Fuller House arrived on Netflix on Friday, and it appears to be a huge success. The series was a trending topic over the weekend, and now fans are waiting for word on season two of the series.
Reviews for the revival have not been all that great, but Jeff Franklin is not at all worried about the critics. He knows people wanted this revival, and it looks like they want even more of it.
According to MTV, Franklin said the following about the critics:
“When Full House came on the air, the reviews were scathing. We got an F in People magazine. All of the critics hated the show. It wasn’t until Season 4 or 5 that we started to see good reviews. The critics started to lighten up on us. The reviews have not been wonderful on Fuller House so far. I don’t want to say we’re review-proof, but I don’t think our fans really care what the critics have to say. I think the critics are taking the show way too seriously. They’re there to have fun writing scathing reviews — they love that. But they seem to be missing the point that this show is about fun. It’s comfort food. It’s revisiting the past. It’s not to be taken that seriously.”
Franklin is fairly positive that the series will be picked up for a second season. TV Series Finale shared in a previous report that Franklin feels like Netflix will definitely renew Fuller House for a second season.
Did you watch the revival yet? Do you want even more from the Fuller House gang? Tell us what you think.
Fuller house is awesome!!! Please bring a second season. I used to watch full house all of the time when i was a kid. Its great to see some of the older cast pop in and out sometimes is even better.

I love this show it still has the same qwerky sense of humor n just fall in love with the family and I really think that kid Max is hilarious! Got to keep renewing this show.
I loved it ********
I love it. And my teen aged daughters think the baby is adorable. And everyone looks so great for their age. The Tanner sisters are gorgeous and their adult personas are very likeable. Even the Gibbler is likeable now, more so than before but still quirky as ever.
Love Fuller House! Just as great as the original! So funny! My kids love it to. Recreation of the opening song gave me goosebumps! Wish we could see more of Danny, Joey, uncle Jesse. Etc! And Michelle, come on, join the gang!
I don’t ever do reviews but I had to speak up when I heard people giving Fuller House bad reviews. I absolutely love this show. And I want many more seasons to come. I would be so sad if they cancelled the series.
I strongly agree with you Eric! I usually don’t post reviews either, but hearing critics giving this new show bad reviews is not fair. They totally were never fans of the show to begin with! We the people love and embrace this awesome new show. Let’s hope for the best and see Season 2 come alive.
Either that or the bad reviews just do not get why people this series Netflix clearly gets it the tv world barely got it.
I was born in 1981, so Full House was my time, and it was one of my absolute FAVORITE shows! Now I have two young children and they LOVE it too! It’s on Nickelodeon all the time, it’s says a lot about a show when it’s still on tv and loved by the next generation almost 30 years after it first aired! When I heard about Fuller House coming to Netflix I was so excited I couldn’t hardly stand it, and it wasn’t just me, everyone around me, young and my age, we’re just as excited! Never has this been… Read more »
+Shayna:actually full house had references to bad stuff no one just ever noticed because of the way it was phrased they hidden under kid phrases Like when Jesse said “doing taxes” he did not mean doing taxes. The references were hidden to kid friendly and since the original characters grew up and since kids are a lot smarter then we give them credit for the writers do not need to be as innocent with the references anymore. Sheltering kids from stuff like this when they learn about it in school as they get older is never a good idea if… Read more »
It is like coming home to mom’s meatloaf. Please renew this for another season.
