It wasn’t a stellar debut for this new series with a 08. rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.88 million viewers. Though Hart of Dixie built slightly on the Gossip Girl lead-in, it was the weakest of the network’s series premieres and that doesn’t bode well for the future.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Hart of Dixie TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

They keep repeating the same thing over and over all the time. They can’t decide who she should be with either. And the events are the same. Its just like rachel bilson real life.
Hart of Dixie ROCKS!
Please don’t disappoint us ladies by cancelling the show!!!
This show is my favorit one at the moment, it can’t be canceled!!!!!!!
I LOVEEE THIS SHOW!!!! IT BETTER GET PICKED UP FOR SEASON 2 BECAUSE THE ONLY REASON I EVEN WATCH THE CW ANYMORE AFTER ONE TREE HILL ENDED IS BECAUSE OF HART OF DIXIEEEE!!! <3333
i love this show so much its so nice to watch something fun and normal like instead of this fantasy stuff around. i think you should give it a chance and see if the ratinging pick up when its aired in the uk on 30th april me and my friends love it and really hope there is a 2nd series.
I Want to love the show – HOWEVER- there is not enough interesting things happening in the show besides Zoe and George ( and Lemon on occasion). This show has sooo much potential but the writers have not given us a reason to watch it the next week. Just when you think a story might get really good, it has a cheesy ending and there isn’t much depth AT ALL. Every episode has a “town event” that is just cheesy and dumb. Maybe a new and interesting character would spice it up? Or better and more savvy/witty writing?? Maybe more… Read more »
There are too many shows alike out there, Hart of Dixie is basically the only DIFFERENT show now a days. Most people do not want to watch another super dramatic show like Gossip Girl or whatever. Where it’s very hard to believe, how many near death accidents, rumors and everything happen? it’s very old. Hart of Dixie is such a breath of fresh air, you’ll definitely lose my view on the channel if the show is cancelled. Personally, I cannot stand to see yet another extremely, hard to believe drama series air. DON’T cancel it.
Please don’t cancel Hart of Dixie!!!! I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!
Me too. I LOVE THIS SHOW!! I look forward to each week. It has such a great combination of drama and comedy.
I love this show! The characters are great.
I alslo love this show. Couldn’t wait until it came back. With all the blood shedding on scripted shows and all the housewives acting like fools, this show is a pleasure to watch.
It should be cancelled! Ringer did a better job than her and gossip girl. The rating was better too.
Hart of Dixie does better than Ringer & Gossip Girl. Leave please. 🙂
Ringer is the better show. They keep changing thing on it. And things keep going back and forth. Rachel bilson who is plays zoe is not at all part of the show at all. Her main is not there all the time. Its the other people that is playing her part. She does not do much on there but get upset and cry and look cute all the time. She is not playing a doctor. Other esposides are the same as before. They keep repeating nothing different at all.
Plz don’t cancel this show !! Today’s episode was a blast 🙂 If any show should be canceld it would be Nikita -_- so not interested with the whole destroying division plan …. And wat so ever
I LOVEE THIS SHOWWW!!! please dont cancel itt!
i loveee this showw!! i seriously cant wait for monday nights just to see hart of dixiee!! please dont cancel ittt!!
