This show was one of the last real shows on TV. Even the quirky hyperbolic type scenes (such as Kill Moves driving a the Back to the Future car) catches the nostalgia of thought for that moment in time. It always takes me back to Brooklyn (when I use to visit my cousins in the summer in Bed-Stuy). I watch it everyday regardless (I have the whole series on DVD), but I think that it could teach this new generation the value of family, hard work & not giving up (even when the chips seem to all fall down). The respect that the kids had for their parents is something for these kids to emulate. It’s so much that I could say about this show & the man Chris Rock, but I think that his true genius is often overlooked, because he can present it in a way to make you laugh; if we really look at what’s being conveyed by Chris Rock, it’s more than enough to make you think…

I REALLY wish this show came back!! my whole family LOVED every episode… they were so funny! also, i have never seen the last episode of this because out of all the episodes they play over and over, they never play the last episode! at least let that one play!

Here in Brazil, everybody loves the serie. I can’t understand why they cancelled the sitcom, it’s a real shame for who is responsable for that. At least they should give it a proper ending, explain the story. If they’re not interest in recording another season, write what happen next. The fans of the serie deserve it, we’re very curious about what happens to Julius, I heard that he died. And if this is true, how the Rocks made to survive without his two jobs.

I’m not surprised. How long do BLACK tv shows last?
Im really gonna miss Tichina Arnold’s performance. She’s a great actress and I feel she made the show. Oh well, at least we got the DVD’s! all good things come to an end.

I agree, i don’t know why you people have to cancel the only movie you get right. The same way I heard Kyle XY, was canceled, now there is no fifth season to everybody hates Chris. I think this is no right, stop canceling movies that people enjoy, if you want to end it, then end it not cancel it at the middle of the story.

man i really don’t see y you guys are cancelling the because of that ending in the Chinese restaurant. Plus even if the new season would start with him in collage put the whole crew. Chris’s family, Greg, and even Tasha there where they hook up again if they did or a back-story to y they’re not together. Maybe also Caruso. but at least an proper ending into Chris’s carrier and Drew and Tonya’s to but that my opinion.

I loveeeee this show!.. like i swear it completes my life.. i dont go 1 day without watchin this show.. Why woud anybody want to cancled this show. And what makes me mad is cause you see chris and his family at the diner and he gets the envelop opens it and then the tv goes blank.. like that episode hade me on my toes. Yall should really start a new season cause the ending makes it seem like there will be another episode.. HOPEFULLY there will be another episode.

I dont understand..
The white man with the shades in the finale episodes. why is he looking so sceptic and WHY is Chris looking at him like that?

It doesn’t make any sense.. Even tho’ I would love if there would come a season 5, i’m just happy that it ended as a finale with everything from before was now clear and he dropped out of school. which means that season 5 would be about his career becoming a comedian, but that story we already know of, if not – you can read about it on Wikipedia

I love the actors in the sitcom… Perfectly casted and they “kling” very good together!

What a shame that there aren’t any more series.. What to do now!! lol

This is a fantastic family show. My dad, sister and I used to watch this every night at 8 p.m. It was funny to see the comparisons to real families and then be able to laugh at ourselves when certain similar situations showed up. Bring it back, it’s great!

This end is not even close of “it might not be a bad way to go”, this is not a season finale. The season 4 ends giving to us (the fans), a hope of have one more season with a “real” end. So, Everybody Hates Chris is famous on a lot of parts of the world, here where i live everyone (is the truth) know about it and the truth is the fans are not satisfied with this end, we want a real season finale, so give it to us. ^^

this show is incredibly funny. it’s smart, and very original at it’s approach to make you laugh. this show to me is up there in great sitcoms, it’s sad that it wasn’t given its proper due. fans deserve a season 5 as this show is truly a gem. chris rock is a genius.

I definitely would love to see a a few more seasons especially because I was late getting to watch the show. I just started watching in on syndication and I cannot get enough of this show. I actually laugh out loud not just lol , to me that is rare, so I would love to see the show picked up on another network they did it for Futuroma. Yes I’m aware it is animated, but you get my point.

i like everyone else in this world… do not think that it should have been cancelled because the show was going somewhere i am just a young kid but it… doesn’t matter the show had a basic story about a boy in his teenage years having problems and making due with what he has it is funnier than any other comdey I have ever seen…. this show made want to become a comdien when I am older… CHRIS ROCK IS THE B to the OMB

Everybody hates Chris is a great show, It definately deseres to be carried on as I enjoy watching the episodes a lot. I would be very disappointed if they did not carry on as I think the show has the potential to be very popular and some people that don’t watch it would have the chance to if they broadcasted it on a more wide variety of channels.
