DeJaVu — Like so many of the posters before me, my wife and I just finished watching season one on Netflix. We actually watched the first half of the season over a year ago on Hulu, but technical difficulties prevented us from being able to finish it. Once it was available again to us (this time on Netflix) we both jumped at the chance to start over from scratch and watch the whole thing start to finish this time. What a MAJOR disappointment to arrive at the end, only to find out it was never finished. The biggest surprise of all is to see that this discussion thread continues to thrive AFTER MORE THAN A YEAR AND A HALF, with many, many new postss in recent weeks!

Flash Forward is an awesome show and i watched it on abc and also on netflix so i could watch the full season all the way through. THIS SHOW IS A HIT, ABC IS RETARDED FOR PULLING THE PLUG!!!!!!! I was so looking FORWARD to a new season. I really wish abc would bring it back for another go round. I personally think airing more than one episode a week would help pull a bigger fan base.

I’m going to echo the above comments. My wife and I started watching this show on Netflix last Saturday. We just finished episode 19. We watched 19 episodes in 6 days. This show is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Strange thing about all of this is that I never saw one promo or trailer about the show. I don’t know who did the promoting but they should join the other 8+ million people on unemployment. If I were ABC I’d do two things. The first is to either begin Season 2 OR make a 2 hour finale for the show. Like the folks said above, don’t leave us hanging. Secondly, I think I’d have the person in promotion undergo a security investigation. It’s very likely they could be a mole for a competing network.

Dont know if anyone from ABC will actually read any of these, but I too just finished watching all 22 episodes of FlashForward on Netflix. I watched them all in 6 days. Thats how hooked I was. The writers and director went way too far to quick. You can easyly get another season or two of high ratings if done correctly and marketed.

Its a shame since the finale left so much more on the table.

I’m not surprised by all the crap that’s on TV these days (i.e. all the scripted ‘reality’ shows) that they have to remove quality shows to make room for more reality. They need a reality show on the inner workings of the networks’ decision processes used to axe shows people really want to see. I would have said it would be appropriate for the Sci -Fi network (sorry SyFy doesn’t work for me), but they don’t have room with all the ghost (both domestic AND international) and wrestling (another ‘reality’ series) shows on 24/7.

Thanks for bringing on a show worth watching then pulling the plug on it …. I was looking forward to the next season but guess thats not happening . Not everyone likes the fake “reality ” shows that have seem to taken over television . I guess Jersey Shore and Snooky whoever gets better ratings . Too bad for the ones that enjoy a good thriller or suspense series .

FlashForward definitely should have had a second season. I just picked it up on Hulu and I find it to be a fascinating show. When one episode finishes I am “compelled” to watch the next one (LOL). It had all the intensity of 24. Too bad it didn’t make it to season two.

As usual another good sci-fi show had the plug pulled. I would wait all week just to see what was going to happen next. You don’t find that many kind of shows on tv any more. It defintely deserved a chance at a 2nd season.

well, I liked it, and watched season 1 in one sitting on netflix, in my opinion the best way to watch without the bunk commercials mainstream media has and their commercials are all the same it does not matter which station you tune into, they are just the same old crappy corporations…. Yeah I know the story Greed, if they can’t make millions they are crying.
but you got to love netflix.
I don’t need cable tv nor the sorry bunch called networks, Internet is all I tune into now.
Good luck making millions or billions in the near future.

It’s a great serie, there will be no season two though. They say it was cancelled due to low rattings but i believe it’s not true; someday we will certainly know the real factors, i think Flash Forward disturbed many people in real secret society and they won’t let any broadcating channel air it !

Just watched it all on netflix in two days. This was amazing, bring it back for season two. This could easily become the Star Trek of our generation, canceled after a short run because of poor initial ratings only to come back and become iconic for decades. Give this show the shot it deserves.

I saw the season and to me and all of my friends it was great loved the story and the characters all of them even the bad ones and it really could go one and on and on for a lot of seasons
too bad they only pulled it out because of ratings some not every body can rate it or know where and let me tell you and i hope abc get my words here in the middle east every forum considered the show a blockbuster and in some sites it was suggested to be the no.1 show of it’s time so if you care to risk go ahead and make season 2 and I’m sure you’re gonna do it just perfect

I’m not able to watch series TV shows on a regular bases. So, I signed up for netflix. I just finished watching the first season of Flashforward and “LOVED IT”. Was all excited to watch season 2. To my dismay I find this show canceled. It seems to me that abc canceled way too many very good shows. Don’t they understand that the real viewing audience fan isn’t the couch potato, or some who just has the TV on for noise. But those of us who record, use On demand or Netflix. These fans actually watch the programs and appreciate the sponsors who bring us this kind of entertainment. The writers of this show have the right idea and it is a shame that they can just go ahead and produce they shows that create and sell the DVD’s with the networks. If that happens the networks won’t have to worry about ratings, and sponsors won’t have to worrry about advertising.

I found FlashForward on Netflix and amazed at how good this series was. It had all the right elements for success, great cast, story line but maybe just not the correct release timing. I am not sure why it was not a hugh hit? But maybe being at the right time and evening who knows? I would love to see it again and to be continued for more cliffhanger thrills. I’m sure your writters can create another virtual reality for this remarkable story to continue. ABC really dropped the ball with this series. What a big loss for ABC and it’s viewers.

I just finished watching FastForward and can NOT believe there isn’t a season 2, yet there is a ridiculous amount of BIG BROTHER Reality seasons…. ABC took a hit off the air which could have rebounded their lower ratings as a network…I guess that is why ABC is a lower network…poor decisions for shows….
Any writer of FastForward….any producer…anyone should take it to another network and let that network reap the rewards of a spectacular series.

HATE REALITY TV SHOWS several family and friends share the same dissatisfaction with all these REALIATY TV SHOWS that just air is just a waste of time that cannot get back. directors, writers are very much needed. Sad but true, i never watched Flash Forward when it aired in 2009….but ran across it on a tv listing on Hulu……ABC made a mistake by not shooting more programs of the serious….it may not have made it on tv but sold as a sifi program package, of several seasons could have brought the tons of money….people today don’t want to wait to get there fix week after week….i love this show….never heard of it until two weeks ago when i happen to run into it looking for something exciting to watch on my computer….to my surprise this was fantantsic!…i spent two days non stop watching every one of the different shows!!….I am going to buy all the eps…21 i believe this show was CBS? ABC? biggest mistake to don’t pick up for another season!!

My husband and I fell in love with this show! My brother-in-law suggested that we watch it when he saw it on our netflix, so we did. Now we’re dying to know what happened. I agree with other comments, this show was not marketed enough. I didn’t know anything about this show and I primarily watch the ABC network. It has everything a great TV show needs and I really think ABC needs to rethink their decision on this, especially now that people are able to watch it on Netflix! It gave the show that extra boost that it needed and I’m sure so many viewers would be delighted to see it come back!! PLEASE someone take this show on, with all the same actors and actresses as well. Make this show happen like it was suppose to!!
