We reported a couple days ago that the critically-lauded but low-rated Pushing Daisies was finally returning to ABC on May 30th. It was suspected that Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money would be back as well and we now have confirmation.
Eli Stone, which stars Jonny Lee Miller, Victor Garber and Natasha Henstridge, was cancelled after two short seasons on the air. The last episode to air, “Two Ministers,” was shown on December 30, 2008. The four remaining episodes will be burned off at 10pm on consecutive Saturday nights; June 20th, June 27th, July 4th, and July 11th. The series finale revolves around Eli having a vision and believing that one of his friends will perish in a plane crash.
Dirty Sexy Money, starring Peter Krause, Donald Sutherland and William Baldwin, was also cancelled after two brief seasons. The most recent installment to be broadcast, “The Organ Donor,” was shown way back on December 17, 2008. Money will take over the Saturday 10pm timeslot from Stone and the four unaired episodes (including the preempted Thanksgiving installment) will run on July 18th, July 25th, August 1st, and August 8th.
The series finale of Money is full of surprises. Simon tells Nick why he hates the Darlings and makes a confession about Nick’s father. Lisa decides to write a tell-all book and Karen embarks on a long-overdue relationship.
The second seasons of both Stone and Money are expected to be released on DVD but the release dates haven’t been announced yet.

I am not a t.v. watcher. However the first time I saw DSM I was hooked and now I am disappointed about it being cancelled. I thought all the actors played their parts to the tee. I am very disappointed with this network! I talked to many people that feel the same way!!!!!
Please don’t cancel Dirty Sexy Money. It was left with a lot of open terrority that still needs to be covered. It is so good! Also I loved Eli Stone. Wish you would think about keeping it. Especially DSM
DSM was a great show! Is there a chance of a movie to at least tie up loose ends?
One of the few shows I watch on your network now I ‘ll just watch more cable shows. If you keep running show like the Bachelor, who by the way never seems to produce a lasting realtionship, viewers like me will keep watching cable.
There are too many loose ends on Dirty, Sexy Money to quit now, we were just about to find out the real ‘bad guy’. I’ve got to see if Nick and Karen make it, and who Simon is really working for or what? Please don’t let us down now! Ditto for Eli Stone.
OH NOOOO! I love this show. It has been one of the best shows…always leaving you wanting more. I can’t believe they cancelled it. Guess there wasn’t enough days on tv DWTS and Dating in the Dark. Too bad…great Drama and just plain good tv.
I still cannot get over Dirty Sexy Money being canceled. It was my absolute favorite show and by far, the best drama I have seen in years…maybe ever. The story lines were always great, the actors were all amazing. How can a show like this be canceled when there is so much crap on tv?? I just don’t get it. Everyone I have gotten to watch it has become a fan. Couldn’t it just get another chance? Maybe move time slots so more people would be aware of it, maybe more advertising? The last episode left viewers wanting, no NEEDING so much more! Pleeeease find a way to bring it back.
PLEASE DON’T CANCEL DIRTY SEXY MONEY AND ELI STONE, I LOVE THOSE SHOWS, I CAN’T BELIEVE YOUR CANCELLING !!!!
I am so sad, loved both those shows and last week’s final episode of Dirty just left me wanting more. Also miss The Unusuals and felt it should NOT have been cancelled. Where have all the good shows gone? They should have been given more of a chance.
DSM & Eli Stone were great shows.
My husband & I love Dirty, Sexy Money! ! It’s hard to understand the ‘garbage” seems to stay & the good shows are cancelled. I am sick of reality shows. This is a show that should truly be brought back. It was great!!
PLEASE BRING BACK DIRTY, SEXY, MONEY! IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST DRAMA SHOWS SINCE DYNASTY. BLAIR UNDERWOOD, DONALD SUTHERLAND, PETER KRAUS AND LUCY LIU, EVERYONE WAS WONDERFUL. BRING BACK DIRTY, SEXY, MONEY. I LOVE THAT SHOW!!!!
Dirty Sexy Money was the best show on ABC. Bring it back!
This was the best show on TV please bring it back
Please bring Dirty Sexy Money back!!! it is such a good show. I can’t believe it has been cancelled. I was getting hopeful when it returned for 4 mor episodes. I think the network had better rethink this one.
