Famous in 12 on The CWThe CW has announced that new reality show Famous in 12 will premiere on Tuesday, June 3rd, and will air for 12 weeks. It’s described as “a unique social experiment that tracks the lives of one determined family as they move to the entertainment capital of the world.”

Here are the details:

LET THE FAME GAME BEGIN! “FAMOUS IN 12″ PREMIERES TUESDAY, JUNE 3 ON THE CW

March 13, 2014 (Burbank, CA) – FAMOUS IN 12, the new unscripted series/social experiment that will film one fame-seeking family around the clock for 12 weeks straight, will premiere on Tuesday, June 3 (8:00-9:00pm ET), it was announced today by The CW Network.

FAMOUS IN 12 is a unique social experiment that tracks the lives of one determined family as they move to the entertainment capital of the world – Los Angeles – and pull back the curtain to reveal how the fame machine operates.

The family will be guided by the TMZ machine, which will create a series of opportunities for them. TMZ and Harvey Levin will help, and additional experts will be brought in throughout the course of the series to provide input and guidance on the path to fame, but it is up to the family to pull it off. Throughout their 12-week quest, the family will circulate through some of Los Angeles’ most populated – and popular – venues in order to seize opportunities that might come calling.

Family members will also utilize all forms of social media to wage a “fame campaign.” They will be constantly tracked via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube to build their social media profiles. This information will be analyzed by the show’s “Star Power Meter” each week to determine the standing of the individual family members. This real time approach to the show will enable the audience and family members to interact in a new way – fans will be directly affecting story and cast behavior week to week.

Executive produced by David Garfinkle (“Naked and Afraid”), Jay Renfroe (“Naked and Afraid”) and Harvey Levin (“TMZ”), FAMOUS IN 12 is from Renegade 83 and Harvey Levin Productions in association with Warner Horizon Television and Telepictures.

What do you think? Do you plan on watching this new summer series?

1. For the Model go out and get some training by working with someone to bring your talent out as a model.2. The singer you need some more voice lesson and for the right person to be honest with you about your singing. 3. The Dancer please stop feeling sorry for yourself because of your color there are many people in the business world have made it, next please come down on your attitude because to me you are a little too smart out of your mouth and jump the gun to fast. For Mother the writer keep your dream alive but try to get a little more control over the girls by giving them solid advice with helping them to make it in the world and Daddy don’t you think that you are a little to old to be a D.J now!

I watched the show today minutes ago. What is the mother’s name?
She is more interesting than the daughters and she is the hottest. I would love seeing her in porno movies!

I am a fan of reality TV and against my better judgement, I gave this one a shot. The concept is terrible and the show was absolutely horrible. Like Grandizer said…paying ‘famous’ people to ‘run into them’. It was bad all around. Will definitely not watch this again nor any similar shows. And I truly hope this entire family fades back into oblivion that is Beaumont.

I will not watch this show, and I will be giving up the shows I currently watch on the CW if this is the type of garbage they plan to air.

I will miss Supernatural, The 100, Reign, and The Originals, but I refuse to give support to any network taking part in this debacle. I am a regular tmz reader, but I have just made my last post there because of this nonsense.

The type of parent who is willing to whore their children for fame and money is not a parent at all, and I won’t support lousy parenting. I have used this username on tmz for years because of how many ridiculously pro Kardashian stories done on the site. This name is the one Harvey Levin would adopt were he welcomed into the Kardashian klan. I don’t watch the Kardashians, and I won’t watch this newest fake family. There are rumors circulating that they aren’t even related to one another, but I couldn’t be bothered to research it because I couldn’t care less if they are or are not related.

So I am sending a break up email to the CW. I will miss Castiel, the Winchesters, and Klaus most of all.

Does NOT interest me in the least – a Reality Show, regardless of the channel it’s on, is still just a Reality Show and is basically just non-sense. Dumbs you down!!

I do not watch reality shows
I watch tv alot and mostly on CW
Beauty and the Beast has been the best love story in a long time
I think Intelligent is like it but not as good.
I think if you cancel Beauty and the Beast you will be making a big mistake
Why can we not have at least one more year of just Kat and Vincent being together solving crimes which they do better than anyone else and being in love with no one else but themselves.
Intelligent is a very popular and Beauty and the Beast can be just as popular
I know it is on a different network but it is not as good as Beauty because it only solves crimes and no love interest.

Does not seem interesting to me. Just means that TMZ will pay some stars to “happen” to bump into these wannabees and try to boost their ratings. I can already see the coming attractions they will use for the next weeks episode. Blah Blah Blah goes to the #1 eatery and while there you won’t believe who he meets, a black circle will surround the celebrities head so you can’t figure them out…
I am not interested in seeing people who can not make it themselves be helped into making it.
