i love everwood and all the actors. it would be so great if you could make a 5th series its nice to see a programe without swearing in it but good fun wonderfull drama , best all round programe it will be sadly missed by me and others must love this well writen programe. from nina keates

This was one of my favorite programs. The chemistry that went on with every character was so compelling. I looked forward to every week to see this program. From Dr. Harold’s mom to Andy’s little girl. I sure was hooked on this series. Had a definite Mayberry effect on me.

Everwood should havde not been cancled b/c it is funny and exciting at the same time. I wish that no show would be cancled b/c i just heard that one of my favorite show gilmore girls is going to be cancled. 7th heaven is also going to be cancled too. i hope that they will at least bring everwood or gilmore girls back for a least one more season. hey we can not control this so all we can do is wish and wish that they will come back,but we have no control over it so i quess that we all have to get over it.

My daughter and I hope that you will bring Everwood back and continue the series. It was a very good family show that was decent for everyone to watch without all the trash that is usually on TV. I am not much of a TV watcher but this show really held my attention and gave me the opportunity to watch something with my daughter we both enjoy and look forward to seeing. It helped to give us some quality mother-daughter time each night. Please bring it back for us and all the other morally based families out there! Give us something decent to watch! My daughter misses Ephram!

I think Everwood should of done at least one more season because it is very helpful to us teenagers and teaches us lessons to be a better person.And it is the best show i have seen in YEARS!!! But dumb shows like Kyle XY, Smallville, and Falcon Beach those don’t teach you one thing. So i am very, very, very, very mad because its always the stupid shows that stay on tv. But i still love Everwood even though its not on t.v. anymore!!

It’s a shame that so many good series such as Everwood have been taken off the air, to be replaced by JUNK. This was a show that actually had a decent story line, and was interesting to ALL ages.

I can’t believe that Everwood has been cancelled – I have faithfully turned on the new CW for the past year only to find that it is still now showing. I can’t believe that you cancel one of the finest family oriented shows to keep something like Smallville and One Tree Hill. I watched each of those shows one time and never again. My husband and I faithfully watched Everwood every Monday and now their is nothing left for us to watch but OETA, History Channel, or National Geographic. The other networks are so filled with those stupid reality shows that are all alike and so DULL, if you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. Come on guys, get real and bring back the one show that appealed to every family and every family could relate to. I will keep watching the network to see if you get your senses back or if I indeed have to keep looking for something on another network or just settle for those other channels that offer really boring stuff. Bring back EVERWOOD and soon or you’ll probably continue to lose quality viewers.

the only reason this show didn`t do well is if you are like us in kentucky if you are on dish or direct tv you could not see this show till it came on family channel we have ask for over two years for this local channel and just now got it i`m sure there are others that couldn`t get it either i never even saw it even advertised so if the cw don`t want this great show give it to hallmark or some one that will push it to do good

I live in Belgium but grew up in the UK watching The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie. Along comes a great modern show called Everwood with another fantastic Father figure, morals to learn, hardships to overcome, happiness to be shared…. So why the hell cancel it? Audiences are world wide and Everwood provides me with a taste of home no matter where I live. I would have liked to see the show continue and learn about it’s values which I can integrate into my own life. Treat Williams is totally Andy Brown and everyone’s ideal Dad. Bring it back please?

After they showed the series finale, i was sad.I became so interested in this show.I have never been so interested in a show like i am in Everwood.I think this show deserves another season. I too like so many others have been asking the same question, why cancel such a terrific family oriented show? At the beginning of this posting I noticed one key thing that it was stated that the numbers aren’t there to keep the show going and yet look at the number of posts here in support of keeping the show going the young and older generations approve. Kudos to the show and the people here who support it. Please reconsider the thought process and the viewers thoughts as well.

Everwood is off the air…. I’m 57 years old and am reduced to watching the weather channel….. Everwood was one of the few good shows left. Reading a good book or watching DVD’s of past good shows are becoming our only option. What’s left is junk, trash, and war. I’m a middle school teacher and I don’t know how to combat this kind of influence you are having on our worlds children. Everwood had substance, values, culture, heart….

EVERWOOD AND 7TH HEAVEN are both reality shows. People related to them. I was surprised to go to work and find that many looked forward to the next episodes. When EVERWOOD disappeared no one knew why and we all checked the stations daily. I see by reading the above emails that we are not alone. We all agree they should return EVERWOOD. I also didn’t watch “Everwood” when it was on WB, but found it on ABC Family. I don’t watch much TV, but I did always try to plan so that I could watch it. I am a single male, 39 and loved it! I can’t believe it is cancelled. Please bring it back. I too want to see what happens with all the characters. I don’t think I will ever want it to end, but at least I would get more! Will it be running on any channels again? Please! I hope you listen to all these other people. BRING EVERWOOD BACK!!!

Other than news and financial programs, I really never watch TV shows, but I have to say that I got hooked on Everwood. The quality was excellent and the story lines were very well written. Compared to Everwood, everything else is crap.

You know im going to be honist. I did not watch EVERWOOD while it was on “The WB” but began to watch it when it came on the ABC Family channel. I have to say i really got into it. The show had a really good story line. I am a 21 year old male and that show actually made me cry! I hope you people take some time and talk about this. I took over an hour to read all these letters about EVERWOOD. And i totaly agree. Give me a break Everbody Hates chris! What the heck is that. You Cancel EVERWOOD, And save 7th Heaven. But you move it to SUNDAY? Come on SUNDAY! its always been on mondays. So this is what should happen. Call the EVERWOOD actors back to the set. Tape a sesion and put it on Mondays at 7pm and move 7th Heaven back to monday at 8pm. See what happens i bet there will be alot of happy people. Oh and cancel those crapy shows that your wasting your money on like Everbody Hates Chris. And One tree hill I cant stand those shows they are garbage! So do the right thing and do what we the people want and bring EVERWOOD back!!!!

I just got into Everwood by watching ABC Family. And I have to say…that show is one of the best. They left the last episode with Andy perposing. So… I’m left with what next? PLEASE bring back Everwood! We just found this show on the Family channel this fall and LOVE it! This is quality viewing for the whole family. Even my husband got into it. I just read all of the posts here, and I gather this was a show that ran on the WB, which we never got here. So it is all new to us! The airing on the Family channel were reruns I take it, so why not run all of the seasons at least?

The producers need to understand that there a lot of people who really enjoy Everwood, and Instead of the same reality shows, they produced every single year (with the same thing), they should leave some open space for shows like Everwood.

I am so upset about Everwood. I have never missed one episode. I had just started getting my boyfriend into it and even he thinks that it was a great show. We tuned in at 6:00 as usual to watch our FAVORITE and ONLY show that we REALLY enjoy and to our surprise, it is not on tonight or anytime this week. I had no idea that it was being cancelled. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE continue making the EVERWOOD SERIES. This is the BEST show that we have ever watched. PLEASE take of some of the other shows like Lincoln Heights and Smallville. EVERWOOD is SO much better than those t.v. series. We are SO disappointed and we may cancel our cable. I am so tired of them cancelling our favorite shows. EVERWOOD and then Seventh Heaven. I think that they should make a new series of that show too, but EVERWOOD is the BEST. Please reconsider.

I am a young person and yess I LOVE everwood. ever since it came on ABC family i think it got a second chance because so many more viewers came like me! Why in the world would you cancel Everwood?? Everwood is much closer to reality than America’s Next Top Model, Smallville or even The Gilmore Girls. People want a show that they can relate to, why do you think those reality series are so popular?? Everwood actually displays the struggle between family members, and that a relationship with the opposite sex is more complex than those fairy tale romances in all of the rest of our tv shows and movie productions. The characters are not static like all of the other shows. The actually feel different emotions! Come on, Everwood is one of the greatest shows ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

boy what a huge mistake to take everwood off the air. this was a wonderful show. i would record this show if i couldn’t get to watch it and this gave my son and i time together. neither one of us would watch this show unless we were together. we have watched just about every episode, we may have missed taping one or two and that is it. this was excellent bonding time with my son. we would talk about what was going in the show and the right and wrong things. man, what a HUGE HUGE mistake. that lincoln heights that is airing now is just ANOTHER COP show. i believe you can get too many cop shows on and the nice family shows alway seem to go off the air. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, bring everwood back on for another season.

I was and still am very upset, that the CW canceled Everwood. The cra[p thats on the new CW really isn’t worth watching anymore, Gilmore girls has taken on such an odd twist I don’t typically watch it, as for there new lineup its not really in anyones best interest to follow this channel, except for CW..
I have now switched from the CW to USA as there lineup has more to offer..
As for this new CW it must have lost alot of viewers, I have checked how many blogs there are on canceling Everwood and it is truely amazing.. Bring it back and I may rethink watching this CW channel, though my voice to be sure carrys little to no weight to it..
Never hurts to try though..

If ever wood were an r rated or filthy cursing all through it, people would be marching in the streets demanding it stay on the air . but if it supports morals and the rights of decent folk then it gets canned before its ever given a chance . Christians are not supposed to be able to watch clean t.v.but its like our pastor before he went to heven said television is the DEVEL’S tool and so it proves to be correct dosent it . well i for one will no longer support any oy your trash that you air . so why dont you just pull the plug on your broadcast and we all will be better off

scheduling of reruns this past season I first ” found ” Everwood as I waited for my beloved Gimore Girls ( having somehow missed both shows on prime time ) ! In the midst of passing-time and not-really-paying-attention the FIRST episode of Everwood caught my attention and I was HOOKED . From that day on I attempted to plan my day so as to fit in my daily dose of Everwood . I found myself talking about plot lines and emotional/moral issues with friends . This experience had occurred before only when I ” found ” the Gilmore Girls !

I am NOT usually the type to plan my day around my TV viewing – the reason I had never even heard of these wonderful shows ! But I really think both the Gilmore Girls ( BEFORE the loss of its’original writors/producers ) and Evermore are worthy of planning ! In both I find a RARE combination of honest and thought-producing writing , strong age-appropriate acting , good energy between actors and beautiful photography , in addition to a sense of humour and unexpectedness .

I will be so sad to lose Evermore ( especially when so much is left unfinished – like stopping a good book right in the middle ) . I feel like I already lost the Gilmore Girls even though they are still supposedly there – they just don’t seem like themselves anymore !

Maybe there is another good show out there that I haven’t yet ” found ” ? ? ? Please let me know if you have any ideas to fill this void !

hi, im going to start by saying the thing that everyone on this thing has been saying. i cant believe u cancelled everwood. it was such a great show, so much better than most of the other ones. like, 7th heaven? smallville? one tree hill? everwood was 10 times better than all those shows. and id like to say that im not a 40 year old mom or a 60 year old grandmother or something. im 14, and i LOOOOVE that show. it was something that my whole family would watch every monday and it was something evryone liked. and the way it ended was horrible. every body got what they wanted, like THAT. ephram got amy, dr brown got nina…and thats all good and all, but it ahppened so fast, like the last couple episodes there was all of these problems, then the next week it gets solved, and everythings just great. it made it seem really unrealistic. but yeah, anyways, thats what i have to say.

I watched everwood from the day it started. I connected with not only the young love aspect, but the harsh reality of cancer in my life. This show helped me through some tough times the past few years. People never fully understand what it means when a show like this really touches your life, please rethink your decision people like me need a little hope in their life. thank you

EVERWOOD NEEDS TO RETURN!!! I’ve been watching reruns on ABC family and I LOVE THIS SHOW! It is a great show with a wonderful cast. How can you leave all of the fans hanging! Just four seasons, thats not enough!!!!! You really should reconsider not doing another season.

EVERWOOD MUST RETURN! I lead a very busy life style, and I didn’t even know Everwood was a TV series until they started airing the reruns on ABC Family, and now I never miss a re-run! This is truly my favorite TV show that I have ever watched! I was a huge Gilmore Girls fan, but Everwood I do believe ranks above them in my heart now! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!

I absolutely love Everwood…a good family show to watch. It is no wonder our society is getting the way it is….the only thing anyone can watch on TV is smut and crime.

I wasnt a huge Everwood fan but I did get to see a few episodes. I wasn’t aware of the show being cancelled until I started wondering what happened to a couple of the WB shows and several of UPNs shows.

Even though I thought 7th Heaven was reaching a dead end when they added several new characters, that werent family, living in the house and Lucy marring the cop, I still thought it and Everwood were much more worthy of staying on the air than One Tree Hill and the ghost chasing show thats only on because the two guys that star attract the teeny boppers.

Everwood was well thought out. The characters, the stories. It was all well done. T.V. shows and movies now-a-days lack realism. Is that a word? One Tree Hill’s teen characters lack realism. The situations they seem to be put in seem to be missing something.

But thats television for you. The exec’s arent always going to choose wholesome television shows when they know pretty faces will get the ratings, even if the show is less impressive.

I think that you guys SHOULD NOT cancel Everwood. I think it is too much of a entertaining show and if you cancel it many fans will be disapointed. At least bump other unpopular shows like “One tree hill” and “Veronica Mars” It would be a bad choice to just leave all Everwood fans hanging.

I think everwood shouldn’t be cancelled. Everwood is my favorite show and many of my friends as well. I think other shows should be cancelled instead. I also have a question. If there will be another season.. will they be able to be bought on DVD?

I am truely disapointed that Everwood was cancelled. I realize that TV is targeted towards a particular age group, and that maybe this “clean” show can’t compete with the problems that are aired on the other shows, but it was clean enough for my 6 year old daughter to be able to watch. I am glad that 7th Heaven wasn’t cancelled, but it’s not too late to bring it back on. Bump Veronica Mars or even Gilmore Girls.

You know, it’s not too late to bring Everwood back. One Tree Hill’s ratings have dropped, and it’s still on the air. The mistake can still be corrected. Bring Everwood back—7th Heaven came back, and that was a good decision. At least there is SOMETHING decent to watch on TV nowadays. At least make a movie or something. Don’t just leave us all hanging.

Man i wish this show was still going it should be renewed especialy because it is now airing on ABC family wich will get more people intrested lke it did for smallville gilmore girls and 7th heaven also i have see hundreds maybe thousands of people mad that it has been cancled and NOONE who is glad to see its back EVERWOOD should be given a fighting chance for at least one more season to tie up lose ends! Its not fair to leave us off like this!!!
