What in the world is wrong with TV stations now days!! They take off decent shows and stick on pure junk and say it gets ‘ratings’. I don’t understand. This show was fantastic. I don’t know anyone who’s watched one episode that doesn’t fall in love with it and start watching on a daily basis right after. They seriously need to bring it back, because it’s th only reason I even watch Adult Swim. I sure can’t stand their stupid original programming. Putting episodes of King of the Hill on was the smartest thing they’ve ever done.

King of the Hill is just that “THE KING”. It’s a feel good show that we need that more than ever. While Seth and his shows have there place so does the King. I think the show gives you a perspective that is lacking in most TV shows and it does it in a entertaining and fun way. At the end of each show it leaves you laughing and touched. Can you give me a example of any other show that does this on a regular basis. We all know at least one character in the show in are own lives. This gives you a connection that keeps you coming back. I think cancelling the show is a grave mistake.

With your ratings skimming the bottom, you would think Fox might start to listen to it’s viewers. The viewers want to see the series continued. Is there anyone out there? Please continue the series, or at least close it with a decent finale .

I love King of the Hill. I’ve been watching it for years. I think at least a few more seasons should come out. Besides, I was hoping Peggy would get pregnant again. She has been wanting another baby after all.

I miss KOTH. It was the only funny thing on Sunday nights and it didn’t involve 13-year-old pee-pee humor. (Anything by that dimwit Seth Macfarlane makes me want to puke) Does anyone know if there is going to be a “complete series” available for purchase? KOTH is one that I would like to have on my shelf forever.

King of the Hill is the best show on TV! It is original and hilarious.
Both Mike Judge and Greg Daniels definately have a great sense of humor.
Most other TV shows are are stupid and “cheesy”.

My seventeen year old son got me hooked this spring. Never had seen the show before and he and i started watching regularly. Received seasons 1 and 2 for my birthday this september and love the show. I have been recording and watching past episodes on swim. Boomhower rules.

Please don’t take king of the hill because i have just stared watching it for the last season to be my first and then i got some of the DVDs to catch up on the pasted episodes and watching it on cartoon network . but that could give them a chance because if you look at what happen to family guy they were cancelled and then started on CN and fox saw how good they was doing on there and then fox came begging Seth to come back so i will keep hope alive because we all need propane and propane accessories

The last episode sucked!!! It wasn’t even set up as a finale, it just like any other episode. We didn’t get any closer, or find out where the lives of the characters went. Very disappointing…

I never watched cartoon based shows, My 11 year old son turned me on to this program
and i felt there were Valued family life lessons of caring and compassion ,Relationships between Son and Father,Forgivness and placing one self own needs aside to help another, It desplayed friend ship,Light hearted comedy, Work ethics I hade to go to bed @ 10 pm so on adult swim it was hard. I fell very sad it is lost, we feel betrayed what is replacing it?
Season finale seemed a little sneakey as most dont know it is off the air>

I for one am upset tht Fox would cancel King of the Hill which general has a good message & keep Family Guy & American Dad, which over all has now redeeming value. Haven’t seen the Cleavland show yet, but I pretty much know what it’s content is going to be – crap. I am going to exercise my right to tune out – Fox you suck!

wow, Fox doesn’t know what to do…I agree with some other posts – let it go to CN. BTW, I still don’t understand why Fox stopped with Season Six of the DVD releases. There’s plenty of good episodes following that season, although it did start to go down in quality around Season Ten, but man they need more seasons on DVD. I know I would continue to buy them, as I have bought seasons 1-6 already.

King of the Hill has been my all time favorite TV show since the year 2000 and the fact that the people at FOX are willing to cancel a show with such a huge fan base is personally an insult. Although I enjoy some of the networks other shows (mainly Family Guy), I will be boycotting this network for the far foreseeable future. For the FOX executives to cancel KotH to make room for crappy animated spinoffs like “Cleveland” (A show that if it makes it to the year 2010 would be a huge statement to how sad our society has become) makes me want to vomit.

Great job Fox, I just hope that Adult Swim would keep King of the Hill running unlike you Fox people. You destroyed so much shows, and this is my most favorite show ever, and you people cancel it? And, I enjoy that show. If you cancel that show, then I will hate “Fox” forever, then I would have to wait till 10:00 PM to watch it (Which I’m fine with.) . But King of the Hill is a reasonable show and isnt atleast offensive like Family Guy and the new show your going to put in. Freakin’ Fox…. You guys sucks, this really blows.

I hope you have a fantastic time cancelling the only show I watched in Fox.

I grew up with this show look at all the crap they have triedon Fox this is the second longest animated show to run. When I found out it was cancelled it felt like I lost my father. It should not have been canceled and I hope it comes back on Tv.

If Fox let the show go, Cartoon Network should air the leftover episodes. Eventually, they’ll be on DVD and Blu-Ray, but that’s not for a while. I just wish Fox renewed the show.

Big mistake to cancel the best and keep the rest. It was hard enough trying to keep up with where the show was time slotted. The Simsons used to be funny. Family Guy is something of a tired old *****. [anything for a trick...get it] just not fun anymore, and it’s on for one and a half hours!
But then again, we really were watching way tooo much TV. No reason for Sunday evening fox now.

Personally I think Fox should relinquish both “King Of The Hill” & “Futurama” and just let the other networks deal with them. CN & Adult Swim have noted that they can do justice to Futurama by any means necessary if Fox ever gives it up to them. To be honest I never really liked it on Comedy Central as it wasn’t advertised enough to watch. Plus having multiple times with re-airing made it easier to watch on AS. I never have been a real KOTH fan but I actually have gotten into it now after seeing it on AS. Truth be told other networks like CN or Comedy Central would be willing to continue these series as they will draw viewers. Keeping lingering episodes, dangling them in front of us doesn’t exactly scream “WE NEED TO WATCH FOX!” Instead it’s more like “God…are they going to air this or not?!”

I’m not saying that Fox is a bad channel but it’s clear that they don’t really know how to handle shows people like nor do they have an idea how to really decide whether to end them or not.

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing when the cancellation of koth talk began… For what – ANOTHER seth macfarlane show, jesus how much do you want to milk something? I found myself very bored with family guy early in its latest season (coming from someone who used to absolutely love the show) but now it’s just full of random jokes and any form of storyline is so weak they could get away without a storyline. American Dad is good, though after watching the Cleveland Show pilot Fox are doing a great thing American broadcasters have a knack for – milking the hell out of a show so much you no longer have any love for it come its final episodes.

The other Sunday Fox cartoon, (not even worth mentioning Sit Down, Shut Up) everyone knows is the Simpsons, which most people seem unanimous in criticising these days. Another cartoon that I absolutely adore and have done for so many years now, I purely watch the new episodes because I loved the original Simpsons so much – if I hadn’t seen them I really wouldn’t bother with it whatsoever.

KOTH may not have been supremely original but comparing it to the other shows now, it’s the only cartoon left that still follows the original happy family entertainment layout on the Sunday night line-up and hasn’t resorted to random (at a ridiculous level) and sarcastic (it was funny at first, but now most of the cut-out jokes are mildly irritating) ‘story’-lines.

I STOPPED WATCHING NEW STUFF A FEW YEARS AGO, YOU GET INTO IT THEN IT’S CANCELLED AFTER A FEW SERIES. AND THE ENDINGS DON’T MAKE SENSE AS THEY TRY TO GET SEVERAL SEASONS INTO ONE. IF YOU ACTUALLY GET AN ENDING THAT IS.

I think FOX is being very ungrateful. The creators and people who’ve worked on this show for 13 years are being totally shunned by the network. Why not air the remaining 6 episodes? They’re airing Sit Down, Shut Up on Saturday nights, what’s wrong with KotH as a lead in or lead out from that show? It just shows that TV & Hollywood are just a greedy business.
