This is one of those, “once in a life time” shows. That does not hold back it’s methods, just to cater to the masses. The show’s possible cancelation, should never have been an issue. The acting, writing, and direction is utterly brilliant; and there is much more to it, than just goriness. This show is possibly, the quintessential psychological thriller on television, right now.

Love Hannibal ! The only show I have looked forward to each week since NBC cancelled
666 (that was a mistake!) The characters are so convincing in their roles that is lightens
the gruesome aspect of the show. It may not be for those who watch the garbage reality shows, but it appeals to those of us who are interested in watching a show that is so
intriguing and well written that it makes us come back for more!

i love hannibal! I’m looking forward to see season 2. Very intriguing and Hannibal Lecter’s character is very charming. All the cast give justice to their roles.

I DVR’d the show from the beginning and just caught the entire first season in one week. Thank goodness it has been renewed. I was afraid that due to it being a brilliantly written, dark, suspenseful, intriguing, disturbing show that I was convinced that it would be canceled. The layers in each of the characters is truly a nod to the brilliancy of the writers. Add to that the actors ability to translate the scripts in such a way that you feel that you are actually in the show watching all of Will’s visions/delusions right along side of him. I have seen most, if not all of Hugh Dancy’s work. However, I am impressed every time I watch Hannibal at how truly talented he is. The depths that he can drag you into his character is amazing. how these actors have managed to make me feel empathy for hannibal, loathe the FBI, understand the mind of Will and appreciate the ability to fall in love with such a disturbed man is beyond me. This is the best show on television!
