It wasn’t a strong showing for Guys with Kids but it certainly wasn’t a bomb either. The real test will be to see if last night’s viewers return next week and how the show fares once the other networks start airing originals.

These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. I heard it’s been canceled good that was a dumb show bet it was uncomfortable walking with a brat on your chest hope NBC can find better comedies next year with the demise of 30 Rock

    • Kim says

If you ever had kids, perhaps you would understand. This show is wonderful, funny and more imortantly, family friendly!! 30 Rock was none of those things.

I LOVE this show. It’s family friendly yet current. It is so different and maybe that’s why people don’t get it just yet. It is the antidote to the ‘friends’ style show where everyone rotates sleeping with each other. Finally, something not revolving around the same old sex innuendos.
It’s a show with real characters. I could run into an Emily at the supermarket. Or see Gary at the playground goofing around with his friends and kids.
Sadly, NBC is not giving it a fair shot by airing it on a more kid friendly spot. Up against Survivor, we have to record Guys and watch it later. Please switch it to Tuesday night or even Thursday night. Wednesdays are tough.
