Revolving around a young medical intern at a prestigious Denver hospital, Emily Owens, MD typically airs Tuesday nights on The CW network. The cast includes Mamie Gummer, Justin Hartley, Aja Naomi King, Kelly McCreary, Harry Lennix, Necar Zadegan, and Michael Rady.

UPDATE: The CW has ordered three additional scripts.

0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.67 million total viewers.
Season average: 0.50 in the demo with 1.67 million.

Compared to last season’s debut of America’s Next Top Model in the same timeslot, the network was down by 44% in the demo (vs a 0.9 rating) and down by 14% in viewership (vs 1.96 million). It was not a good start.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

I absolutely love this show PLEASE RENEW!!! it is the best medical drama since grey’s anatomy, but its much more light-hearted which is a nice change. Please renew PLEASE!

I watch 2 shows on the CW. This is currently my favorite show on TV. To think that next week will be the last episode makes me sad. How can we change the network’s decision?!?

What a shock when I read that this series was being cancelled. One of the best things this season. What does one do to make the network review or reverse their decision? I’m suee many people share my opinion.
