Hawaii Five-0: Season Four Ratings

Hawaii Five-0 season four ratingsOn this police procedural series, an elite state police task force fights crime in the 50th state. A reimagining of the original Hawaii Five-0 TV show, it stars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park, Masi Oka, and Michelle Borth.

This season, CBS has moved Hawaii Five-0 to Friday nights. Does this mean that the show is as-good-as cancelled or could it survive to be renewed for many more seasons? Time will tell.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

3/13 update: This show has been renewed for the 2014-15 season by CBS.

4/12 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.

For comparisons: The third season of Hawaii Five-0 averaged a 2.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.02 million total viewers.

Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you still like the Hawaii Five-0 TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a fifth season?

One of the few shows I actually watch and do not browse the web while it is on. I hope they keep it fresh and it runs for ever but enough of the stories about the superspy mom already.

Hawaii is the best show to watch plus it’s very intertaining if you have to move to another night, why not saturday nights?

The numbers are better than eveything else in the new time slot, the 18-49 rating is stupid, even though I am in that group, everyone knows people over that age have more money to spend than kids in this economy so advertisers should be less concerned with the demographic and look at overall numbers , this is a great show, way better than a lot of guff on tv and should be renewed for more than just season 5

I see that with Grimm back Hawaii has again dropped to a 1.4 demo .Hawaii was supposed to make Friday stronger for CBS. I checked in this site and the Final 9th season of CSI NY averageed 1.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.66 million total viewers. Hawaii F-O is a younger show and it is averaging 1.46 demo and 9.8 million , so it has not really made the night stronger .
And Blue Bloods in the tougher 10 pm slot gets similar demo but always gains a lot in total viewers , so Blue Bloods is stronger than H50. And probably cheaper.
Here in Australia the show is not doing good , it has been moved around a lot of times , but numbers are still very weak.
