To very little surprise, ABC cancelled their low-rated sitcom In the Motherhood last week.
Only four episodes of the show had aired on Thursday nights before the network yanked it off the schedule. Later, it was quietly announced that the remaining episodes would be burned off on Friday nights beginning June 5th, partnered with episodes of also-cancelled Samantha Who?.
If you were waiting to see the three unaired installments of In the Motherhood, you’ll have to wait just a bit longer. ABC has delayed their airing and will now, supposedly, air them on Thursday nights beginning June 25th.
Two episodes of Samantha Who? will fill the 9pm hour on Fridays.

i lov in the motherhood how could they do that
I LOVED IN THE MOTHERHOOD IT WAS SO FUNNY!!!
That was the absolute best show ever…abc always takes off the good sitcoms.
Maybe only us imperfect mommies could grasp the humor, but I enjoyed it while it lasted. The cancellation may have had something to do with the fact that we rarely get to sit down and enjoy an entire show.
