It looks like Nick’s fights on Friday nights are far from over. NBC has renewed Grimm for a fifth season for 2015-16.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Others in the cast include Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
Grimm is down by 7-10% in the ratings so far this season; averaging a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.99 million viewers. This season will see the fantasy crime drama reach the 88 episode mark, enough episodes for syndication. Next year it will likely reach 100 installments — quite an impressive feat for a genre series that airs on Friday nights on a major network.
What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Are you glad that it’s been renewed? How long should it continue?
I am loving this series through all the seasons…it is taking some very strange twists…but I hope it straightens out a bit. Love Wu’s sense of humor throughout all the seasons.
All the characters are great. Janet
Please do not cancel Grimm, it’s a fantastic show!!!
Love the show but it has lately become to much like a soap opera. They need to get rid of Juliette completely and go forward from here. I do hope it stays on the air.
I love Grimm…it’s not your usual cops and robbers crime show. I really like how the characters keep evolving with the storyline. I also love the fact that it’s filmed in NW Portland 🙂 Hope it keeps going for a few more seasons!!
I love Grimm !! Was turned on yo it by my daughter, who, with her husband, doesn’t miss an episode. I am a lot older than the average viewer…85 as of last November. Please keep Grimm on the air for as many seasons as possible !! Great creativity, and great stories !!
I love Grimm. Can’t wait till Friday. Wish they left it at 9pm EST. Hope it’s on for a long time. Each year is better than the previous year.
I AM OVER THE AGE OF 49 !!! I spend a heckuva lot more money than someone 18-25.
Yet the networks keep making decisions on programming based upon a “18-49” demographic. As such, they have cancelled a few really good shows — shows that my age group really enjoyed.
I am under 60, but over 49 ……………….financially sound and capable of spending more money than a “20-30 something” person who is just starting their lives and families !!!
The whole family loves this show its so good, it rarely has a boring episode. The best thing on Friday nights to watch. Please keep it around for a long time
I love Grimm that is fantastic.
Want to see at least 10 seasons of grimm… I love it
Like it a lot! Great escape fantasy. Only just “discovered” it in season 4. Recommended by a friend. Binge watched to get caught up. Good actors. Good writing. Lots of metaphors. Interwoven plots. Action. Humor. Fun to watch. Interesting. You get to use your imagination a bit. I’m 64 and I’m “hooked.”
I’ve watched this show from the very beginning!!!!!!Love it….Again to old I guuess, but Portland is my home town.does that count?
Just barely being in that age bracket, I do hope that Grimm is kept on for seasons after the fifth. It’s the only show that I have an interest in ( other than Ghost Adventures) and trust me, the latter has really disappointed me the last couple of seasons. Grimm, on the other hand, keeps my curiosity peaked and I do indeed hope that it will continue to air long after next season.
I love the show! It it amazing I look forward to watching it every weekend I always say yeah is it Friday yet ? Can’t wait to watch Grimm !!
Fantastic show. I hope Grimm runs for many more seasons
omaigosh!!! the last few episodes have really put me on the edge and wanting more after each episode. great storyline for juliet as she really turned 360 degree..it really is a great twist and i am excited about that baby grimm. after all, adalind is really not that bad. all she wanted was her baby that’s why she did what she did. Love that Grimm is renewed for another season and hope it there will be more seasons to come.
