Grimm aired its 100th episode on NBC last week, and it has been a fight for the series to make it that far, according to David Giuntoli. He spoke about the series in an interview with The Los Angeles Times this week, and he made one shocking revelation.
Season six could be the last season for this series. NBC has not yet renewed the series though, so it could very well end with the fifth season. Fans will need to wait for news on the fate of the series.
The series’ 100th episode did answer a big question. Nick and Monroe found the treasure that was hinted at during the start of the series. They managed to uncover it on the last episode, and it had great power. It healed Monroe from an infected bite.
Giuntoli said the following about the future of the series:
“It’s very rare that an actor gets so many opportunities between “action” and “cut.” Most of your time as an actor is spent trying to get to that point, not living within those two points, and when you’re on a long-running series, you have so much time in between those two moments to actually yell “cut.” So, I’m ever grateful for all of the opportunities I get to kind of change it up — fix things, better things, tweak things. If we get a Season 6, it could very well be our last season, and it will be the first time that the writers would get to write to an ending. If we do, it’ll be a very fun ride, with major events.”
The series has been a Friday night staple for several seasons, but the ratings have seen a dip this season. Do you want a sixth season of this series? Tell us what you think.
Keep Grimm going, it’s a fantastic show with a great cast! Don’t take away my Friday night staple!!!
Ooooooooohhhhhhh seriously. It is not good. Finally I found a serie that I love watch, all my family sit down to watch it, and we comment after the episodes and wait for new episodes to watch. The actors are so deep in the carather that they play that it is so amazing. All actors fit very good in the story and make that the audience get in to the series well. I hope the writerer, producer and director find away to continue this amazing show.
I really love your show. I live in South Australia but unfortunately channel 7 put your show on @ 11. 30pm. Most people are asleep then, add it is a work day. If they put it on earlier, more people would watch. I mention this show to my friends, and they haven’t heard of it because they are in bed at that time. If you want people to watch, you need to put it on tv at time when people are looking for something to watch. I will miss this show if you remove it. But must admit there had… Read more »
Please keep Grimm! We love this show! <3
The concept, the story lines, the cast, and even the effects have all come together to form a near-perfect program and it would be great to give them a sixth season in which to properly wrap things up and put a button on it. They all deserve that.
Of course it should be another season!!!why?? Because it’s a good freakin show. I can’t wait until Friday’s to tune in. Canceling this show will be the dumbest thing NBC can do. I love the actors, the characters, and look forward to twist and turns every week! In my southern voice ” Y’all better not cancel my show”..!!!!!!!!
KEEP GRIMM…KEEP GRIMM…KEEP GRIMM
I love Grimm and do not want it to end!!!
Grimm is one of my favorite TV Shows, I will be completely devastated if it were to be cancelled. I know they fell off a little, but I truly believe it has gotten back to what made it a great show. Please, for once and despite lower ratings, give the show a chance to get even better. I feel there is much left to do on the show. Besides, I won’t be able to function without my weekly dose of the supernatural!!!
Grim is a great show ! How do shows like New Girl, I Zombie stay on…..junk……Grim is amazing!
Have enjoyed Grimm since the beginning, and do NOT want it to end.
Please don’t cancel the show Grimm. It’s the best show ever.
Grimm is the best show on t.v. My husband and I have enjoyed it from the very beginning and will be very sad to see it go. It’s something different it’s not a reality show it’s not a soap opera it’s an awesome show it to us and turns it was on the edge of his seat but of course they going to take off the good stuff and leave on the crap
Please at least give it a sixth season to answer a lot of questions everyone has and how the characters will end up. It’s one of the best shows out there. My husband and I never miss it! You have SO MANY followers for this show, please don’t disappoint us!
They get rid of Grimm but keep crap like 2 broke girls on.
