Hart of Dixie: Season Three Ratings

Hart of Dixie season three ratingsThough the ratings came down last season, The CW renewed Hart of Dixie anyway. Will the numbers continue to decline this year? Could the show be cancelled or is it sure to be renewed because of potential syndication profits? We’ll have to wait and see.

Hart of Dixie follows a big-city doctor (Rachel Bilson) who’s adjusting to small-town living and a complicated love triangle. The rest of the cast includes Scott Porter, Jaime King, Wilson Bethel, and Cress Williams.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically the following morning, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

Just started watching the past 2 seasons. I love this show! Don’t cancel it. Never even saw a preview on tv or I would have watched it.

This is a delightful show with a wonderful cast. It has been through a rough patch lately because the focus shifted too far away from the storylines of the core characters and placed too much emphasis on guest stars. However, it still has a multitude of loyal fans and deserves to be renewed for another season. We all want to see our favorite characters find their happy endings.

I completely agree. The writers need to focus on building relationships between the main cast. Everyone seems to have their own disconnected story line and unfortunately most of them are boring. The viewers want the old Hart of Dixie back. In a data driven world (dropping numbers), the writers should see that and respond.

You still didn’t give the new rating for hart of Dixie for Monday. You are giving rating for dvr. What more can they do with it. They can write a proper ending this season. You act like you going to die if it get canceled. Modern family is a better show than hart of Dixie and you all know this. And hart of dixie don’t get no awards at all. Its not like the Gilmore girls. You can’t Bring back e
Wade and zoe. They should have kept wade with z oe and let them grow together.

So the .777 million isn’t the exact numbers for ratings last Friday? Maybe they aren’t as bad as we think. Do they add dvr ratings & reruns in? What about when I watch it on the CW website? Do they count the views from the website also?

I’m in love with this show! It did lose its touch with Joel, but he’s finally gone now! It’s so sad because this show could’ve been one of the greats like O.C, one tree hill, gossip girl, & Gilmore Girls. It couldn’t easily went on for 6 seasons with the right writers. It has such interesting characters & they could’ve have us so many episodes! It drives me nuts that these people are writing this show, they need me writers!

I’m glad it’s been renewed. My boyfriend asks me all the time why I watch it and I tell him it’s my guilty pleasure. I just love all the characters but I think my favorite by a slight margin is Lemon. I just wish it was back on Monday.

The show should not be cancelled. The writers need to get back to the connections. It has been disjointed for the most of the season. A few gave been good but, people loved it for the warmth of Lemon and Brick, Zoe and Lavon, Wade being a good guy even though he seemed bad, Rose and Zoe, and the town people depending on Zoe as a doctor. Joel was ok, but it seemed to be all about him and no one watching really cared. Get back to the caring about each other, even Crazy Earl!
