I can’t believe that Journeyman is cancelled. Why do they always cancel the good shows, but leave the reality shows (gag) on the air. Atleast Life is coming back, but I can’t keep up with the time and day changing all the time! Make up your mind all ready!!!

Another one of my favorite shows cancelled and without any real conclusion/finale! Shoot it only lasted one season! What happened to giving a show time to catch on?! What’s the point of getting invested in ANY new show, if this is how we are going to be treated? Now there’s a show on ABC that is similar where the guy is in 1973, LIFE ON MARS, I think.. I refuse to watch just because of the similarities! I feel like getting rid of my tv altogether!

How is it that all the good shows get cancelled? Firefly, Journeyman, Witchblade… among a host of others. Sad, sad, sad. It’s the idiot corporations which make it all about money, just like our government. It’s folks that write these comments who need to get into decision making positions, and/or raise their kids w/the values to get them there and make the changes.

I AM ABSOLUTELY SHATTERED! HEARTBROKEN! AND DEVISTATED! I DO NOT WATCH MUCH
TV BECAUSE OF THE BRAINDEAD REALITY SHOWS THAT ARE CONSTANTLY BEING BOMBARDED ON THIS AND MANY OTHER NETWORKS! I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO WITH MY PRECIOUS TIME. THIS IS ONE SHOW THAT I SPECIALLY GAVE THANKS TO NBC FOR HAVING THE FORSIGHT TO AIR SOMETHING WITH SUBSTANCE AND STILL BE ABLE TO ENJOY IT WITH MY FAMILY. YES, THIS WAS A PROGRAM THAT REALLY MADE YOU USE YOUR BRAIN FOR A CHANGE! I SOO MUCH LOOKED FORWARD ALL WEEK LONG JUST FOR THIS SHOW, I ALSO BELEIVE IF YOU WOULD CHANGE THE TIME SLOT TO 8 OR EVEN 9 IT WOULD MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE. OR IF YOU HAD TO TAKE ANY SHOW OFF THE AIR THEN CHOOSE HEROS IT IS SO LOOOONG WINDED THAT THERE WAS NO POINT IN WATCHING IT ANY MORE ABOUT 2 SEASONS AGO! PLEASE! PLEASE RECONSIDER!

I agree – Journey was great! I am SO disappointed that it likely won’t return. What a bummer to be a dedicated viewer and get invested in the characters only to have a show cance. I will definitely buy the DVD if/when it comes out.

I don’t watch much tv…this is one of the few shows out there that can actually make me run to the tv set…and now they go and cancel it. Figures.

If ANY network execs are reading this, MOVE JOURNEYMAN TO A DIFFERENT TIME SLOT!!!

And fans, buy the DVD–more than one failed show has been revived solely on the basis of its DVD sales….

This show was a surprising gem. I found the story line to be captivating and the actors to be engaging. It will be a shame if it is dropped.

I hate this. It never fails I find a product I like and because of a Small Group of people that just happen to get paid more money than I do the product gets cancelled. It doesn’t matter if it is a product at Walmart or a television show the minute I decide it is a good thing to spend my money and time on, it gets taken off the shelf. Journeyman was intriguing, entertaining, and clean enough for me to watch w/ my entire family. That is rare! There is too many reality shows replacing good programming. I live reality everyday. I turn on the television to escape reality, not to watch someone elses! NBC, I know I am just an uncounted number to you, but please consider the opinions of people who are willing to voice them. Give Journeyman another chance.

I can’t believe that my 3 favorite shows may be cancelled. (Journeyman, Life, Hero’s). That’s a real bummer and not a happy way to start a new year. Those shows are filled with excitement that leaves the viewers anxious to see the next show. I wish they would reconsider and keep them on the air…..

With Lost taking forever to start the fourth season, Heroes dragging on a nearly pointless second season and all the scripted Reality television shows; it was nice to have a show that sparked a new interest in time-traveling and what can happen when certain actions change the future. Of course I’m speaking of “Journeyman”. I honestly did enjoy the concept of the show, I mean sometime I couldnt make time to watch it on tv so I had to watch it off the NBC website. I wonder if they count how many hits online viewers get. Anyways, NBC really messed up with this one. I was shocked to see “The Black Donnellys” get cancelled, and I wrote NBC arguing about that, but of course no response. I just wish there was a way for the producers to finish off the series and put it on dvd anyways.

Another good and well thought out show cancelled? Big surprise! Our society has become so obsessed and consumed by “reality television” that any show that is half decent will be cancelled. We wonder why our culture is filled with idiots. I am very upset that this show is getting kicked off. I really enjoyed it and I love how you actually had to use your brain to figure out the plots. I am not surprised but deeply saddened.

Journeyman is a true victim of poor scheduling. The 10pm time slot is a joke. With DVR and TIVO these days, people have no reason to stay up and watch that late show anymore, and then feel like crap at work the next day. Put Journeyman at 9pm and see what happens. Much different story then. I doubt I’ll be as apt to get into a show in the near future due to the media bigwigs not thinking outside of the box and take into account the amount of DVR recordings their shows are subject to before passing judgement on the longevity of a show.

Well, I doubt that these responses will be read by any of the network “brain” trust, but Journeyman really IS one of the best acted and written shows on the toob and should be given, at least, one more season to work out the kinks. Of course, quality TV never did hold its own against T-n-A.

I just want to say that I really enjoy Journeyman and it will be a shame if NBC cancels the series. It seems like every good show that has a sci-fi twist gets cancelled. Why would they continue Bionic Woman and cancel this far superior show, I guess the general public is more impressed with a hot chic than an intelligently written show.

I just watched episode 11. I’m very disapointed that this show is getting nixed. I even suggested the show to a few people at work.

I think this is like the 3rd show over the last 2 years that I started to really get into only to find out that it was cancelled before it even got off the ground. I’m so tired of the networks…reality TV..who cares. This show totally kills Numb3rs (a show I like), so I just don’t understand why it is getting tossed aside.

Cancelling this show will be a mistake. If the last episode comes out on DVD…I’ll definitely buy.

I guess if I want to watch a decent show, I’ll have to find a way to lower my IQ to to a level that will appreciate some of the other crap on television.

I really liked this show. I DVR three hours back to back NBC on Mondays Chuck, Heroes and this.

I know Heroes is the big news right now but I enjoy this show just as much if not more. It’s a complex theme that needs time to pan out.

I didn’t like it too much to start but if it can turn me around other viewers will too.

It doesn’t look like an expensive prodution so maybe it should be given a better chance.

There’s a only a couple of shows I like anymore. This one has me as hooked as LOST.
Maybe even more.

All these “non-reality” shows are joke.
Most shows are crap. Not renewing this show will turn me off to NBC and all TV in general.

You have a good cast of actors, a storyline you can build on and go anywhere with, action, relationship built in, and not too much sci-fi / timetravel that would turn off the non-scifi people. But enough to keep the scifi people tuning in for.

A cross between Quantum Leap and Voyagers.(giving history a kick where it’s needed to set it right )

Save a show that can easily grow
into greatness!

Promote it more! Advertise it!

After this year I have now completely lost faith that any shows that both me and my husband like will stay on the air. First it was the Black Donnellys, and now Journeyman. Do network executives have a problem with shows that the audience has to have half a brain to watch? Please don’t cancel Journeyman.

Why would they want to cancel the best show in 10 years and starring one of the best actors Kevin Mckidd who also is awesome in the HBO series Rome.This is a show that keeps you intrigued and on the edge of your seat.It’s the Quantum Leap of 2007 without him changing into anyone but hisself.It will be a disgrace if this show is canceled,best show in a long time.

This is really unfortunate. I didn’t watch the initial first episodes, but I’ve been watching since (and I have went back and revisited them) and the show has really grown on me. It’s a great idea and each episode is getting better as his past is catching up with him. Personally I enjoy all the characters and can’t wait for more questions to be asked.

I really do hope they decide not to pull it or in the least, it deserves it’s 12th episode. It’s sad to hear about shows it don’t even make it past the pilot, you never really give them the chance.

Anyways, I look forward to each episode every week now, here’s to hoping they’ll give the show a second shot.

Love “Journeyman” !!! Don’t cancel it. It’s one of the best new shows on TV. Just because you can’t compete with some of the other stations, doesn’t mean it isn’t one of the best programs you’ve done in years. By the way, we love “Studio 60″ too. Just need to find good time slots.

It would be a real shame if this show does get canceled. The first couple of episodes weren’t quite gelling, but the epides from then on have only been getting better.

The show isn’t perfect. Its like the creators said:

“Well he goes back in time…”

“goes back and does what?”

“Man, hes going back in TIME!”

“So… that would be interesting for 2 episodes, so whats he doning in the past thats so important?”

“uhh… dunno… what doyou think we sould do?”

Crap!
I was really starting to enjoy this and see where it could go. If the alphabets keep doing this to shows people genuinely like, it will become very hard to become interested in a new show for fear of a short run! (think Invasion, Threshold) I wonder if they are including DVR in their ratings?? People like me don’t even watch the shows until the weekend!
