I’m saddened by the show’s cancellation. It’s one of the few shows I enjoy watching with my kids besides SEINFELD. (Thank God for syndication)

I thought Chris Rock and his co-creators gave us a great run of 4 seasons. I thought the show was smartly written and gave parents and their children something to look forward to.

Finally, I think it’s inaccurate to say that the viewing audience dropped off when the networks decide to switch the time slots at random so that same dedicated audience can’t find it. I think that was a major factor that probably undermined any chance of a fifth season.

Overall, Thank you, Chris, for giving us the gift of a great show. As a filmmaker and Television enthusiast, I am forever inspired! The kids will find all 4 seasons under the Christmas tree this year.

I love that show me and my brother sit down every friday night to watched it. And all thier other show are crap why do they always take off the good shows it was very stupid of them to do that now because they lost a lot of people. Then they wonder where their rateings went. Iwill no longer watched cw everagain. because who wants to watch a show about pms white girl looking to get back with each other that cant act any way.

im sry but i cant hold this in any longer. the cw network has taken off all the black shows. and top model does not count. i am extremly disappointed and i will no longer watch the channel. ive seen three great shows live the network and i always looked forward to watching them on friday night after a long week. first Girlfriends, then The Game, now Everybody Hates Chris! ugh this is so wrong. really sad to see the LAST black show on the network go. says alot about the network.

Definately disapointing! I can say my family and I have truly enjoyed this show. Why do all of the good ones have to go. Becoming very unamused and truly displeased with the CW! I will NOT replace my viewing time of the show with another unworthy series….and there are too, too many of those!!!

I watched all 4 seasons I am honestly disapointed the show ended they way it did, I want to see more it is funny and it is cool that Chris would do a real life comedy about his life. I can only hope chris will go forward by new making episodes and putting them on dvds or on nick at night, and the only reason they were not getting much veiwers was because the shows were on late at night and the channel make a huge differance, not everyone has cw the show should had been on a local channel that has been around for a long time and local channels everyone has.

I’m from Greece and I managed to get a glimpse of the show during a flight and I have to say I was hooked! I found all the episodes from season 1 -season 4 and I watched them all only in a few days time.I was really looking forward series 5 ….the end of the show was not very satisfying.I cannot believe a funny tv show like that was cancelled!

Man why did they have to cancel it? It was for the best though. Even though it was a really good show if they made season 5 it would just show Chris starting to be a comedian and that might be boring. But still, they could have added a few more episodes and not leave us hanging like that. *sigh*

This is really a shame. This was one of the better comedies out there – along with My Name Is Earl. I guess that CW is targetting younger people, for they probably feel they can’t identify with all the 1980’s material, culture, fashion, music, etc.

We really loved Everybody Hates Chris. We watched it every week…and we are white, middle aged without kids. It was entertaining and funny. We are sad it’s gone…but good for Rock getting to do it his own way. He was so underused on SNL…they should be kicking themselves. Rock has a documentary coming out this fall…I’ll definitely going to be watching. I think he’s the stand-up funniest comedian in the US.

I too am sorry the show has been cancelled. I guess it was too “clean”. The only shows that seem to last now are the ones that are riddled with sexual undertones (and overtones). It brought back memories of a more wholesome time.

It’s sad that CW has cancelled this show. When I saw that they moved it to Friday nights, I knew something was going to happen. I swear, Friday night is the kiss of death for tv shows. I enjoyed this sitcom and sadly, I won’t be watching the CW because there is nothing that interests me on their primetime shows.

That’s one of best series that i saw. Smart, funny, very real and true.
Would be interesting more episodes or a movie to explain what’s happened after finale of season 4.

Great show! I was always watched it on the internet though, due to the very very bad time slot it was given. CW, what the hell were you thinking? Okay, I’m officially not a CW fan anymore. I just read in the responses Chris Rock and The Game are axed! What!!! Is TV not for minorities anymore. I only watch a few shows on television and there’s only a few for us to choose from. It was so relaxing to watch both of these shows. In these days we need some laughter! I feared when the shows were moved to Friday nights that would happen. Most teens are at high school activities on Fridays! Duh! Of course the ratings would drop for that main reason!

I truely loved it just recently i went camping and took all 4 seasons with me i watcha all of them in 2 days and got to know alot more about the carrachters on and off the set its sad not to see them working together again it was truely my best comedy show
..But going to miss it so much :’(

Everybody hates chris has been cancelled, well because (similar to Chris Rock’s life) he dropped out of high school and started to become a comedian. If they returned for season 5, it could have been exploring the stand up comedian thingy……..

i am so disappointes with the end of the show!
i’m from israel and i have watched all the seasons without exceptional.
it seemed to me obious that the last episode of the season won’t be the last episode of “everybody hates chris”
the fan in israel to the show is huge!
it was one of the best sitcoms iv’e ever seen.
i wish that even though they already decided to end the show’ there wiil be season 5

Upset…..the finale given was not fair to the fans. The creators should’ve put their emotions aside and should have applied due diligence to the finale. Even though the show was not returning for another season. The show did not end on a great note. Everybody Hate Chris was overall a great show, but the finale sucked.
