Extreme Weight Loss: Season Four Ratings

Extreme Weight Loss TV show ratingsThe first season of Extreme Weight Loss (called Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition at the time) did very well for ABC but the past two seasons have performed pretty poorly in the ratings. Will this be the final season of the show? Will it be cancelled or renewed for a fifth season? Stay tuned.

On Extreme Weight Loss, trainer Chris Powell helps obese people lose massive amounts of weight through healthy diets and exercise. The goal is for the participants to safely lose half of their body weight over the course of a year.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. I like watching Chris Powell show, I believe it should be renewed for another season. I would like my cousin to be on his show, he’s obese, he has had health problems, and I think he should loss a few pounds and get healthy. His name is Dan Brokke he lives in South Point, Ohio and he is a principal in Huntington, W.V. I believe Chris could help him out. I also like the tips that Chris and his wife give on the show.

I like this show a lot and glad to see it continue. I like the 2-hour format. It’s not too long for me. It allows for more character development of the person featured in each episode. Very inspiring!

This is the most amazing show ; every week. Sure it’s a little long, and would improve by making it an hour and a half. Too much repeating. But you can’t argue with the power of Chris and how he handles the participants. It will do so much for your heart and maybe even your weight.
