Fringe: Win Season Two of the FOX TV Show on DVD!

Fringe season twoFringe premiered in August 2008 on FOX. Series creators J.J. Abrams, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman present the story of the Boston-based “Fringe Division” of the FBI. The team’s mission is to use unorthodox scientific methods in order to uncover and explain strange occurrences.

Special Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) is joined by scientist Walter Bishop (John Noble) and his adventurous son Peter (Joshua Jackson) in uncovering the genesis of mutants, strange diseases, psychic phenomena, shape shifters, teleportation, and more. Others in the cast include Lance Reddick, Kirk Acevedo, Blair Brown, and Jasika Nicole.

The New York Times wrote that season two is “the most satisfying, coherent story arc of any science-fiction-flavored primetime drama.” Centering around an alternate universe, Walter crosses over to save Peter and his efforts create a dangerous threat to both universes. Olivia, Peter and Walter race against time, space and cryonic heads, belly-dwelling beasts and people who turn to ashes before our eyes. The result is a mind-bending investigation of a parallel reality that threatens to destroy our own.

Season two of Fringe has just been released on DVD and all 22 episodes are included on the six discs. In addition, there’s commentary on four episodes, unaired scenes, a gag reel, and featurettes like The Unearthed Episode, The Mythology of Fringe, In the Lab with Jon Noble and Prop Master Rob Smith, and Fringe: Analyzing the Scene Sidebars on Six Key Episodes.

Fringe is the best, most mindboggling show on the TV right now. Reminiscient of The X-Files.

Walter Bishop. Even though you experimented on human beings and stole your alternate’s child from an alternate universe, you are still one of my favorite characters on television
