My feeling: really good series have no chance in the today’s world. They are too inteligent and are missing adaquate audience. Wow, how could I???

Anyway, in this case it’s on ABC to try to improve this world. Well, I know, this is not a primary goal of ABC. And again, that’s a problem.

I can’t believe that Eli Stone was cancelled. This was the most uplifting TV show my family and I have watched for a long time, specially the second season. It’s a wonderful family TV show that should be broadcasted at 8:00 PM at least once per week.

DSM was a wonderful show. The acting was wonderful and the cast was great!

ABC has lost me as a viewer along with NBC. All my favorite shows have been canceled and I don’t understand why. First the strike threw all shows into a spin and we the viewers had to wait and then try and relocate our shows.
DSM, Eli Stone, Boston Legal (ABC) Lipstick Jungle (NBC) The Starter Wife were all canceled and were my favorites.
We have rotten reality shows to thank for this!

I really enjoyed this series, Dirty Sexy Money. The storylines and the acting was very well done and enjoyable to watch.
If a ((REAL)) channel like Showtime, HBO or maybe TNT were to see this series is available and that there really was a fan base, maybe they would have the insight to pick this show up and continue it. I know I would be happy as well as a lot of other people too!!!

I am very dissapointed that Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money 2 shows that I really liked are not coming back. I would have missed the last few episodes if I had not had it scheduled to tape on a recurring basis with my DVR. I have to say I am so tired of them cancelling good shows to put on yet another stupid reality tv show.

I can only hope that the idiots that keep cancelling all the shows that I like will go on a permanent vacation and leave my programming alone.

I still cannot get over Dirty Sexy Money being canceled. It was my absolute favorite show and by far, the best drama I have seen in years…maybe ever. The story lines were always great, the actors were all amazing. How can a show like this be canceled when there is so much crap on tv?? I just don’t get it. Everyone I have gotten to watch it has become a fan. Couldn’t it just get another chance? Maybe move time slots so more people would be aware of it, maybe more advertising? The last episode left viewers wanting, no NEEDING so much more! Pleeeease find a way to bring it back.

Cancelling Dirty Sexy Money was so disappointing. It makes me apprehensive about getting started watching any new dramas because they will get cancelled as soon as you wrapped up in them. Dirty, Sexy Money was very good. You did not end it very well, more of a cliff hanger. Please bring it back.

This is the 2nd time in the last year that the ABC Networks have shown their disregard for their viewers with cop-out endings/cancellations. First, it was KYLE XY and now DSM! I”m sure many of us will remember this when it comes to their new programs, along with their advertising!

I wish they would pick it back up, or someone else would, because it was one of the few shows we both enjoyed watching.

I mean, how many reality shows or Cop/Lawyer shows can they put on TV? Its all the same old crap ~ DSM was so different!

What about Cane, with Jimmy Smitts? That show was azaming, well written, and had a strong cast in the roles…What about Joan of Arcadia and The Book of Daniel? Again, well written, smart shows, with strong cast members…I guess people looking to watching intelligently written tv really do need to jump to HBO…So long local channels…hello paid tv…

The reality of pseudo-reality TV has set in and the morons running the studios have screwed up more this year than any time in the past.
The reason many of the shows were canceled was simply the program time. These people think they know what they are doing, but clearly they make huge mistakes over and over with these long breaks when people lose interest in the shows and extremely poor management of potentially long running shows,
Reality my foot. The only real thing about TV these days is CABLE.

I’m so disgusted with all the cancelations of original shows like fringe, heros, eli stone, & kyle xy. I’m done with cop shows and reality shows. Lets face it supernanny, is every kid will be bratty and either they or their parents just deserve a good slap to the head.
the Bachelor is nothing but a bunch of scripted crap of good looking people with no real personality and that is why they are all single. Love dancing shows. Are fun too watch, Idol has its hit or miss seasons. I pay about 80 bucks a month for crappy reality shows and reruns. A lot of your shows are failing because whoever is making the schedules suck. Your reality shows run over and kill shows and instead of keeping a steady week to week schedule you interrupt the season for a month or 2 and then start it up again. By then we moved on to another channel because you interrupted the show with something lame and we didn’t get to see when the show was coming back or we already feel like the other show is loyal to its viewers and we are into their story line. I don’t have tons of time to play with to constantly check the tv guide or go on line and track down each show for its return. Some of us work for a living and will like to click on the channel we want and know that our show will be there for one whole season. ABC has a horrible track record for loyalty to its viewers. I hope another station picks up your shows and you get squat. By the way I’m sick of cop shows and doctor shows. Maybe I should just stick to CBS

As I just posted on another thread, there’s nothing worse than having a show that you invest yourself into watching, getting to know the charachters and then it gets canned for some lame ass replacement (that is duly canclled and the cycle continues).

At least finishing out the storyline is a MINIMUM we should demand from tv stations. So many good shows have been cancelled mid stream, it makes me so mad> I was within a hairs breadth of boycotting ABC about 3 years ago after they cancelled about a dozen dfifferent shows I watched over a couple of years.

I hate all these fake reality shows every thing I like goes away. Boston Legal, Studio 60, Life, Deadwood, Reaper, Eli Stone, Hero’s I guess, I hope Psych, and Always Sunny in Philly make it. Chuck is on the bubble. Scrubs is almost done. Everything else is going I am sure Lie to Me wont make it either. I am sure I leaving out more. I had it great for a while my drv was always full. But now what Jay Leno at 10 all weak long, The ten gilenth lame fake reality show. I know times are hard and Reality shows are cheap, fake but cheap, but will quality shows come back when things get better. Or will it just be fake-reality shows all the time. I am going to have to read more or what?

I too am happy that the last episodes of ELi Stone will be airing, I wish, however, that we didn’t have to wait until June and July too see them. Not to mention, the last episodes are being aired in an unfavorable timeslot which means that the show will not give many new viewers the opportunity to appreciate them. In other words, the Saturday evening timeslot will not attract new viewers to Eli Stone. What a pity.

I am glad Eli Stone, Dirty Sexy Money, and Pushing Daisies will return this summer to wrap up all episodes and then the series finale. This should be a rule for all series to give closure to the fans of these shows. I like this idea: air the remaining episodes for all cancelled series during the summer season. I hope NBC, CBS and FOX will follow their lead as well.
