Firefly was and is unequivocally the best series I have seen to date. The characters were worth watching, even if individually they were not exactly the role models for a perfect society, and were certainly better in both morals and behavior than the dribbled excuses for reality shows that saturate the airwaves at present. The show was denied even a fair chance at survival, with its schedule changes, airing order, etc., and yet still managed to evoke such a strong following that it managed to produce a major motion picture. Even if only for a TV movie, the ‘verse deserves at least one last hurrah, if not a relight of that glorious home we call Serenity for many stories to come. . .

Truly the best television show. Such depth and complexity. Such a sad thing the network couldn’t keep it. At least serenity will soar on through the years with the millions of fans supporting her.

It’s been several years now since the crushing murder of this brilliant and underrated series and I still miss it . I wish the networks would get their stuff together and STOP trashing such amazing shows! Not every viewer is a brainless drone, and we need to have more intelligent programming that is also fun to watch! Get your act together exec’s!!
