Las Vegas: New Baby Booties Campaign to Save the NBC Drama

Las Vegas Danny and DelindaOutraged that the peacock network has cancelled Las Vegas after five years on the air? Angry that there wasn’t a proper series finale? Well, you’re not alone.

A group of devoted fans are joining together to deluge NBC execs with baby booties and socks, a reference to viewers being left up in the air over Danny and Delinda’s pregnancy. You can send the infant foot footwear to the peacock network yourself or you can contribute to be part of a group shipment.

Las Vegas’ series creator Gary Scott Thompson has lent his support to the campaign and said, “On behalf of the cast and crew of Las Vegas, thank you for your support the last five seasons. Why cancel the only successful show??????

5 TBS pay me January 14, 2009 at 8:15 pm

I have a great idea. I watch reruns on TBS all the time. They should pick up the series and show NBC what they missed. Bring James Caan back. You would make enough bank to pay him and Tom. If they are unsure, they could run an on-line response campaign to determine interest. Friday night television is truly lacking.

Me and my husband just bought all five seasons, we were very upset when we got to the end to find out they ended the series as a cliffhanger. When you spend that much time watching the caracters become real. We need closure. PLEASE…

It is awful that NBC would not at least run a sixth season to put some finality to a loved program, especially since it was number one in the ratings the last two episodes. It would mean so much to fans if there was closure in any form. Even a movie would be appreciated.
