I really hate how this show was canceled. It was by far one of my favorite ones since Freaks and Geeks (although that was on a different station and back in 2001) and if any of you have seen Freaks and Geeks then you know what I’m talking about.

It’s so sad how all these great shows are canceled because of stupid people who probably don’t even watch the show and just cancel it on a whim because they didn’t even give it a chance from the beginning (1. it was aired during the summer…who really watches tv during the summer? 2. promo = bad 3. time slot = bad as well and the list goes on)

Ugh. It makes me so sick how they keep shows like 90210 (which has already been done btw…who needs a rehash really?) And now Privileged which actually is a decent show now may be up for a cancellation. Really, why even bother now…you’ve taken all the good shows, might as well just cancel CW altogether….well that is AFTER the series finale of Supernatural haha.

i hate that this show was cancelled i loved it. i was waiting for the next season but as i see it will not be another i hate that please bring it back. way is it cw wants to bring all these good shows and then take them away give them a chance.

Wow….the support here is overwhelming, and should speak volumes to the CW, as well as Kevin Williamson. Those of us who discovered this show were HOOKED. Read the comments — not many other shows on TV right now seem to have this kind of passion and dedication from its fans…

And that right there is the problem. The public has their guard up, realizing it’s probably not wise to dedicate their scarce and valuable TV watching time at home to a new show. Why commit when the networks are so quick to hit the Cancellation button?

The CW is NOT in the league of CBS, NBC, and ABC. They should be nurturing these shows with fan bases, but they’re cancelling more than they keep. Their disapproval was evident, leaving this show on the shelf and then finally playing them in the dead of summer when no one’s watching — then to claim “low ratings”. DUH. And the topper was to show the final cliffhanger episode on….July 4th??! Why not just broadcast the words “CW Hates This Show” instead?

Unfortunately HP is gone. Kevin, you did us well. Thank you. The CW — you suck…but you’ve heard that before, haven’t you?

I’m sorry to say, but i’m glad its cancelled! They showed previews of the show 100 times a day before it aired and when it aired, and the show hardly had any fans. It deserves to be cancelled whether you like it or not. It ridiculous to how many times previews of hidden palms were on, if it didn’t get ppls attention then it sucks. There are other shows that are getting cancelled that don’t deserv to be…

This was one of the worst shows I have ever seen! Those of you who actually put time into watching Hidden Palms deserve what you got becuase the show was horrible. The CW has finally done something right. Good luck finding another idiotic show to watch!

I agree with most. This show was really good, and had me hooked every week! I dont understand why they would just end it after 8 episodes. And i do also agree about the advertising. I mean i didnt see much advertising for hidden palms. They really should bring the show back!!

I don’t get it.. Why Cancel it?
It was the first teen drama I’ve ever watched, and it’s one of the best shows..
Cancelling it for having low ratings in the summer is stupid.
I really think CW should give it another chance.
I don’t care if it’ll be one year from now or even later, it’ll be enough for me to know that it hasn’t been cancelled!
PLEASE GIVE HIDDEN PALMS ANOTHER CHANCE!!

Please bring back Hidden Palms. It was the best show on tv, now that all my other tv shows have come to an end. I was really enjoying that show and as u can see so was everyone else. Please give Hidden Palms another chance and put it back on tv.

Hidden Palms was basically a one-of-a-kind show and completly original. No other show has been like it… yes, there are many drams, but this one combined drama with suspense and mystery. It was based off of a topic that no other show has had. Viewers are down because of the cancelling of this show, and many would be exasperate to see it come back. WE LOVE HIDDEN PALMS!!!

i couldn’t believe when i found out the show was cancelled! i’m so angry!!! i LOVED it and it’s not fair! they always cancel my shows!!! i think there weren’t enough viewers because of a lack of good publicity! plus, end of june and beginning of july is when most people leave for summer vacation! they should’ve given the show more of a chance, i mean, 8 episodes? how can they be sure if they wouldn’t have gotten more viewers by the 10th episode?

i am so upset that the show is being canceled. I truly did like watching it. I’m tired of people dissing it with all there sarcasm of how bad they think it is. It had more of a story line than that stupid O.C which went down hill in it’s second season, but some how managed to stay around for four. Give hidden palms a chance. Plus i really love seeing Cliff he makes the show worth while.

This is why I hate starting to watch new shows. You get all involved in them and they get cancelled. I am 33 yrs old and enjoyed this show. I was so upset when OC got cancelled. This show was like the OC and I enjoyed watching it. Networks need to give these new shows a chance. They decide to quickly to cancel shows. But yet there so quick to have ten million reality shows that are such a waste of time. Oh well i’m getting use to this with shows I like. It’s the networks lost. I think if they had given it more time they would have been happy with the ratings.

I love this show I cant believe its ended. 2 reasons are to blame, 1 its summer and nobody wants to be inside the house watching tv (it should have been saved for the fall), and 2 poor advertising. I seriously doubt that anyone even knew about it. I am obsessed with this show. It should seriously be given another chance.

iI think it’s stupid that they cancelled the show so soon. I mean maybe the ratings werent great, but it had just started.. it was only on for like a month. I don’t think that’s enough time for a show to catch on. I hadn’t even heard about the show, but I was flipping through channels and it caught my eye. I’ve watched it every week since then. The finale left so many questions because of the video clip Johnny watched at the end. I wish CW would rethink their decision. So many people have signed petitions and sent coconuts, golf balls, letters, etc. It could’ve been a really great show.

This show was by far one of the best shows. I haven’t been really into a show since The O.C. and when i saw previews for this show i got really excited. And even more so that it was a mystery is what got me hooked. You still have a chance to bring this show back, especially with that cliff-hanger at the end of the “series” finale. PLEASE BRING HIDDEN PALMS BACK!

Hidden Palms is an excellent show, from the plot to the casting it was a success. However the show lacked advertising I never saw a single preview for the show. If networks do not pick up the next season of hidden palms which looks like that may be the case, I think the next 13 episodes should be turned into a book or a movie. A movie could keep the cast, but making a movie takes money, so a book would be more simple

I dont this this show was really given a chance. After two episodes they started doubling them for it too finsh faster. Giving less people a chance to watch it. Plus they took off the sunday encore episodes. It seems like the network revolves around smallvile and supernatural only!! I think the show would have caught on if more episodes were on!! I’m a 44 year old woman/wife/mother of a teen and a mystery author, and I LOVE THIS SHOW!

It has everything: exceptional writing, a wonderful cast, a terrific music score…and a dark and mysterious plot. I think it is even better than The O.C., and that used to be one of my favorites. Shows like this keep me young!

Hidden Palms has GOT to get picked up somewhere!!! Williamson would be surprised to know he has a lot of adult fans. The problem perhaps is timing and maybe not enough pre-advertising. I was just getting used to what night it was on.

BRING BACK HIDDEN PALMS!!!! Not only do I watch it…I PVR it so I don’t miss an episode!

This is depressing…

I LOVE this show. I wish it wasn’t ending. I think it would have been a wonderful show. just because the ratings went down i thik yu should have kept going until the second season was over. Myabe some more people would get into it or something, but oh well you decided all ready and that is your choice.
