Episodes: Season Three Renewal Expected

Episodes on Showtime

The second season of Matt LeBlanc’s Episodes TV series is still airing on Showtime but there are likely more installments on the way.

At the Television Critics Association summer press tour, Showtime’s entertainment president, David Nevins, said, “I’m expecting Episodes to come back. I think that show is irregular as opposed to some of our other shows… We tend to be a little slower to get them on the air, but my intention is to keep [Episodes] going.”

The five installments of Episodes that have aired so far this year have averaged 380,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in the demo. Viewership is down by about 20% when compared to the first season’s average.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the show? Are you enjoying the second season and looking forward to a third? Or, do you feel it should be cancelled instead?

I adore this show. My husband and I think the writing, acting and production are brilliant. We would be miserable if we couldn’t look forward to “Episodes” on Sundays. PLEASE bring on Season 3!

I love this show! I sure hope it’s picked up.
If not, may as well cancel Showtime from my cable package since Episodes is the only reason I keep Showtime.

I love Episodes. It has become my favorite show on television. I don’t believe there is a better cast than this one. They are all terrific.

Well I remember when they canceled the united states of tara the numbers were a little lower, so obviously if it does get renewed, which I think is big if, that’ll be the last season, most signs point to their show getting canceled.
