Bring back the KITT!
The series is simply awesome, everyone , old and young enjoy it.
It is about potential. Possibility. Future perhaps.
It is not bull **** which continues to crowd the silver screen.
Give it a fair go! Bring our Knight back to-day!
NBC , you can do better than that then pull the plug, it had been

Bring on season 2. I was never really a big fan of the old show but I would watch every once and a while, but it was great to see the new twist and technologies in the new rider, which has turned me into a dedicated Knight Rider fan. After all of the stupid reality shows and junk they put on tv now, it is nice to really have a show that you can just sit down and enjoy, and really look forward to watching every week, but now it’s gone. Please do us all a favor, and bring back a good thing, and leave it on.

I only found out about the new series recently and watch all the episodes online… all I can say is that they were amazing and they were way more realistic than the original knight rider episodes (though I loved those to – back then)

I think that NBC may have not let the series have a true chance to show its potential. If I’m only finding out about it now, I would say they did not market as well as they probably should have…. I think now that 2 years have past and knight rider fans from around the world have now found out about the series, they may have a better shot.

NBC you should really continue this series, it really was good, especially when it switched to the old style on the last few episodes – characters were amazing and plots were great!

Come on NBC, don’t kill something good and replace it with these boring “reality shows” lol…

It wasn’t given a fair chance! I thoroughly enjoyed the show and it’s about time the US networks stopped relying so hevily on ratings and started recognising the potentials of shows like this to brighten up peoples lives. Glen Larson and this shows heritage should have earned this show a right to stay. It’s not like it was a drain on resources, Ford were pretty much footing the bills anyway. I’m sure GM or any other motor manufacturer would pay top dolar to sponser another series and gain weekly slots of 45 minute long product placement time that would ultimately prove more valuable than any commercials campaign.

Yes! Bring KNIGHT RIDER back! Here in Spain we are missing more of Knight Rider… and yes, they should move away from those “big themes” with terrorists and stuff and BRING BACK old good KITT’s personality and let us enjoy the “essence” of the show, which was more the “KITT helps the next door neighbour” kind of script than those BIG-BAG-BOOM action scenes without soul! I insist: don’t forget bringing back KITT’s personality, which, let me remind you, was old-fashioned and very responsible in one way, but also displayed a very funny “gentleman’s sense of humour” which contrasted (and worked wonders!) with Michael Knight’ nonchalant style.

I love Knight Rider and it should go for a second season. My teacher Mrs. Kees told me in high school the reason it didn’t go for a second season because not a lot of people watched it but a few people in Alliance NE watched it. The person from NBC who canceled it should be fired and they’re making a movie of Knight Rider in 2012. There’s all other shows like NCIS, CSI, Law & Order, Monk, and all the others but do you see a bullet proof car that can jump over stuff and transform into other vehicles? No you don’t!! I remember watching reruns of the 80s Knight Rider when I was little and when my brother and sister were going to school and this was before I started school. Don’t get me wrong. I loved the old Knight Rider. But a few things killed me on the remake.
1> Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500. Sorry but you should have stayed with GM even if GM has turned to **** over the past few years.
2> Transforming KITT? Come on this isn’t Transformers. This is Knight Rider. Stop trying to merge 2 genres.
3> How short of a series it was. Except for the above problems, I thought the series was great and I loved how they would sneak in little things to give homage to the original. Like when Mike and his girlfriend went to the beach and used the names from the Original Series.

This is pathetic to kill out a show that was so different from the rest of the common reality shows that they all copy from one another. And i loved the old “Knight Rider” when i was a kid, and this brought it all back. This was a abit different and alot wanted too much of the ole.As back then there was no possible way to do what can be done now with CG.Shows and actors were gettting better within their characters, cant say i liked when they killed out the few characters but who is to say if they really died.But, we will never know such as they get rid of a show. Do us all a favor and get rid of the “real dumb shows”, these dumb lose weight shows, singing,cooking shows,dating crap. And why wouldnt the ratings got bad with Knight Rider, you would make like couple then suddenly switch it on different nights. Move a good show in place for more stupid azz reality crap, just to compete with 3 other channels with the same idea is real creative.Then make few shows stop and not inform your fans at all whats going on is a foolish way to keep a show going. Not to bright on the over all view on what they should of done in the future of the show. They could of made mess load if they made items, merchandising wise. Tell me who wouldnt of bought the car if they made one, like a 1/18th die cast model of Kitt & Karr?? Shirts,posters,coffee mugs…and so on. Anyway, tell me when our opinions made a difference… should of just made a stronger idea how they were going to handle the show then chop it up and juggle all at once.

I was ecstatic when I found out that they brought back KITT(shoulda used camero instead of mustang) but have seen all of season 1 at least a dozen times and think that there isnt enough KITT fans to keep the ratings up is a joke. First of all, no one can expect that the new knight rider to ever be like the one back in 82. However this new version must be allowed to earn its place as a cult classic. To begin with, put the hoff in some more of its episodes. Like it or not, he is the original Michael Knight, and his presence will add to the success of the new series. David Hasselhoff could maybe appear in some of the episodes but I think Justin Bruening does a better job because the show is about Michael Knight’s son Mike Tracuer who is played by Justin Bruening and later changes his name to Michael Knight. They are making a movie about Knight Rider in 2012 and I bet David Hasselhoff is probably going to be it.

I watched all of the old knight rider shows as a kid growing up and thought they did a great job in picking the shelby mustang to be kitt my suggestion is dont cancel a show that has alot of potential with a new car that turns eyes even at a car dealership but continue and produce new shows promote the show more the new era of people dont know much of the old knight rider so the new audience is confused as to why david hasselhoff made a distant brief appearance bring hasselhoff back for a few shows yes it will cost money but also it will drive up ratings and then have a way of Hoff going off the show but at least u will drive old and new people to the new show personally NBC i could care less about Jay Leno Conan i would rather see a decked out mustang that goes fast and action and adventure then listen to people bash each other give knight rider another season to prove itself there have been other shows that crashed and burned far more

NBC pulling the plug on a great tv show such as Knight Rider was a seriously bad move on their part, I can not understand what made NBC replace KR with Jay leno, or any other reality show. I dont believe that a whole country would be interested in watching someone pick their nose, scratch their backside or dig their underwear out of their butt.

KR had a decent storyline, great sfx, and made watching tv worthwhile, how could anyone think that one season of a show would determine the whole nations perspective of a tv show. NBC rethink your outlook on this show. There is sooo much more that you could do with this storyline………

Knight Rider jumped the shark on its first regular episode when they tried to turn KITT into a morphing Transformer. Bad idea. The original show had a believeable premise. The pilot for the current show did as well. But turning KITT into a terrorist fighting Transformer was a deal killer for a great many fans.

Based upon this article the producers clearly saw this as well and tried to return the show back to its roots, but it was too late. Many loyal fans had tuned out for good. I do, however, think the premise of a made for TV movie would be successful IF the producers and writers keep the show on track.

Knight Rider, the series of my childhood dreams! KR 2000 was thin, except for David Hasselhoff. Then KR 2008 came along, I was really really glad to say the least. AND the new KITT was one of my fav. cars, it had a really good start, lost morale somewhere along the middle, but it had real potential given a few tweaks. aw what? only just seen the first episode in the UK and its already been cancelled? that just sucks, theres too many decent shows getting binned for no reason. We just get into watching something and it gets finished. Watched about 30 episodes of Invasion for it to finish on a cliffhanger and get cancelled. Reaper has been cancelled and we loved that, now this. Pointless watching any more episodes then really.

If its not some stupid losers stuck in a house together for several weeks, or some random woman whos had a baby with some random bloke and he’s an alcoholic and blah blah blah then its not good tv and no-one will watch it. Load of tosh, too much rubbish on tv and not enough long term programming. Can’t just give things 1 season to see if its worthy, need 2 or 3 for sure.

Getting sik of watching USA tv programs on UK tv now, they’ll only be cancelled before the season finishes anyway so whats the point.

I just can’t believe that crap like the office is still running, while halfway decent shows like knight rider and bionic woman get cancelled after one season. Being a 10 month old post I’m hoping things have changed, but won’t be surprised if it hasn’t. Very close to canceling cable since I end up spending less and less time watching tv.

It’s sad how a show has to be an instant ratings magnet or it gets canned, instead of someone at the network actually appreciating the quality and potential of the show and realizing that better advertising and better time slot is the answer, not canceling it. Broadcast the new Knight Rider on Friday night just like its 1980′s predecessor and I’m sure it can be a hit series. There are also many more millions of 80′s Knight Rider fans which I’m sure NBC is not reaching and a little more marketing could pay off hugely.

It was my dream – the new KR!!! I was waiting for it since 98th… But now they gave just 1 season and thats all? hey!!! people from NBC!!! You are crashing the dreams of people!!! We need KR!!! It’s a great show!!

I love the show . I thought that KARR looked cool in Knight To King’s Pawn. It would be nice to see the show come back on . I was looking forward to see if they would do a episode with Goliath after seeing KARR

I was so damn heart broken to realize that the show I loved so much and looked forward to seeing every chance I could, was Cancelled. WTF? I am so sick and tired of NETWORK EXECS thinking they know what i want to see! Well they dont because if they did I would be watching my Knight Rider save the day. The show of my childhood was brought back for what was merely a second compared to the original if these folks today were around back then in the 80′s I wouldnt even have my memories of the original Kitt to keep me from being disgusted with NBC (Nothing but *****) the stupid “Office” loving idiots……. I work in a office and it is nothing I want to watch on freaking TV when I come home from my office. So NBC Execs GET A FUKING CLUE AND BRING BACK KNIGHT RIDER

Bring the show back and give it a chance. The tech behind the show was great and the cast had great chemistry. A true Knight Rider fan will catch up, trust me. it’s a fun show to watch.

I am with all of the above on this one. This revival was one i went into very dubiously, given the fact that the original holds great sentimentality in my TV viewing history. As a child it was one of the shows that i was there every episode for, eagerly sat in front of the TV, waiting for it to start & i still, at 30 yrs old i watch any re runs that are on of the man Hoff & his more than faithful sidekick! So when i watched the pilot movie for this, i sat, to be honest not expecting too much from it, i mean, how can you top the Hoff as Michael Knight??? But boy, did this work, in fact, it rocked! I was very surprised & soon settled in to getting to know the new team & there history, which again, was really well thought out. Hats off to everyone involved, cast & crew, no one more so than a certain new boy, Mr Justin Bruening & his even newer Ford Shelby Cobra GT500, who together, took on a massive task, filling those boots & they carry it off, VERY convincingly! I am VERY impressed with the whole thing & thats coming from a massive fan of the old era. Every episode i could feel myself getting sucked back into the world of Knight Industries, the flag revival & more importantly, my childhood. I dont watch TV much at all, but this show would definately have me tuning back in every week!
So to NBC, i would like to say, give your heads a MASSIVE shake & give KR more of a chance, because from what ive read all over the web, this is the show that would have a lot of people hooked all over again. Something people have fond memories of & can watch with their kids, the new generation of TV viewers, the ones that are going to carry on paying your wages!!! Get this reality crap off the box, because everybody has there own reality every day of the week & dont want to watch someone elses! NBC are really going down in my estimation, first they kill off The Contender & now this, seriously, sort it out!!!

I can’t believe that NBC would cancel Knight Rider it was a great show and any time a missed on I would watch it on line the next day. I thought that it was a great show and that it was also a family type show also (witch there are not may of those left.) Maybe NBC should have thought about advertising it a little more then they did and that way more people would have heard about it and tuned in to watch….

Hi, there just wanted to say that NBC did a bad move by canceling knight rider, We are just so fed up with those ****** crap **** reality shows, we want knight rider back; something which entertain us and make us relax with the entire family and also some nostalgic moments, you didn’t even gave the show time to ‘fit in’. there are tonnes of TV shows nowadays and very few give us the joy that we use to feel when watching the TV shows in the 80′s and knight rider is one of it

Hi, I am so disappointed that you took off Knight Rider. I loved the original, and liked the new series better, especially with the changing, fast Mustang. It is shame that you put Jay Leno back on, when he retired from the tonight show. We all saw enough of him, now you put him on five nights a week. Where is you reasoning??? NBC, Havent a clue what there viewers wont to see, K.R was a great show and for a show to bring a familey togeather for 1 hour once a week was great, But NO thay have to cancle and and replace with cheap crap, NBC you going down the loo.
