i really love this show from start to finish i am watching them all over again and i want to buy the movie i love jimmy and abby.. they did a great job and i want them to be in more of them so please make another one we all want you to and you never know people may start to like it if you do make another one… it was really sad that chloe and cal died… but if you do make another one you should make the killer some one knew that comes into the 2nd season it will be great please make another one we all want it BACK please

While my 12 year old cousin was at my house, she insisted on going online to show me the screen saver on her computer, it was all of the characters on Harpers Island. I had never seen or even heard of the show, she went on youtube and showed me the scene where she cried because her favorite characters were killed (Cal & Chloe). I since went to the cbs website and watched all 13 episodes and loved the show! I sincerely hope that it will be back on, i will be sure to tune in!

I loved Harper’s Island, and honestly think that CBS will get a lot of trash if there isn’t a second season. It kept me and my friends on our feet, excitedly waiting for the next weeks episode to come along. I’m crushed to hear the news about the hopeful second season. I hope it works out for the best. I ABSOLUTELY loved Harper’s Island. It was one of the best murder mystery shows. The storyline was excellent, as was the cast and acting. I too, was completely shocked at the ending. This show was extremely thrilling and intense. I watched every episode. I did have the series set up for DVR because I wouldn’t want to miss one minute of the show. I truly hated to see it end, and would faithfully watch a new season. FANTASTIC show…we want more!!

I watched the first episode and the finale with my daughter….she watches it faithfully and totally loves it….I was shocked at the finale and what they did with Henry…I am planning to watch repeat episodes and hopefully they come back to aire next season even though I don’t know what the heck they would do as far as bring back the killer maybe….henry didn’t die after all…or his Dad…hmmm

Well I am shocked that this show did not do well on ratings. Not sure why it switched from Thursday to Saturday but I really enjoyed the series. I taped every show so it really didn;t matter to me what night of the week it was on. The show kept you counting the days for the next episode. Was a nice switch from all the reality shows and Criminal investigation shows and how bout another competition show or law show??? Come on bring us another one and advertise it better and keep it on the same night so ppl don’t lose interest!

i LOVED it!!! i loved every episode..i think they killed them off one by one in a good order(the order of people)…i was totally shocked on the season finale that it was henry and that he could kill his best friend and his fiance (who he came to love but killed her anyway) and i be soooo happy (i cant even describe how happy i would be) if it came out on dvd!! if i could i would give it am million thumbs up!!! : ) i also reallllly hope they make more of them with different places and different people and stuff like that!! : )))))

I loved this show so much, but I whish Cloey and Cal would have lived or somthing. They were awsome!!!!!!!
Ratings might have dropped because they might have missed the episode on TV.
I know I have for 2 episodes and whatched it online…..I also taped the whole series to whatch it the next day.
-I only hope cameron richardson will be playing on another series/movie, loved cloey.

Harper’s Island was a show that I absolutely looked forward to every week. It has been a long time since I’ve looked forward to a TV series. I loved the suspense and anticipation ~ always left you hanging and looking forward to the next episode. I would love to see a second series or another similar 13 week series.

Hey! why is evryone bashing on harpers island!? i belive they should come back for a second season i really enjoyed it….every single episode was great! i’ve barely seen a good show on lately and harpers island is the greatest show ever, in my opinion. by the way, i was happy of how it ended, abby and jimmy are together and FINALLY trish is dead, and henry is the killer. i think that it was an amazing show and i loved the ending i was shocked and i thought the reason henrey did it was adorable and it was a little sad it is a great show and they should air another series like it or at least put it on DVD so others can watch it again and maybe more people will like it more it if it becomes like a multi-series show imean it may not be as good because if you saw the original youd kind of be expecting this kind of stuff but they could give it a little twist like this series did i think it was amazing bravo

I’m surprised so many people liked this show. I started watching because I’m a Chris Gorham fan, but I guess I’m not really a “horror” kind of person and this was beyond “murder mystery” for me. I did tune in to the final episode just to see how it ended, but I was disappointed that I figured out who the murderer was after watching just two part episodes–it seemed obvious to me. And I agree, it wasn’t very well written. I mean who splits up when a murderer is on the loose?? Oh well. I guess people don’t watch horrors for the quality story lines!

If anyone “thinks” about what they are watching they will see how stupid it is. The writers really need to think before writing the episodes because it is SO UNrealistic! By the way I only watched the last 15 minutes of the first part. Guess I will watch the rest since it is almost over and I do want to know the end. but I am glad it is the end!

We could care less if it returns. This show sure does show how brain dead the young people are. They shoot guns to soon or miss. A killer is allover the place and they still split up. A killer is walking towards them and they can’t climb over the fence to excape. People come up missing, and no one notices. Stupid, after stupid. My family and friends all started out watching, then emailing about it later, but as the shows got so idiotic they started viewing other shows. I’m down to only one son now watching and he said he would not watch another season. All we want now is to know who the other killer is. We’re done.

I have to agree with Calvin # 104 its getting to be like Jason, A little on the ridiculous side. People shooting at him & missing or the guns are not going off. Just like people disappearing & no one notices or says anything about where they are until several episodes later. It’s like the writer didn’t remember to include that person. Then oh yeah we better put something in about so in so who went missing 3 episodes back,with some brief mention of them or nothing at all. If the networks decide to continue with this show they better do better quality control about a lot of things that don’t seem to make sense or come together. When something goes no where how do you bring it back???

I haven’t been able to enjoy or become ensconced in a show since ‘Sex and the City’ R.I.P. while I really love CSI it hasn’t been quite as good since Grissom left. I like this show…makes you think. I think they made a mistake making the killer Wakefield…I thought it was supposed to be a whodunit? I had figured Jimmy for the killer…when is the finale on? I taped it last night and was a little pissy to find the season premiere…I am sick of liking a tv show only to have it yanked eg…Cashmere Mafia, Lipstick Jungle and Dirt…why don’t you pull the stupid shows like I’m a celebrity…what a piece of crap! These reality shows (save big brother) are getting too much. Whomever is making the axe decisions ought to listen to the public because he’s doing a crappy job!

Harper’s Island is one of the best shows ever I was sad that they changed the time slot becuase I’m usually out with my family on Saturday nights however I can’t wait til Sunday mornings to watch it on demand.. I wish this could be an ongoing show lasting longer than the 13 weeks scheduled, I love the characters and the suspense great plot…I really hope that the mini-series gets released to dvd so I can watch it all over and over again…We need more stuff like this on tv not all these stupid reality shows…..

I have to say that the one expression wonder Katie Cassidy is not a great actress. In fact, if she isn’t killed for that insipid ever present dumb look on her face, I will scream. Almost as loud as when she was pointing the shotgun at large knife wielding John Wakefield, but exited instead leaving small knife Shane to die. Both offenses are death worthy on a show where no reason is required.

I saw the previews for Harper’s Island a couple months before the show ever started. The previews caught my attention right off the bat…. I have since set my DVR to record it every week not missing a single episode. In fact I have several people hooked on it as well. My brother and his girlfriend are at my house every Saturday night with their eyes glued to the screen! I think it was VERY well written. It’s horrible that I have to wait TWO WEEKS to watch it again. I can’t believe it’s already over. Hopefully it’ll come out on DVD!

A murder mystery is just what tv is lacking now a days, no more “Murder she wrote” or “Matlock” shows, I get really tired of all the spinoffs of spinoffs like CSI’s and NCIS’s. Cant we come up with ORIGINAL shows guys. The cast in Harpers Island is great, I thought TV Guide gave away the killer back a few months ago and I was miffed, I thought if they just told me who the killer is, I am gonna be hot, well turns out, it wasnt who they said, so I still like TV Guide, LOL. I sure hope CBS comes up with a new story soon

this show is great. i have not missed an episode. if i cant watch better believe i dvr it. come monday its our talk of the day at work. hopefully they will make another series like it next summer or even sooner. i truely believe there is a fan base just need the right cast and storyline. the cast of harpers is excellent. this is a great mystery and truely keeps u guessing. each week we try to guess who it may be aND the next week our guesses are proven wrong with their untimely deaths. very suspenseful! I find it totally amazing that shows that are good and well played out are always the ones to be cancelled … Yes, let’s make room for another reality show … let’s see what hasn’t been done … oh I know gladiators fighting to the death…what’s one more garbage show …. or how about live from Alaska it’s Sarah Palin skinning a moose ….How about keeping Harpers Island and cancelling Conan O’brien. That is why network television is going to hell in a breadbasket and cable is taking over… why not listen to what the people like to watch …. why not keep the shows that people enjoy or does that make too much sense !!

I usually don’t watch CBS, but Harper’s Island change that. Only thing is, CBS likes to cancel shows and all to often before the finale. This show is great. I finally look forward to Saturday night TV. Personally I think that Jimmy is Wakefields son, and maybe he’s known that Wakefield wasn’t dead, but I don’t think he is helping kill. Maybe its someone new, that hasn’t been introduced yet, cause usually I can figure it out, but not this time. The writers got me stumped. Also, what the hell is up with little Madison? She shows no emotion! She fines out that her father is dead and not a tear, not a cry, not even a scream. You have to admit the girl is strange and acts inappropriately. Anyway, I look forward to see the series through.

this show makes my saturday. it is better than many “scary” movies, and the writers and the actors on the show are absolutely brilliant! people, dont judge the show unless you’ve been following since episode one, cuz it wouldnt make sense, go watch all the episodes on the cbs site, and you will be enthralled if you appreciate good television. believe me, there aint much out there like this anymore…

Harper’s Island is becoming a very silly program. When the villain stands there and allows them to shoot at him (like he read the script and know he can’t be killed yet) then proceeds to stab his last victim is just ridiculous. No one can hit him and will NOT fire when they have the opportunity!
