Ghost Whisperer: Petition to Save the CBS TV Show

Ghost WhispererMelinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) can talk to spirits and often helps them get to “the other side.” But now, it looks like the Ghost Whisperer TV show is in need of help. The ratings are not very good this year and, unless CBS wants to keep it going to add episodes to the syndication package, it looks very possible that Ghost Whisperer could be cancelled.

Remember, the most important thing to CBS and the sponsors is for people to watch the show on their television, while it’s being broadcast. If you like Ghost Whisperer and want to see it continue, there are a few things you can do to help keep it going.

  1. Watch the show each week, preferably live, and encourage others to do the same. You might know a Nielsen family and not even know it.
  1. Talk about the show with other people; at school, at work, online, or wherever. Creating a buzz about a show gets people interested and helps them stay invested in watching.
  1. Sign the petition below and encourage others to do the same.
  1. Write to the network. Be respectful. Everyone responds better to courtesy. Tell them how much you enjoy the show, that you’ve signed the petition, and that you want to see it continue.   1. Take note of the products that you see advertised consistently during the show. Write the advertisers and tell them that you appreciate their sponsoring the show and that you buy their products (if you do).

We, the undersigned, have enjoyed watching the Ghost Whisperer TV show. It has been a staple of Friday night television for several years. It is a well-acted and well-written show that combines romance with supernatural drama.

Please find a way to keep Ghost Whisperer on the air. We are devoted viewers who will continue to watch the program, encourage others to do the same, and will support the series’ advertisers as well. If necessary, change its night and time. Please keep it going, either on CBS or, if necessary, on another channel.

    I just got all the seasons of Ghost Whisperer for Christmas and it has made me miss the series even more than I did before..I wish the series could come back, or at least a movie that updates them to see how they have done, it is such a wonderful show..PLEASE BRING IT BACK..

    I love this show so much, and I strongly believe that the show at least deserves a proper finale. I remember rushing to eat dinner, just so I could watch the show. I remember the Pilot, and thinking "this is going to be the start of a wonderful series", and it really was. I became more emotionally connected to the series after a relative had passed away. This show gave me so much comfort and I don't know how I would have been able to cope without it. I'm sure that many other individuals feel the same way that I do, so I hope, on behalf of all the dedicated viewers, that you re-consider continuing the series :D

    Hi I am just here to say that I may be only 12 years old but I have very strong feelings for ghost whisper. I have been watching it since I was 5 years old ever Friday. Ever since the season finale of season 5 I would wonder when it would come back on even to this day. As I wright this I am watching ghost whisper feeling sad that there was never an apporiate series finale. Please bring back ghost whisper for ma and all the other ghost whisper fans. Thank you for given me 5 great seasons of ghost whisper. Bu season would mean even more for one last unforgettable season. Thanks agaim

    Please, bring Ghosts Whisperer back. It brings more to the screen then some may see. The cast has done a amazing job with this show. To tell someone that you dont want to air their show anymore for your own reason isnt right. We the people, who help your ratings have the right to say who stays and who goes. If you want to get higher rateings ask the people who really watch. Not the ones who work at your company.

    I love watching Ghost Whisperer!! I admit.... I'm addicted to it :p And I want season 6 so Badly!!!! I'm just so curious.. Well that's what you get when you watch Ghost Whisperer right? ;p It's just not only the ghost part that fascinates me, but all the emotional and servitude stuff and the most lovely relationship between Melinda and Jim, one you can dream of ;) :)

    Ghost Whisperer is probably one of my favorite shows. I just can not understand why they would cancel this show. Its just so amazing. It draws you into the story line. Please I know that everyone would love it if we would at least get ONE more season. Just to at least finish the story. I miss seeing Melinda helping people, Jim being a cutee doctor and seeing Aidan grow up to be like Melinda. I want to see how Aidan turns out. I want to see what really happens. So I know im just some girl that loves the show.. But please.. Just one more season. At least give the fans that closure of the show. Please. Please. Please. We all are signing this.. PLEASE But thank you for at least giving us the pleasure of knowing this show. <3
