Revolving around a young medical intern at a prestigious Denver hospital, Emily Owens, MD typically airs Tuesday nights on The CW network. The cast includes Mamie Gummer, Justin Hartley, Aja Naomi King, Kelly McCreary, Harry Lennix, Necar Zadegan, and Michael Rady.

UPDATE: The CW has ordered three additional scripts.

0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.67 million total viewers.
Season average: 0.50 in the demo with 1.67 million.

Compared to last season’s debut of America’s Next Top Model in the same timeslot, the network was down by 44% in the demo (vs a 0.9 rating) and down by 14% in viewership (vs 1.96 million). It was not a good start.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

I think it should be renewed because I find the show amazing incredible and awsome I think it is a perfect show for me because for me I plan on being a doctor there is never gonna be show that I love more than this so please don’t cancel it I really like staying up with my best friend who also loves this show just as.much as I do and she also plans on being a doctor please don’t cancel the show I’m already upset that it was the season finale please doing cancel it please! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m at a loss as where to start…. I really love this show & hate to see it taken off the air & with so many fan sites devoted to keeping it on I’m at a loss as to why ratings are so low! But with the ending last night there are so many places my imagination could go & I’m not even a writer!! So, it’s not to late to bring it back… Please!!

So sad to see this show canceled! It is my favorite so far and every episode was even better than the last! Great cast and writing! Feeling a little empty right about now :-/
