Revolving around a young medical intern at a prestigious Denver hospital, Emily Owens, MD typically airs Tuesday nights on The CW network. The cast includes Mamie Gummer, Justin Hartley, Aja Naomi King, Kelly McCreary, Harry Lennix, Necar Zadegan, and Michael Rady.

UPDATE: The CW has ordered three additional scripts.

0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.67 million total viewers.
Season average: 0.50 in the demo with 1.67 million.

Compared to last season’s debut of America’s Next Top Model in the same timeslot, the network was down by 44% in the demo (vs a 0.9 rating) and down by 14% in viewership (vs 1.96 million). It was not a good start.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

I was surprised that it turned out to be the only new show that I really liked. Really liked! Initially watched it by accident, now watch it religiously. Will hate to see it go.

I absolutely love this show. I hate to hear this news. I’m in high school and I can totally relate to situations that go on in this show! I want it to be renewed so bad! Better love it while I can

Absolutely love this show. Never watch it on Tuesday’s but always on demand. Should not be cancelled.

Doctors don’t act like high school freshmen-they’re like engineers who have to deal with people. More Doc Martin than Grey’s Anatomy. So happy they put a slug in the head of this insipid, uninspired, and imitative show.

This show should not be cancelled!!! this is a show i can actually watch with my elders whenever we all get together and not have to change the channel when ugly nasty scenes come on!!!! please don’t cancel the show!!!!!

My husband and I love this show!!! It is one of the few shows that is clean enough to watch when my Grandchildren are around!!! Please do not cancel this show. It is great
