The only intelligent show that survived for more seasons than I thought it would was The West Wing. Shows like Kings have a very poor track record for living past the first few episodes. I can only hope that broadband can usher in a new premium service that will allow for this type of programming to survive. I will gladly put up $15-20 a month for good HD programming. The new WB.com is working on this, but it’s not there yet.

I just had the opportunity to watch all of the episodes on a friends IPOD. Every episode and they had me hooked. Why can’t we keep something like this on television? I am sick of all the CSI, cops shows. Kings episodes were intriguing, exciting, explosive, creative, entertaining, provocative and kept you not only on the edge of your seat…..but wanting more. Now I have seen all of the episodes available with no hope of seeing any more because the TV knotheads have cancelled the show. I didn’t even know it was on the TV because they didn’t do their job and market it to the public who want to watch it. Put Kings back on television and market it to the right people, you will be amazed at how much money you make with this one. But alas they won’t listen because they know more about what we want than we do….. Put KINGS back on!!!!!!!!!!

:O……. I’m am so PISSED!! Not just at NBC but at every channel!! This was one good gem and they toss it out the window!! I’m protesting television til they get and keep some GOOD shows!! None of this “Girls next Door” or “Kendra” crap or all those stupid “Desperate Housewives”!! And I agree, how many “cops and robbers” TV shows do we need!? I mean there are all the Law and Order shows, CSI, CSI:Miami, Cold Case,(etc, etc) and then teen dramas like “Gossip Girl” and “Degrassi” why do we need so many shows about teenage troubles!? If I wanna watch a show I will watch it on a totally legal website where I don’t have to wait on schedules based around crappy shows and maybe some day I will support Direct TV or Dish when these stupid channels get some DECENT television shows!! I have no problem what-so-ever paying for my television but I’m tired of having Direct TV or Dish’s premium packages and not ever being able to watch anything because so many of the wrong, worse, and stupidest shows are airing season after season and good shows, like Kings, are being canceled! So, there’s my rant and even though NBC will ignore it I hope it helps get through some body’s head that television is full of crap and something needs to change.

I live in Ireland and RTE 2 are showing Kings at the moment. The Final Episode will be on next week. I was so disappointed when I found out NBC had cancelled this great series. My teenage daughter and I are hooked. There was no advertising about the show here either and RTE put it on after midnight on a Thursday/Friday. I missed the first few episodes and tried to watch them on NBC (didn’t work!). The show is addictive. The more episode you watch the more you want to see. NBC should give it a chance.

This show was great, another example of a network not letting a show get legs, and cutting it to early. Don’t they relized that they are throwing away money here, all the promotions etc. now they will spend more money promoting a show no ones heard of. Also nice time slot…NOT good thing I had DVR series set up or I would of missed the last couple episodes.

I want this show back on network TV. Who really wants to see reality shows and two to three hours of Dateline? ” Kings” is worth watching. I kept looking forward to seeing it and then I noticed it was off again!!

A true fan of “Kings”

Wednesdays, Fridays,Mondays, Thursdays are good days for the series. Nothing good is on!!! There are too many doubling of single shows on network TV. Why, I don’t know. “Kings” is much better for viewing. I love the series!!!

My favorite show. Better than Lost, Heroes, and dozens of others. It is better written and acted and I find myself immersed in the story much like a good book. There hasn’t been a show like this in a long, long time. I agree with the previous comments, there are too many crime and law dramas already. This is something fresh and new. Don’t be afraid to go against the flow – take some risk and keep this show going as I think it may pay off. Perhaps you have marketed the show to the wrong population segment. I will miss Kings.

I enjoy this show. There’s too many hospital/lawyer/cop shows on. This one is refreshingly different.

I didn’t really catch this show until I found it on Hulu and would have never seen it otherwise due to my schedule. I do hope to see it next season. It’s a captivating series and it is too bad it doesn’t have a better time slot or more advertising. I was sucked in after the first episode and grew so attached to the characters.

This is a really great show. It has Everything Violence,Treachery,Family disfunction ,Love,Loyalty,Mad Men And More. It is the very Best And The Worst Of humanity. KINGS Is THE BEST SHOW EVER PLEASE GIVE IT MORE TIME. Put It ON in a Better Time Slot And Day, AND Advertise A Bit More. This show is great….. Good drama not to cheesy and the characters are deep. Ian McShane is great he plays a mean guy you wanna like. The rest of the cast complements him in the show. Please don’t cancel this show NBC grow a pair and give it a little ad support I didn’t find it until I was watching HULU….

This is one of the best shows I have ever watched. Please, Please, Please bring it back for a second season or have the show picked up by another network (HBO, Showtime. . . ). The show has a great story line and is very intelligent and thought provoking. It is certainly not meant for the brain dead masses that enjoy shows like Celebrity Apprentice and the Chopping Block but there needs to be something out there for those of us who like to use our brains and this show is perfect for that.

Someone please do something to save this show!!!

I LOOOOOOOOVE this show!!!! It’s not the religious tones that bring me in, it is the excellent acting and the wonderful writing that make this a joy to watch. It is a good story no matter what ethnicity you are and it brings me such sadness to see it go. I truly hope they consider putting this show in a prime time slot to give it a fighting chance!

They need to do a “re-cap” special to bring in the audience they were hoping to grab, what did they expect putting such a dynamic show on sunday, or even worse on Saturday when very few young viewers would be home. They need to capture the young audience who would latch on to a show like this that is about war- hello, can we say super-relavant? C’mon nbc give it as much press as Heroes (great show) and it will catch on

Please, you cant save this show by mailing in goofy stickers. The ratings were horrible for such an expensive show. Its gone the way of Journeyman, Surface, Threshold, Invasion, Life on Mars, and 100 other shows. Lots of potential but Kings fell flat – the acting was stiff and more like watching some stuffy PBS special shipped in from the BBC in London. Most annoying thing was the Home Alone kids along with never fleshing out the rest of the world. Where was Gilboa and Gath? What going on in the rest of the world? How did the world end up that way? It has alog of potential but mostly just bored people to death. Just be glad NBC at least aired all the episodes. Other cancelled shows havent been so lucky – forcing fans to buy the DVD to see them.

We stumbled on to this show, bored of watching stupid channels with nothing but reality shows and finally your channel gives us something to look forward to seeing each week, although it was very difficult to catch it on a Saturday, (thank goodness for DVR). This is the best series or could be if repeated each season, our family if for sure hooked. I will be so pissed off if this show is cancelled. I hope someone at NBC is smart enough to make heads spend so that something happens and sees to it that this show will continue.

I just started watching Kings and am hooked. Now that I know it’s cancelled and I’m pissed off. The show is amazing I’m so disappointed in NBC for cancelling. i don’t think this show was even given a chance! i mean i didnt even hear about until like the eighth episode. you got to have patience try it out for at least another season answer all the question you left us with i mean we are just left hanging here

NBC needs to recognize this is an incredible series that THEY failed to advertise. I found this by accident channel surfing one night and got hooked. I watched the missed episodes on Hulu. At the very least, they need to wrap up the series as best possible in a mini series for TV.

I would hope that they will bring it back. There is only one other program I on NBC.

Incredible they would even consider killing such a good program, tightly written, well acted and actually mentally engaging instead of the airhead fluff on their channel today!

did the author of this use the word chagrin twice really ? lol some one needs a new thesaurus. this show is amazing though im completly cuaght up in the dynamic charactors now in episode nine we see the inner good ness that david brings out in people when all along we thought we saw who the prince was davids constant goodness brings out of this prince something none of us thought he was cappable. unselfish act that helps david one of the best moments ive seen on tv in a few years
