had already been cancelled.
I don’t suppose i count, seeing as i don’t live in the USA, but still… I might have bought the dvd! bastards… Episode 13 really didn’t help things either. Not very conclusive, is it? Pff.
I have only just seen it and love the show. I’m in the uk and if it was on at a regular time it would be a massive hit I think, but its a bit scattered on times. If another channel like Living picked it up it would be a huge hit!!!! Come on Living TV lets get it on our tv in the UK!!!!!!
i love this show and it seems like it just verly got started and now they’ve cancelled it. at the time i didn’t have cable so i was watching it online….. i just got cable and dvr so i could start recording it while i am at work, and now ive found out that they cancelled it. bring the show back. it has a really great cast and can go a long way,please give it another chance!

Everyone should submits their comments to abc.com. On the very bottom there is a section to contact them. That way our voices can be heard. ABC isn’t looking at this website.

Eastwick was a light, whimsical show with all the exaggerations of funny fiction. I sure miss it among all the crime and explosions. I looked forward to it each week and am so sorry it’s been canceled. I wish that ABC would put it into a different time slot and give us another season.
I really, really liked this show! I am terribly upset at the fact it is cancelled. I know I am just one person but without this show I would never watch abc!! Is there anything that can be done to have it back?
I loved the show, in fact it was my go-to show for wednesday nights. I love watching the show and seeing what happened throughout it. I hate that it was canceled, and now I have no reason to watch anything on ABC. I feel that the television company could have done a better job of advertising to to a larger variety of people, and to listen to what the people who watch the show was saying not and what the critics were saying because they don’t speak for everybody.
