I’ve been reading all of these comments from all of these people, and the one that sounds like it came straight from my mouth is the one written by “Gabby Martin”. Everyday since I first saw the show, I sit down and watch GG. I always buy the seasons the day they’re in stores. Rory is my idol and I dont know what I would do without this show, I would’nt be me. I really hate that Logan and Rory broke up. They’re perfect for each other and she cant just run off for a traveling journaling career. She belongs at a newspaper. This is my opinion and I really hope that there will be an 8th season and maybe a 9th, 10th, and etc.

I think leaving the show like that will be a bit ungrateful to the fans who supported them since the pilot episode came out. if they need a reason to continue the show, it should include at least tying up the story lines that they started so as not to disappoint and leave their faithful fans hanging. it’s a great show and they owe their popularity to the fans. Even a half-season would suffice if only to wrap things up nicely. The end of the 7th season is not an ending deserving of the Gilmore Girls. It should not be the ending this show should be remembered as having. They at least owe it to themselves, the show and the show’s followers to end it right.

As to how I hope the show will end, I hope they will tie it up in such a way that the story goes back to focusing more on the Gilmore Girls and their amazing relationship. Kind of bring back the feeling when the show started. Of course I want Luke and Lorelai to end up together as well

i agree with everyonw who posted about Luke and Lor….there is no chris…he was that boyfriend of your teenage years you think of every once and awhile(and happpens to be rorys dad) but Luke was always there for both of them not in and out of their lives whenever he pleases….how can writers even think for one minute fans would want to see Lor with chris…..her charater for 6 seasons was WAYYYYYYY to smart to fall for chris again…you can even see the look lauren graham did sooooo well at the end of season 6 when waking up in chrises bed…she knew was a mistake…she was not the same charater after that….yes lauren played her the same witty Lor….but the writers changed who she was…. we the FANS neeed a season 8 of luke and Lor very badly….if not…..i might cry!!!

There needs to be atleast a few more episodes, so Rory and Lorelai can end up happily. Lorelai and Luke need to be together actually, and like get married, not just kiss. And Rory and Logan need to just stay together or Logan and Rory need to officially break up, so Rory can find someone else. Rory could even get back together with Dean, or even better Jess in the last couple episodes, just so it can end better. If Alexis Bledel won’t be a main character in season 8, she should still guest star and give Rory a happy ending.

I think they should have a season 8 or half a season because Luke and Lor should be together and Logan and Rory should be togther. I hate how the season ended without either of them having men. I dont think there should be a season 9 though that would be draging it on for too long

i think there should be a season 8. bledel wants to leave the show let her. what the main focus is on luke and lorelai. the fans got cheated on the whole luke and christopher romance which was a waste. the fans have waited 7 years to see luke and lorelai together. since season 1 i said that they will be together by the end of the show and they will get married, but to end them with a kiss? thats really promising, NOT. i really want it to come back and show the story of luke and lorelai starting a family and a wedding, then everybody will be perfectly fine and happy.

I don’t think the ending did justice to the fans who supported the show for 7 years. We deserve a wedding between Luke and Lorelai. Things cannot just end between Rory and Logan after 3 years. ITS NOT RIGHT!

i agree with everyone. It is sad that the show is ending, but the writing has gone down hill. In the first seasons you would get exausted trying to keep up with what they were saying. That was the best part of watching GG. This season not so much. I would rather it end now then to drag it out and the only thing that anyone remembers is the crappy final seasons instead of the clever, charming, and heartwarming series that it WAS. good-bye GG I will miss you.

I totally agree with what almost everyone said in their comments. I read every review and i completely agree i think they should do a little 7th heaven keep it going for another season or two to get the closure and wrap it all up nicely continue with limited appearances by Rory and maybe Logan just to see what happens, have Luke and Lor back together arried with a family of their own. Lane and Zack and Sookie and Jackson doing their thing thay would be fine it needs better episodes better closure no more Chris and no more Logan if u can help it. It’s the best show on T.V in my opinion they need to keep it at least one more or maybe two seasons they need closure it can’t end yet they will be leaving it hanging which would suck. i love this show. i have gotten them all on dvd and watched the entire 7 seasons in the last few months (except the 2 that haven’t aired in the US yet. If there is not going to be a season 8, i hope season 7 is wrapped up nicely. Rory with Logan Loralai with Luke. I hate when thing end without closure. If you know there is not going to be another season, wrap things up so we think the ‘characters’ will be happy foerver!!!

I am a girl who loved to watch disney channel. Then saw Gilmore girls. I came home from school and watched it everyday. Then bought every season that was out. I picked a rolemodel.Rory.Also known as Alexis.I did everything like her.I also watched season 4 and cut my hair the way rory did. I only talk about Gilmore girls.Every night I watch it. I can not just let it go down like this.Also the guys in this movie are not wimpy. They are just not good actors! So please Alexis just try one more season. I just have to see what happens with you and Logan. You are my role model dont forget that. Oh and one more thing I dont like it how Lain has twins.Yet Zack still goes off in a band. It set’s wrong examples. Let them just take a break. So please bring gilmore girl’s back for good. Do not let a show that has come so far drown because maybe someone is having second thoughts. Gilmore Girls cannot end. And even if Alexis doesn’t want to be on the show, she really doesn’t have a big impact on it anyways. Even when looking back in the first season’s interviews, the creators were talking about how all rory had to do was be the quiet daughter. i mean, to save the show without alexis, all the writers have to do is make logan and rory be in LA. and have very limited appearences. and for the rest of the time, could be lane, or more of activities in the town, but i think that if there is a season 8, it will wrap up everything of what the show could have started. make amy say those last two lines.
duh, its just like seven heaven, so many of the characters left, and its still a wonderful show

Gilmore Girls needs another season, as many have said, for another start and finish to Luke and Lorali. Rory making guest appearances is fine, but i really wish her character would wise up and become the “innocent” girl she used to be. Enough of the icky Logan. He needs to go. Hook Rory up with a man who hasn’t slept with almost every girl he meets. Nuf said. GG is a wonderful show, and we need a season of better story lines (way better) and finally getting L & L together forever!!!!

I would not mind if they ended the series after seven seasons but for the love Gilmore please wrap it up with some decent closure. It looks like that is not going to happen so it seems that season 8 is needed.

If season 8 does come to pass they need to wrap everything up neatly in a nice pretty pink bow. Think Season 7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It all came full circle, it was fitting and left no questions; no further yearning of possible story lines.

Luke and Lor should be together. Rory needs to have a newspaper job that is successful and she needs to be with Logan.

Side bar: what ever happened to Luke’s sister and her husband?

Any how I believe that my opinions on the matter would be the most sensible.

I also don’t blame the last writers. Season 6, (in my book) sucked! They needed to do some fixing. Let the viewers have their last season and send it out on a bang!

I agree that the show can, in fact, go on quite nicely with only limited appearances by Alexis Bleidel. The rich characters in the town could be explored further. I love Melissa McCarthy, for example. And Lorelai’s parents! And LUKE and Lorelai. Hello! Agree that that too much time was spent on (yawn) Chris. That was way off track this year. Just keep up the witty repartee with the other characters and Lorelai, put Luke and Lorelai back together, and show more storylines utilizing Melissa McCarthy, Sally Struthers, and with Lorelai’s parents. What’s going on at the Inn, by the way? It’s all but disappeared (along with the employees) this season!!
Hang in there and fix it! We NEED our Tuesday night GG!!!

I want the show to come back … but at the same time I don’t. Another mediocre season just to have another one? I want Gilmore Girls, I do, but maybe they should pull a Seinfeld and stop the show while it’s still semi-enjoyable. I don’t blame Dave for this season at all, Amy kind of really screwed him, and although these last few episodes have been getting better each week, I don’t want to see the show go on in mediocrity. I love the show, I love the characters. It’s sad to see it have to go out like this. If they come back for another season I want it to be amazing, vintage Gilmore, but I know that that is unlikely … and it has to be a full season. It can’t get cancelled mid-season because it got that bad. I’m torn about this Gilmore Girls thing. I feel like if they wrap it up this season for good, we won’t have closure on the storylines … and then no one will be pleased. I’m going to make this whole conclusion thing simple: may Gilmore LIVE ON, but please, make it good!

I’ve watched this show religiously; even going so far as to schedule my classes around it. But I do not want another season. This season is dragging itself out in all the wrong ways. I don’t want it to become $#!t and be forced not to watch next season. There is such a thing as ending gracefully, on a high note. Seinfeld had the right idea. Let’s move on, folks. End the show with season 7.

I truly hope that they give us a season 8. I believe that fans have been cheated this season throwing so many episodes with Chris – what a waste. We have watched Luke & Lor for years to just find ourselves watching Chris, the immature, irresponsible, self-centered whiner wins Loralai over to marriage. That has never been believable, so pls give us a Season 8 of Luke&Lor and their marriage, pregnancy, baby – SH folk creating so many plots and subplots around the Luke and Lor union with child. Luke with his own “baby”. The April storyline I could have done without as well. Please give us a Season 8. I sincerely hope that the actors and producers do not cheat devoted fans of GG and Stars Hollow out of a Season 8 with more Luke w Lor, Sookie and Jackson, Lor’s parents, the eccentric town folk and let Rory (Alexis) just come to town now and then if she wants to leave the show. I hate that she’d leave, but the fans deserve to have more episodes with Luke and Lor not just getting back together but seeing them start a family and a so many new adventures. We waited 7 years for L & L, not for Lor and Chris. Send Chris packing please.

I’m hoping for a season 8. Even without Alexis, I’d like a season 8 just to get closure on all of the Lorelai storylines. It seems as if they are setting up a POSSIBLE season 8 without Alexis, or very limited Alexis.

Unless they bring back Amy to write and Daniel to direct, stick a fork in it, it’s done.

This season has been so uneven, it’s sad. The last few episodes caught that familiar GG spark but I don’t know if it is enough.

I would hate to see it go but I would hate more for it to just turn into a parody of itself and just get so bad that no one remembers how great it used to be.
