im so sad they pulled it off the air it was a great show. when ever i see one of these episodes i get a tear in my eye.if they ever do revive it im sure alot of poeple would watch it i give this show an A+++ one of the best in my book.

I can’t believe this! I’m just hearing the show is canceled. I loved it but I also loved Another World and that ran 30+ years and was replaced by what I feel was an unmentionable tragedy. While the Saudi episodes of Family Guy might make me give it new consideration, I can only hope Mike Judge gives another series a try.

This is bull. Though it was a pretty conservative show, King of the Hill was watched by everyone and was funny not only to conservatives, but to liberals as well. It’ll be kinda odd watching The Goode Family, because it’s the EXACT opposite of King of the Hill. What does tickle me is the fact that King of the Hill was on Fox which is known to be somewhat conservative of a network, and The Goode Family is on ABC, a widely Liberal Network. Mike Judge seems to just be trying to get in where he can fit in lol.

Just like fox to cancel good and promising shows. Just found out Terminator Sarah conor chronicles cancelled and now King of the hill? WTF Fox y don’t u cancel American Idol or The Simpsons which aren’t Funny anymore instead. After the new season of 24 in 2010 There will be no reason to watch Fox anymore.

I am sorry to see the show go. After all not very many shows show show some of the family values that King of the Hill shows (IE the Simpsons let children think it’s ok to call their parents by thier first names among other things) but King of the Hill has some great morals in it. How ever they do go to the extreme on some of them.

I agree with 13 – it’s s shame that FOX continues to bring Seth MacFarlane’s garbage to us and our kids. Most off this guys stuff is DISGUSTING and it was a shock that Family Guy was brought back. (Who’s he doing at FOX to make this happen?) Now we’ll get more unintelligent, racial, sexist, toilet, wife-beating humor – just what we want right?

This show has been run to the ground. It was a good show (with a really long hiatus!) but there is nothing new here anymore. Mike Judge is very talented, the show’s voice actors really do a great job, but I’m bored. Bored bored bored. 240 episodes is more then enough, it’s overkill. And that’s not the propane talking.

I shall miss King of the Hill. It is/was probably the most intelligent animation series in the Fox line-up. Hank, like Bob Newhart, embodies the only sane man in an insane world. Very funny.

Agreed with everyone above, King of the Hill is the last of the greats! Don’t let this one great cartoon die, it’s sad when this is actually a clean fun and free cartoon that tells things like they are! You can’t even get that in Reality TV…lets not loose this one piece of true reality…save king of the hill for those of us who like the show or at least give us a chance to hold on to it through DVD!

I think it’s a bummer Fox has to be like this. Family Guy’s success can;t last forever, but they seem to be banking on the fact that it will. And they gave Cleveland a spin-off, not Quagmire. Seth Macfarlane should know that he doesn’t need to make another Simpsons style family centered show (He has 2, he doesn’t need 3) if Quagmire got his own show it would actually be a breath of fresh air in the Fox line up.

ABC is stupid to not pick up King of the Hill on top of it. They need to bring on another show to help Mike Judge’s new sow The Goode Family. I doubt that the show will be able to bring in the crowds without any help. But I hope it does succeed, I love every one of Mike Judge’s shows.

One of the best and most clever animated series in history. Definitely a favorite of mine, but even I stopped watching 2 or 3 years ago. Though I stopped watching The Simpsons long before that. King of the Hill had a great run — nothing to be sad about.
