2.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.31 million total viewers.
Season averages: 2.20 in the demo with 9.31 million.

Year-to-year, the network was up slightly but that’s not very encouraging when you consider ABC was airing the big bomb known as Charlie’s Angels. It was a distant third in its timeslot in the demo and a close third in viewers — behind The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men on CBS and The X Factor on FOX. This is a tough timeslot but Last Resort clearly didn’t rise to the challenge.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the Last Resort TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

Great show. Too bad it’s gone. Hope they at least give us a complete ending to the show.

Last Resort – Excellent story – lousy timeslot. Should have picked 10PM – same as Nashville & Revenge. Whoever slotted it at 8pm Thursday should be fired

Please don’t cancel this show! I watch it religiously & would be highly offended if Last Resort was canceled.

This show seriously rules. It is super depressing that isn’t doing so well. I really hope it doesn’t get cancelled!!!

I truly enjoy it. I’m a US Navy Submarine Sailor
and still enjoy the show. Save it, don’t cancel

I love it! Though I’m not sure how long they can stay on that island. I’m hoping some of them get to go back and maybe some court room drama can follow. The storyline hasto starts to unfold. They need to give up a little more before people start to lose interest.
I’d like to see more of the “bad guys’ world”… you know, more on who is behind it, what’s up with this war, What are the pakistanis up to, etc. I loved the russians sneaking in. Maybe more of what the rest of the world thinks of it.
And for the love of all, show us the president and his reaction! He should be a main character!
But those are just my thoughts. :-)

Love the show! Have to DVR cuz there is so much competition in that time slot. I think it would do great with more people watching if it was in a different time slot. It would be sad to see this show go do to its terrible times lot !!

The acting/dialogue gets as little cheesy every now and then, but it’s enjoyable with a nice tense-at-times story. The biggest compliment I can give it is that every episode, there is at least one “HOLY CRAP” moment where something so unexpected and awesome happens where we all sit up and yell that at the same time! Braugher is great! I’d be less than thrilled if this show was canceled!

Best new show of the season with many fresh new faces and better than average acting. Andre Braugher is an Emmy candidate and perfectly suited for his role. DO NOT CANCEL; INSTEAD, MOVE IT TO A DIFFERENT NIGHT & TIME SLOT WHERE IT CAN BREATHE!

Last Resort
It is a marvelous show. Characters are full of life and dedication to their mission. All the episodes so far have kept me on the edge of my seat. I’m glued for a full hour!

I actually love this show, I really hope they don’t cancel it, I agree with Elektro, it is very surprising and unique

Elektro November 5, 2012 at 3:01 pm

This is the most surprising new show at tv.

The set is unique, an island an a clausotrophic dark submarine with all elements of making nerv shaking. You could set an attack or beeing attacked a failure of the boot with drama and rescue in last minute.

A love story on the island, a conquest against the crew, or the origin citizen mob.

A political story in Washington and so on. This is a wide open story which could tell enough stories to be not bored.

Other series are a copy of other series or the story is so flat or only for popcorn.

I wish you give it a try, it is the best new series in 2012!

At first I was highly interested, but the story lines and writing have gotten stupid. It was with great regret and disappointment I deleted by TiVo auto-record of this show.
