je vis en Suisse et je suis triste d’apprendre que Happy Town s’arrête ainsi…..
Je trouvais pas trop mal cette série, à la fin de l’épisode 8 de la saison 1 je m’attendais à une suite car l’histoire commençait à devenir intéressante.
Voilà dommage pour ceux qui avaient envie d’en voir plus…..

most of you have seen the 2 show. but like me and my friend we don’t get to see then.the last to 2 episode were only online. by the time we find out the episode had already ex online. so i think that abc don’t think about anyone when they did this. i think it was great show and i wish it would come back as a wither showing. then maybe it would had more rating.it was one of the best show that i had seen in a while. abc think show that are cop show and reaily show. but thu show are the one i don’t like to watch.

I’m writing from Italy: tonight italian tv aired the last episode of Happy Town and I’m feeling outraged! Does Abc really think they gave us enough explainations in the finale episode?
What about Sam Neil and his nut policeman friend? Who is Henley’s mother? What is the Blue Door, really? Whiy did Big Dave was in the Blue door movie?
Come on, a tv show can’t end like this. You should at least have made a 2hours long final episode to give us all the explanation. I will also send a complaint to our pay-tv Sky Italia, asking them not to buy other Abc shows that end like that.

I agree with everyone else here. I personally had never heard of Happy Town, as I have been living without Television Service for over a year… I have been watching everything online. Finally, after having caught up with all the other shows I like, I found Happy Town by accident. After watching every episode available, I was hooked! Only to find, now, that the show is cancelled!!!!! I am so disappointed! Only goes to prove it isn’t worth getting television service after all. Come on ABC, Please, NO MORE REALITY… I have always hated those things. Bring back HT

I love Happy Town! However, maybe you should have released it in the fall line-up instead of over the summer when television watching is less to begin with. There wasn’t much advertising to get people intrigued. ABC that is your fault. Whoever is running your scheduling should get more polling done in new areas and take the time of year of releases into consideration. Just another disappointment from the largest media.

The never ending cycle of canceling shows that finally surpassed that bar of above average intelligence for viewer interest is amazing. ABC has done it again I see. I looked forward to watching certain shows that somehow managed to dodge the “reality ” theme. Those reality based shows are neither interesting nor anyone’s reality’s that I know of thankfully. Uggggg! Please stop. Please…. My brain is there for enriching, not melting into jello. Bring us back to civility and have more shows like Happy Town, or Life on Mars, or Heroes. They at least gave you good old fashioned entertainment that kept you interested in the story plot from week to week.

I think it stinks that the show Happy Town has been canceled. I waited every week for it . I don’t understand why they cancel a good show and leave all those dumb reality shows airing. What has our society come too. Are we so lame that we have to live thru someone elses reality. Grow up and live your own lives. Bring back Happy Town.

If that’s what ABC calls “the last two episodes,” then I’m really upset about this. Just because the killer’s identity was shown doesn’t make me happy! How could ABC, legally, continue to advertise this TV show on their website, making it seem very suspenseful and exciting to people that haven’t even seen or heard of it yet, knowing that it isn’t even complete? Why take pride in your mistakes ABC? I want to see the end of this show! Do you think that by showing the “last two” episodes and revealing the killer at the end satisfies anyone? That’s nothing but a huge cop-out! And I’m insulted, ABC, that you would think ANYONE would be happy with the end that you’ve given us. Seems like a very unorganized organization. (Pun intended.)

I am sooo sick of trying out a new show and, once again, getting the dang shaft!!! Can you say Life On Mars? Augghhh!!!!!! No wonder the new shows never catch on! By the time we get super-interested in them, they get yanked!!! Why not yank “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette”? Can you say STUPID!!!?? WHY??? I just dont understand!! I am sooooo tired of all the reality/csi/cop shows on right now. Who cares if a fat person finanlly can lose weight, or if one group can dance or sing better then another. Who cares how many different ways people try to commit crimes and just end up getting caught by only good looking lab geeks. Who cares how many rookies it takes to screw up a chase or an arrest. Tired of seeing celebs making complete fools of themselves on T.V. BEEN THERE~DONE THAT!!! I really enjoy thinking through a stroyline and trying to see if I am right when to next episode airs, and I like having the “oh man” feeling when I realize I was wrong. I guess it time to hit the books again, that seems like the only way my mind will get what it wants. I feel sorry for the people who wasted their time AGAIN on an ABC show. Shame on you ABC. When you are ready to dish out another show, there will be NOONE there for you…and your sick cycle will just continue….so sad

I’m going back to my Netflix and Kindle. Happy Town was similar to Harpers Island. It took awhile to pick up steam, but then it started dragging me along. Happy Town had an impressive cast, and geez, I actually had to use my brain as I watched the show. Imagine that! I’m an educated professional who also is tired of reality tv crap. I’m done with ABC.

finally, a show worth watching. I hate most reality & game show tv. Why don’t you just go ahead & add another dr., hospital, csi or game show along with the other major networks. That’s the only thing your largest audience will watch but remember there are other people who like a little variety and we buy things, too.

The series was a descent one– Was doubtful at first…. quite surprised they left it hanging the way they did! Too bad ABC….. You could have had great following from the looks of all the online response…. old fashioned mystery meets middle America…. finally a show that was engaging….!

Not too many of these around…. a show that engulfed your mind,maybe too much for some to comprehend????…but I guess witless reality shows make for better ratings…. and less complicated to decipher???? (((Ouch! My head hurts….. I have to think through the show???? The horror!)))

ABC has no one to blame but themselves for bad ratings. People have stopped watching their shows because they have caught on to the networks bad habits, such as Happy Town. They start a series, then just cancel it which is really crappie network practices or they show a couple of episodes then start reruns or make you wait a couple of weeks to see another episode. People don’t like to start getting interested in something and then all of a sudden its gone so they just don’t watch anymore. Until they can put a series on and leave it until the end their viewers aren’t going to get any better. They have to suffer through some bad ratings and prove themselves again instead they keep putting stupid crap on that no one wants to watch. I don’t know about most of you but I’m fed up. We have satellite and have to pay to get ABC but that is about to end.

This is ridiculous! Why the hell would you create a show then pull it off the air, ok so maybe Happy Town didn’t get a lot of veiwers but those of us that did follow it got screwed. Atleast finish out the season especially because it’s only one season long instead of putting repeats of another show in its place. What is the point of that, it’s a repeat so fact is you probably already saw it, what can it hurt to just finish out a program and then cancel it. Or evern put it on another channel… Dont make a show and advertise it for one seaosn only then just take it away right before the ending, its like giving a baby candy and snatching it 5 seconds later.

There are still too many loose ends…..Alice is the Magic Man, but of her own doing? And is the Sheriff (father) also the Magic Man? What about the 2 English chaps? The cop and the store owner. The cop dude told that lady that HE was the magic man and he talked to that bird….Very bizarre as the whole show was, that’s what I loved about it! BUT, WHY?? Why, how, etc. I guess “the lady of the house” found out that Alice was whacko and just shunned her from the town because they were good friends? OR was Alice doing her bidding?? And WHO was the girl who followed the Chief to the bar? Where did she fall in to it all? She had that tattoo, how does she fit in? We need it to REALLY FINISH out the season because even with the 2 episodes, it STILL doesn’t make much sense OR tie up the loose ends…..give us a break, the least you can do is GIVE US THE FINAL ANSWERS AND THE BIG STORY!!

This is happening far too much. Unbelievable.

I agree completely. This show was just getting going when they pulled the plug. This reminds me of the bizarre programming for Lost! The first two seasons my wife and I loved that show. The 3rd season they got creative with scheduling for ratings purposes, so it was months after normal premier date before it was on again. We quit watching after that….Now there’s room for CSI:Boise, Law and Order Some More, et al, ad nauseu…

Abc can go to he**! These type of shows give people something to talk about. Maybe the ratings aren’t what you want because you keep ******** with the episodes, or maybe people gather in groups to watch and discuss the show (like us) only to leave a dozen people disappointed with nothing to watch. And there are a lot of people in the more remote areas of the US whose internet is still too slow to watch an online episode without major “skipping” – so ya, I can hear the episodes and watch a new frame every 20 seconds. First my daughters and I get hooked on Eastwick and you decided to screw around with that and pull an episode and think no one would notice and then cancel it all together. And now we were just getting into Happy Town and looking forward to tonights episode and then I get on line and find out you have canceled that!!!!!!!!! Knock this **** off!!! We Like these different shows. God knows there are enough cop and lawyer shows on so give us some variety!!!!!!! This network SUCKS

why run a show only to cancel it before the season ends? this is extremely frustrating, and makes me question the quality of ABC’s programming. seems like they don’t think things thru before puttiing them on air. what a load of crap.
