I think it’s a great show. It has the ongoing plot that involving King’s past and then the current case each week. The actors are great and I especially like the portrayal of Edgar. It’s great to see a special needs person sown in a positive light and making significant contributions. I really hope that the show is renewed. It gets better with each episode.

Please don’t cancel. I love this show. The quirky Benny and Edgar characters enhance the main roles. Give it time– it will find an audience.

PLEASE continue this show-It is my new favorite and based on Balducci makes it all the more interesting-King and Maxwell have a chemistry and It is so clever, yet is teaching us all how to accept and learn about differences-ie: Edgar and Ben-I think it is funny suspenseful and full of surprises

Please don’t drop this series! I love it!! The characters are great together and the whole series just works!! Please don’t cancel it!

I want to like this show. Have always liked Jon. BUT how many procedurals can we endure where the two protagonists – one male, one female – have repressed sexual tension (actually, can you name one which doesn’t feature this)? And is anyone else tired of father issues from this producer? Seems to be his favorite secondary plot device. So I agree with neon star above that the writing and characters twists could be upgraded. And I hope that it gets a chance during a second season to grow and get better. More Edgar and Benny would help.

PLEASSSEEEEE DON’T CANCEL THIS SHOW. It has quickly become my favorite, along with Major Crimes. I have stopped watching some shows, just to see this one!
I disagree with Jane in the above posting. I think Rebecca Ramjin is perfect as Maxwell; can’t imagine anyone else in the role, unless they greatly increase the action for the part. Even then, I don’t think they can improve on her. LOVE IT.

King and Maxwell is a refreshing and terrific series. Baldacci’s stories really come alive! The various characters are well cast, and the shows have been suspenseful and entertaining. I hope the show is renewed.

The show is just bad. It needs better writers, the scripts are awfully uninspired. Everything about it is bland, bland, bland. I actually cringe at the “comedy” scenes, it’s that bad. Romijn doesn’t have the range the other cast members have so the chemistry with Tenney isn’t what it should be, he needs a better actress to play opposite him. I checked out the show because I was a fan of Jon Tenney’s from The Closer, too bad, King & Maxwell isn’t half as good as The Closer was. Doesn’t grab me. Fire the writers and give the man a better show! They have no clue what quality TV is.

I think this series is great. From the chemistry between Tenney and Romijn, to the awkwardness of Hurst and the entertainingly dry and distasteful, yet very well executed Michael O’Keefe, I think this show has a lot to offer. Hope it gets re-signed.
